Tasty Bites in Havering

Fly-tipping your rubbish in South London is not acceptable.

Nice enough food, but expensive, small portion sizes and didn't quite receive the order I had placed...

Unfortunately, after years and years of ordering brilliant food from Tasty Bites, this particular order was watery and lacked flavour. Hoping it’s back to great next time.

Takeaway food of Restaurant quality class. The Dhansak is especially good. It must be said that the prices are at restaurant level too.

Unfortunately so so disappointing, the blandest indian food we've ever tasted. No flavour in any dish whatsoever, honestly the thing that had the most flavour out of everything was the poppadoms.

Wrong items delivered and when called to complain, was given some very facetious response. Awful customer care.....made me feel it was my fault I lived to far away to get correct items to me quicker!!!! GET THE ORDER RIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE & LOSE THE ATTITUDE!!!!

Food was tasty but I requested delivery at 7pm and it arrived at 7:35 after chasing up the restaurant. Also the rice was cold.

Been ordering takeway from here for a few months. It's been very good. But tonight I ordered a couple of dishes and the amount of chicken in both dishes was very poor. They seem to add a large amount of onion. Now for someone who orders every week from here you would have thought they would keep their best customers happy. Also they never put extra poppadoms in . I thought they were best around in the early days, but it's time for a change. They should think about there regulars.

The Chatt was ok but a little bland compared to other restaurants and the rice, onion salad and papadoms were good but the Green Massala was disgusting so that was £9.95 straight in the bin. It had an indescribable taste but suffice to say it tasted beyond awful.

First time trying.. thoroughly enjoyed it. Turned up hot. 👍

Was Cold and burnt so the chicken was dry

Really good apart from the naan bread which was nearly cold and was quite cardboard like.

Such a great curry house - my favourite is the Railway Lamb, highly recommend this tender lamb, potato & spinach curry. Order early, it’s worth the wait!

More expensive than the rest but worth it.

I received a text message from Just Eat informing me that my order was delayed. I phoned the restaurant who said food that my food had left the restaurant and the delay was due to chef shortages. I was advised my food would be with me within 20 minutes. I expressed concern that my food would be cold by the time it arrived. My order arrived cold and had missing items.

Delivered super quick, food was piping hot and was very good. Cheers Tasty Bites.

Never ordered from Tasty Bites before but it was exceptional. And surprisingly still hot on arrival. Would like to see a Garlic and Corriander Naan on the menu. Will definitely use again. Thank you 😊

This is The Best Curry House in the world. First ordered from them the week they opened in 1997 and have been ordering regularly ever since. The food is amazing and the service always friendly and polite. You have a bit of a wait for a delivery but OMG is it worth it! We travel about a bit (pre lockdown!) and rate other curries on a scale of 1 to Tasty Bites. Honestly, we haven't found one as good anywhere yet

Estimated delivery time was 90 minutes after the order time. In reality the food arrived 20 minutes later than that- a long time to wait. Food was delicious though and everything was there.

Amazing food but really disappointed it arrived so early as it meant we had to stick it in the oven while we got the kids to bed. Otherwise great food as usual.

Best takeaway I’ve had in a long time, ordered the takeaway over the phone was told it was going to be about an hour for delivery, however the driver Shelim turned up with piping hot food with In 30 mins. (Lovely chap) The food was very tasty and flavoursome, my favourite was the king prawn Dansak, and the garlic Nan. I would highly recommend this takeaway to everyone.

There is no better local curry house - don't argue you will lose 👍

Fantastic range of vegetarian dishes each with a great range of vegetables and spices. Arrived hot and earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise as orders in the past have more often than not been quite late. Delicious meal enjoyed by everyone. Would recommend the Bombay potato-it is the best mix of spices, quantity of potato or consistency of any tried locally or nationally. Thank you for continuing to deliver such a wonderful choice of great quality food.

This place has become the favourite Indian takeaway in my household. I’ve tried a number of different dishes now, and they are always very tasty, and consistent! Delivery is always on time, if not early. I would highly recommend.

Food was ok, when ordering I was given a 40 min delivery time. Once order placed it the change to 1.45 hours. Food was ok, 1 item missing however not the end of the world. Not sure if I would come back we will see

I ordered Friday it’s now Sunday !!! You having a laugh. Collected Friday as restaurant told you no deliveries/no drivers don’t take orders but you did !!! Just got e mail saying delivering tonight , not here you won’t ! Never use you again 😱

Food was missing an item and the rice wasn't what we ordered. Driver was rude and told us we needed to meet him in our car park rather than bringing the food to our flat.

Food always great but delivery ALWAYS late, very late. Today was over 45 mins late. It’s a shame as the food is lovely but we will be trying other places from now on.

This restaurant always delivers late with no warning, and never apologise :-( Will be looking for somewhere else to order from in future.

Very long predicted wait (1 hour) - still wasn't on time.

Shocking service, took over 2 hours to arrive. Called restaurant twice who didn't seem apologetic or see any issue with the delivery taking the amount of time it did. When it eventually turned up the main dishes seemed to be half portions with hardly any chicken or lamb in them.

I tea bagged the madras sauce and burnt my sack. Other than that it was a great dinner

I have no problem with being late it was Saturday night but Would have liked an update I added a note requesting lamb nagga curry ( menu offered lamb or chicken ) the curry delivered was chicken. The food was bland and previously when we’ve ordered curry from other places we usually have two or more free popadoms tasty bites don’t do this Bottom line we won’t order from tasty bites again
