£45 set meal for a £20.50 chicken shish (£10 in takeaway) & starters. So between 4 of we paid £100 for starters. Ridiculous. RIP off Food was so so. Drinks were extortionate Did not enjoy at all. Also one person rang a week before to say they couldn’t make it & refused deposit refunded. Again RIP off. One good thing was waitress. She was excellent.

They are trading somewhere they shouldn’t be. Partner is in so much pain and has food poisoning from them! Don’t order a thing from there. They are lying and are not in the shop they was at Upminster. They must be cooking from a home address or something

One of the finest steak restaurants locally and also great other food too , so sad to see it closed now. To me it's always been there (a little like Roomes), a landmark restaurant where the waiters were there for years, felt like a family reunion when we went! Really miss it! Just hope someone opens another great Greek and steak place there soon!

No not at night daytime only. Went for fish & chips, it was haddock in batter,it was rubbery & chewy (Overcooked) not up to their usual standard. Disappointed really.

Nice food as always but now they include a service charge. If the service is good we tip to what we think they deserve but we totally disagree having 10% slapped onto the bill as a mandatory fee. Unfortunately Top Meadow you have lost our custom and I would expect many others will follow

Not an Indian at all but bland Bangladeshi food. There is a huge difference between the two. However, to the untrained it makes no difference. Bhajiyas should never be called Bhaji. If you like Bengali cousins then it’s ok, but for someone who’s lived in India I know. The biriyani was the most terrible thing I’ve eaten, no flavour whatever, not even a hint of mild spices. I like mild spiciness. Waiter argued that it was right. Their Lamb kadhai was full of large pieces of onions and peppers, again no flavour. It should have a thick sauce. I feel sorry for locals who think this is Indian. They were clearly enjoying it. Even Pakistani food is way above this. Try Tayabs (Pakistani) or Hitchki (Indian) in Whitechapel, but not Bricklane.
