The best restaurants in St Andrew's Havering London

Had a takeaway, awful, nowhere near how it used to be. Won’t be going back! Sticky rice and the eggs in it looked a bit old in places. A couple of mouthfuls then went in the bin.

Fabulous birthday lunch with 12 friends. Delicious food and good portion. Great lunchtime price. Service excellent and Cecil and JJ were great. Really enjoyed and will return.

Lovely place to eat, especially on a nice sunny day! Nice food, reasonably priced, and friendly staff. The dog loves her sausage treats too!

No salad included with the whole chicken platter, I’ve ordered here multiple times and the price has increased but food has reduced. Sad.

Amazing food, never fails to disappoint

We had been looking for a nice venue to have cocktails and drinks in Hornchurch. We originally visited the venue next door and were told we could not solely have drinks , that food needed to be purchased. We done a complete U-turn and entered this amazing establishment. We knew we were in the right place from the moment, we were greeted by the server/ manager whose personality was contagious. He escorted us to a great table in the impressive modern lookong wine bar/ restaurant. The low playing music, had great tunes and set the mood perfectly. When we saw the drinks menu, there was so much choice in terms of cocktails/ mocktails. We went for a Bob Marley which had a great balance of alcohol and flavour. The prices of the spirits were very reasonable. When we paid the bill we were given a free cocktail shot. After that we felt we wanted a quick finger food snack and opted for the onion rings. When we went to pay the waiter said it was on the house which was again a nice surprise. As mentioned the decor was amazing and in the toilets were some truly stunning art work. I will definitely be visiting Onyx again as it exceeded our expectations. .

Nice surroundings friendly atmosphere good service

Always hot , always delicious , and always gorgeous food. I order from here when I can't be bothered to cook so i order Indian food. This place always delivers fresh, hot and tasty food.. I've never had a bad dish from here. Staff are always polite , helpful and friendly. Its definitely our favourite. The menu is extensive and I do try to order something different everytime and it's always been good. Thank you

excellent service and food as always

Having been a customer for a long time, tonight sadly we were let down by our waitress. She clearly wasn't happy in her job. Very rude and argumentative. First bad experience sadly since it's been established there.

Such a wonderful atmosphere and the best tasting Thai food I’ve eaten. Exemplary service and I highly recommend. I will definitely be visiting again!

Been here a couple of times in the past few months and both times felt very welcome from the staff. The food is delicious. Really uses a good blend of spice and heat rather than just heat that you get at some restaurants.

Excellent service by great members of staff, good food, unfortunately other diners were very loud, a drawback with British restaurants in general.

Nice venue and decent food from a rather limited menu, however this was negated due to the rushed service we were unfortunate to encounter. Our table was booked to celebrate an 18th birthday at 7pm. Advised at the time of booking that our party of 14 would need to give the table back by 9pm which we agreed to. At 8.10pm we were presented with the bill and told we needed to leave within the next 20 minutes to accommodate the next booking. For this reason I would neither recommend or return.
