We fancied a NYs day takeaway and decided to go For a Thai. We often order chinese (elsewhere) but decided to go for a change. Both of us agreed the food was fantastic, was delivered pretty quickly and tasted super fresh. The salt and pepper chicken was absolutely delightful, and the Pad See Ew was super tasty. Even the egg fried rice was lovely. Will be ordering again 100%

I ordered from here online I am writing this review before I’ve even finished eating because it was so good I wanted to let you know! The food is amazing and they even gave me a free iced tea!

First time ordering and honestly the food was abysmal. Very little flavour, very little protein and tasted rushed. Also needed to use bathroom several times in the night. We ordered Tom Yum Soup with prawns, Thai Red Curry and Scissor Noodles. Scissor Noodles was horrible - only ate a quarter of it. It was advertised as spicy but had very little spice of flavour. If anything it tasted sweet. It was full of cabbage and peppers which were soft and mushy and mixed in texturewise with rhe noodles. Id say there was the same amount of mushy cabbage as there was noodles and 5 prawns in total. It was sweet and tangy and there was more vegetable than noodles. It needed to be cooked longer and with more flavour. The tom yum soup vase was nice but it had 3 prawns and full of cabbage and brocolli. Never had cabbage in Tom Yum soup. The base was nice enough though. The thai Red Curry just tasted of coconut milk. It wasn't red in colour nor were there chilli's or spices. All I could taste was coconut milk. It needed more flavour and to be cooked for longer. Also needed to use the bathroom several times in the night. Personally I think everything undercooked and incorrect.ingredients that may have gone off that gave it the tangy flavour. All in all it was £25 wasted. I wouldn't reccomend, better Thai food around.

This place has some pretty tasty Far Eastern cuisine. The Chow Mein and Yaki Udon are my personal favourites and of course you can't go wrong with either Katsu Curry and Tempura prawns. Keep it up guys! Oh and it's Halal for all you Muslim foodies out there.

Took Take away of three different curries. Unfortunately the maximum portions of chicken pieces ( small piece)given in each box was only three( 3) I paid 30 pounds in total for 3 curries. Total chicken pices were only seven. It was a complete rip off and there were dishonesty here. They shouldn't have done that when customer pays nearly 10 pound for each item. I am utterly disappointed and won't recommend them at all. Hopefully they amend their behaviour

Great quality food. I've ordered from them many times. Recently I've been ordering takeaway through UberEats. Their chow mein noodles and red curry are the top dishes. The red curry is one of the best I've had. Really flavoursome and a good portion. Could do with a bit more chicken pieces but the curry was 10/10. The chow mein is incredible. Very tasty and generous portion. Their sweet and sour chicken curry is pretty nice. I would've liked a few more chicken pieces. Felt like there was a lot of large veggies.

Food are amazing. Long time didint had such good Tom Yum soup. Really 10 out 10 food.

Tried all curries which is the best thing i have ever had. And i can never forget the mouth watering spicy udon noodle. Thank you for providing such a delicious food.

Worst place ever take sooo long for delivery

Absolutely awful food! Ordered via Uber Eats on 19th August 2023. Chicken tasted disgusting, which was also rock hard, tough and chewy. The rice was undercooked, hard and crunchy. As a business you should be ashamed if that's the quality of food you feel is acceptable. I feel sorry for any future customers that use your service. Uber eats fully refunded us after the videos and pictures we sent to them. They couldn't apologise enough. *EDIT* (Added 20th August 2023) Last night, both myself and my wife started experiencing distressing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. These symptoms not only ruined our evening but also caused significant physical discomfort and distress. I am truly shocked and dismayed by this incident, as I had expected nothing but the highest standards of food safety and hygiene from a reputed restaurant like yours. It is clear that there has been a serious lapse in food preparation and handling procedures, which has resulted in this unfortunate situation!

Hi Asia Villa Nice of you to come back to me regarding my poor review that I gave you a YEAR ago. It would of been good if you showed some integrity and owned up to your mistakes. I also find it hilarious how you have analysed the photo and said the 'meat' was vegan. You can tell from the photo it wasn't so unless you've got the most realistic vegan mock meat and it comes with muscle fibres and ligaments then hats off to you 👏🏽. However this was not the case and it's quite insulting you'd think this was a false accusation, I even sent the food back with the taxi when you refunded me £10 for acknowledging your error. The only false information is that you take cross contamination seriously which you didn't a year ago and didn't understand the overall spoiled experience after waiting 2 hours for delivery. You even admitted that there was a mistake however I bet you'll come back with 'this didn't happen'. If your service and staff took this seriously I would have been more understanding and wouldn't have been so harsh with my review. We've ordered from you two times before this and were perfectly happy with the food, in this case mistakes happen and the severity of the situation and resolution was very poor. My experience was completely factual and if at the time you offered to take this seriously and make this right instead of JUST refunding £10 for the contaminated food even though the whole order was unfortunately thrown in the bin, we would have not gone down this route. I also don't blame you for lying in your response because you're defending your business. Over 2000+ people have viewed the photos I've uploaded I'll save anyone reading your next response e.g. - you're making false accusations - we take our food prep seriously - your photos are vegan 🤣 (very clear they aren't!) What a disappointment. I order through Uber Eats PAPAYA SALAD £9.50. The size was more of the starter instead main course. Was missing cherry tomatoes, carrots shavings, not mentioning missing shrimps. To much sauce for that tiny portion.The customer service, phone call as well Messenger communication with Asia Villa was really poor. Before you order take away consider pic up you order yourself. You can check your order and rectified it if you are not happy with quality prevent all hustle I'm facing right now getting my refund back.

I ordered today Tom Yam vermicelli and I ask them not spicy. I explained that order I had first time was very spicy I can’t eat that. And I take my second order today and what I found when I come home with the Oder and when I opened I found this again, see attached pictures. I’m so disappointed, I ask them do not do it spicy, I have a bad stomach and can’t eat spicy food. And now second time what I order in this restaurant I just spent money and didn’t get what I ask. Probably it’s my last order. Thanks

Just picked up our takeaway. Boxes a lot smaller than normal & chocked was very hard and chewy !! Been coming here for years but this one takeaway was not a great experience

Delicious food, and very generous portions.

Ordered the Thai chicken wings and Chilli Yaki Udon (chicken)! Very tasty! The wings were a bit oily but still nice to eat. Portion sizes were good. The Yaki Udon wasnt too spice and had good flavours, lots of chicken.

Ordered some takeout yesterday. Very surprised by the flavors. Everything was delicious and had its own taste. Very good quantity and well packaged.

10 quid for 6 nugget pieces of chicken and rice. Robbery. First time I ordered was given a lot more but seems portions have been cut back a lot.

I have ordered takeaway from this fantastic food place twice this week and I am amazed at the quality and quantity of food . What a exquisite restaurant . I will return again and again . The chicken gyoza with dipping sauce is delicious. Both noodle dishes I ordered are fantastic and the wings are delicious . I cannot fault this place at all . Top tier. Thank you asia villa

Had a very bad experience. Food was smelling and all over the oil smell. Smells like they fry Sea food and veg and meat items in the same oil. Many other small fast food restaurants are quite a better place than this. Highly not recommended.

The food here is really good and I have never had a bad experience. The menu is more limited than other restaurants in the area but everything is really tasty.

The food ordered was totally different that how we expect. The chicken was just fried and full of grass not like before with souce, crispy and very tasty. The pasta made just with some chilli hot souce and with no taste at all. Not recommended

I came for the good reviews Staff are friendly and accommodating. I might have ordered the wrong thing , the pho was not quite right- the pho was not fully cooked, still a bit hard and the seafood was definitely frozen and tasted not fresh, It’s basically a mediocre bowl of pho with a little bit of seafood. I finished it to avoid food waste. I reckoned it was not worth £10 for what it was. Sorry I will not come back again. Two stars for the service only.

I personally thought the food here was terrific, i ordered a special fried rice and satay chiken. The rice was impeccable, the satay was a tiny bit dry for me but nevertheless it was throughly enjoyed. The peanut sauce and this wierd chiilie sauce thing was absolutely fab. If they sold in bottles i would defo buy. I ate here twice, once i ordered in store and once home delivery. Satisfied both times. Guys, try this place. Thank me later

I've been ordering from Asia Villa Romford for almost 3 years now, as often as I can afford to really! Strongly suggest the green curry with tofu, I ask for extra bamboo and they're extremely generous with it 🥰 Also the vegetable gyozas! Can't say much for the rest of the menu as I haven't tried it (I'm vegan) but if you want some curry with LOTS of flavour, lots of spice, and large portion sizes, go to Asia Villa! When I met my fiance, he would not touch any food with flavour; he would only eat pizzas and burgers. But even HE tried the green curry, and loved it. Now he always steals my food when I order here.😾 Nope, they didn't pay me to write this review. I just saw the 1 star reviews, and they genuinely shocked me as a regular. 5 stars every time I order. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💕

We usually get our orders delivered from here. Itd my favourite local thai place. Would highly recommend yaki udon noodles, singaporean noodles and katsu curry. The food is always piping hot and delicious.

Order takes almost 2 hours, vegan food contains chicken. Complain about this that we're life long veggies and this is completely unacceptable. They can only offer £10 refund or resend that main after it's put us off the whole order and mrs is sick - pretty pathetic if you ask me. Rest of the food went in the bin. Poor customer service and will never order from there again. 👎🏽👎🏽

Sincerely, the best tasting Thai food in town. Green curry is very very spicy, masaman curry is exquisite. The flavours are incredible and the food tastes authentic. We always order from here.

Fantastic Thai food! The starters in particular are excellent (our personal favourites are the duck spring rolls, the chicken wings and the red curry). The service is also excellent - very friendly staff and the food is ready super-fast. This has become a regular for us!

To start with I am gluten free, so I rang the restaurant and asked the lady if they had any gluten free options, she told me the pad Thai was gluten free. So I then ordered the pad Thai and katsu curry for my boyfriend. After I have told her my order she then tells me, actually it might not be gluten free because of the oil. Which I’m fine with as I just have an intolerance. When the pad Thai arrived, the noodles were definitely not gluten free as I had eaten 3 mouth fulls of it and I could tell instantly. Those noodles have put me off noodles forever, and I have been sick for 3 days. Could you not just make one dish that is completely gluten free? And maybe train your staff properly in regards to allergies. Too many places do not take allergies seriously. And for the record my boyfriend did not enjoy the katsu curry. (And the satay chicken was hoorendous)

Tried this place for the first time, I highly recommend it. food was amazing, very delicious and flavoursome. I would recommend that you call the restaurant directly and order food for delivery as there is. No delivery charge and that the prices are less than just eat, the same meal on just eat including £3 delivery came up to £6 more. 5*

Great tasting food, the portion size was excellent but the size has been reduced.

I have ordered twice from here in the last two months. Unfortunately although the food is very tasty (I usually order the Pad Thai and Nasi Goreng) it’s drowning in oil and upsets my stomach. On the second order (via uber eats) I asked for it to be less oily, but they missed my order instructions and it still arrived floating in oil. What a shame as I do like the flavours and spice. But shall not be ordering again. Perhaps I may try one last time going there in person to eat, and see if they can follow my request to reduce the level of oil.

One of the best takeaways in the area. You can’t go wrong with them, consistently high quality and very tasty!

Have just had a very disappointing meal it was cold the calamari was stuck together in a lump. the spring rolls and dumplings were over cooked. most of it went into the bin. A very expensive meal

My favourite local Thai takeaway

Couldn’t fault it. Prawn Pad Thai superb, Nasi Goreng also excellent, as were the Chicken Gyoza. And that was more than enough for two. Quite honestly some of the best Asian takeaway I’ve ever eaten and seemed to arrive just after I placed the order (although must have been 25 mins I guess). Strong recommend.

Such a shame that this place is quite possibly the most disorganised restaurant I have ever come across. After ordering from there regularly for last 6 weeks having to collect they then decided to deliver as I was collecting my meal last Friday. Tonight I ordered a delivery via the website, I contacted them 60 minutes later to check the progress of my order following their email confirmation only to be told they don't deliver to my address. Such a shame because the food is good.

I would not use this restaurant again. My food was dry, it tasted like it had been cooked days ago, then warmed up.

The food here really is a cut above. May I recommend the salt and pepper calamari starter and the red duck curry. Pad Thai is also delicious! Good value for money.. recommended!

The restaurant seems to have gone downhill recently. Tonight we experienced tough, chewy and a very very spicy massaman curry (should be mild!) The Katsu sauce was also watery and tasteless. Expensive for nothing. We reported this to the restaurant and they said they must’ve have given us the wrong order and they would send a replacement which has obviously not arrived. We wont be ordering again that’s for sure.

Very good food. All arrived nice and hot. Delivery took 2 hours but to be fair it was valentine's night during the covid pandemic. Mild curry was very very hot!

Just ordered a takeaway.. Omg so amazing!.. I love Thai my daughter loves Katsu, what better place then to order both meals from here. Delivery was prompt and food was fresh and hot.. flavours are really nice and the portion is adequate... will be ordering again and once lockdown is over will hopefully visit to eat in....

Massaman curry states mild on the menu, this was not mild. Could only eat a couple of mouth fulls. I also phoned up and she said if I would like it mild I needed to have specified but it states on the menu mild. Disappointed!

Received a tub full of mussels and one prawn with noodles. Don't think the food is bad just found it odd perhaps no care was taken. Might give it another chance just not anytime soon.

Fantastic value and was value for money. I tried 3 dishes from 3 countries in one order to set a challenge and they came out on top. Good sized portions with authentic taste to match. Delivery was super quick - 20 mins(through deliveroo). Will order again!

Closed but still took our money for the food

My family and I ordered from here and they took the order after saying they were taking orders, they took our money and never delivered. The shop was completely closed when we went to the restaurant. We are unsure of the situation but all we know is they did not deliver.

Had left instructions for mild spicy food. Still it was the spiciest dish I have tried. Could not eat more than few bites even though I was really hungry. Cashed the restaurant, they said they can't replace the order. Also the prawn curry only had 4 pieces of prawns.

Delicious foods and amazing service. Due to pandemic , they are doing great take away service and staffs were so friendly. I would like to give Them 10* stars but TA allows me only 5* would definitely come again and simply the tastiest

The packaging and delivery time was ok. But the food was so sweet. I’ve had loads of Thai dishes from many places so I am aware of the flavours. The dishes from here were so sweet I couldn’t have more than a spoonful.

Had order from " just eat " chiken katsu carry tasless just dry small piece of chiken on massive amount of rice and tasteless sous for over 8£ . Ice cream was in same bag as hot food so its melted and it was one scoop instead of 2 promised ones for also £ 3.5. Demi very was Kate.

We popped in after a couple of beers, never even knew it was there, had a great katsu and rice noodles, simple, no fuss but tasty, lady who served us was lovely !

Placed an online order for £23 but the restaurant never delivered the food. I called them multiple times - no answer at the phone, I emailed them. WHAT IS GOING ON? My money has been taken, you have kept me waiting for more than an hour now and there’s no answer or response at the phone.

The menu seems good and it has good reviews however highly disappointed. Prawn tempura was frozen rather than fresh. Curry was very sweet/salty and tasted like my own when I've attempted to poorly make at home. It was not authentic at all and no wonder as it isn't cooked by Thai chefs. The thing it has going for it is that it's the only thing of its kind in Romford and staff are polite and friendly. Take your money and head to Hornchurch. Thai Lanna and Sukothai are both tasty and authentic.

Awful customer service. The woman who works there is so rude. I got sent the wrong order, I called to ask for the correct food. She shouted and accused me of ordering the wrong things and basically told me to stick it. I will never order from here again

We ordered takeaway from this place few days ago. It was just 2 starters and 2 mains, took more than an hour to deliver. That's be fine if the food was tasty. But it was a horror; Chicken Katsu Curry: chicken was dry and the gravy wasn't think and it was oily and runny in dark colour, never seen such a thing. I could only guess it was made with leftover oil and soy sauce and whatever's about to expire. Nasi goreng, supposed to be a flavourful, slightly tangy fried rice was very bland tasteless. chicken pieces felt like rubber and the fried egg could be used as a chinese throwing star. If at all I can say something good, its portion size and its huge, or it felt like that as we could only eat few spoonfuls. Their policy seems "We can't win you with our quality, fine. We'll smother you with quantity" Unfortunately we threw the food away before any pictures could be taken.

South East Asian restaurant within walking distance of our home, did not even know it was there until this week. We were in Thailand in February, food was as good here tonight. Enjoyed a selection of starters, followed by Red and Green curries and Nasi Goreng. Lovely food and a great waiting team. We will be back soon.

Nice little restaurant with very good food for the price we paid. All of our plates were clean when the waitress came to collect them. I can easily recommend this place.

Sat night and searched Trip Advisior for a good takeaway in Romford. Ate in Asia Villa (Thai restaurant near station) last year when it was relatively new and found the people very friendly but the food very average, especially for the price. However, having read all of the reviews I was pleased to hear we had a decent Thai restsurant in Romford after all. So £30 later for 2 starters and 2 mains, delivered with 15 mins of ordering. the calamari and chicken wings were both very bland, nothing thai flavoured about wings at all. The phad thai noodles looked liked they had been cooked hours earlier and left in the box for delivery, lucky us, no woner it was so quick. And the red curry was so runny and also not a great flavour. We ste the starters although very unimpressed. Served a small amount of the mains each to share between the two us and bsrely touched them as neither were very nice. I agree that the portion sizes were good, but give me quality over quantity anytime. Sorry Asia Villa, you are nice people and local to me but I gave you a 2nd chance based on more recent reviews, I won'tbe giving you a 3rd. Total waste of £30. Better to go to Sukhothai in Hornchurch any day.

Visited here for a spot of dinner. I had the calamari and chicken katsu curry. It was tasty and the service was good and reasonably priced. I’d recommend if you are in Romford.

This has become a regular treat for us. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly and the service is good. The restaurant is a bit basic but it’s great to go and feel relaxed. 100% recommend Asia villa

My wife and I were looking for a pre-theatre meal before visiting the Brookside Theatre to see Morgan and West The Time Travelling Magicians and chanced upon this little gem. Practically all of their Thai/Burmese themed dishes come with a veggie or vegan option and our veggie Pad Thais with tofu were absolutely delicious. The service was also spot on really friendly but not overbearing. Set us up nicely for a really fun evening of jaw dropping magic.

Just back from Thailand and still savouring the amazing food there. I wanted to try Thai food here. I googled this restaurant and ordered a home delivery and the food was delicious. Very authentic. I had the Thai green curry which had just right amount of spice not too hot but a good kick. Will definitely be a regular now, loved it.

Was a loyal customer. Ordered chilli chicken yaki udon. Whole dish smelt and tasted intensely of fish. Very different from how it had been before. Phoned and the response I received was 'What do you want me to do about it that's how it tastes?', was asked if I don't eat fish. I do but didn't order it. Should have been given a new dish. Lost a customer.

Great gastronomic rest bite from the rest of the normal run of the mill eateries around Romford, a warm welcome from the ( presumed owner), lovely ambience, good quick attentive service, prices mediocre, not overly expensive nor bargain basement, will go back again, I've never liked drinks served in a can at a table, No ice especially on a warm evening, but not a bad experience, 8 out of 10, but those little details need to be re- evaluated.

It used to have the best noodles and katsu curry. I used to takeaway every weekend but moved away a couple of weeks ago. I was passing by last night and I decided to grab some delicious noodles but I was left gravely disappointed. The noodles weren't the homemade, succulent and slightly chewy pieces of heaven like I remember. The sauce was off. The katsu curry was watery. Wouldn't come here again.

Had a Takeaway last night. Can honestly say that it was by far the best I’ve ever had. No sweaty food. Restaurant standard. I’m only using these guys from now on.

We order takeaway from here about once a month and have eaten in. The Pad Thai and the Green Curry are pretty danm good. Other items we have had have similarly been good. It's fairly priced and service has always been quick! recommended.

As an early dinner I was not surprised to be the only person in the restaurant but I was made to feel quite welcome.
