Lovely meal for my mum’s birthday. Food was great and lovely atmosphere. Lasagne was as cheesy as you could hope! Had a live singer too

Bank holiday weekend really fancied a roast dined here and must say the food and service was impeccable waiter was on form had a singer who was amazing also would defo return and recommend

Went on Saturday just gone and was very impressed with the food. Opted for the buffalo Cauliflower wings which was one of the best starters I’ve had. Very tasty bolognese main course too. Waiter was a really nice guy on Saturday too, very attentive and shook hands with us when we left. Will definitely be coming back.

Well, what can I say! From the moment we walked in, the experience was good. Welcomed with a smile, shown to our table for ten, not rushed to order, and polite but friendly. The food, fresh, well cooked and tasty. The menu was very varied. Something for everyone. It also had chefs suggestions for the sides. To give you the best experience. Music playing in the background which was ok, but one of our group mentioned the music wasn’t her choice and he guessed our era and changed the music to accommodate us. What a great host. Everything that came out of the kitchen was well cooked, beautifully presented and tasty. We will definitely go back.

What a fab place to go to! Absolutely brilliant night out with friends. Our waiter Kay was very attentive and couldn't do enough to make our evening as enjoyable as possible. The food was amazing and has to be one of the best restaurants we've been to. Can't recommend this place high enough and will definitely go back.

Went to 80’s brunch with the fantastic Rebecca Wallace been there a few times now, she’s absolutely fantastic gets everyone up and involved, such a great atmosphere. Food is great and the service is really on point. We did the unlimited Prosecco brunch. My fifth time there!! They constantly top up drinks, also same if you upgrade to cocktails 🥂

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! They give you a rules sheet as you get there !! As soon as your two hours is up they remove your bottles of bubbly that you've paid for from your table!! Also to mention the people that aren't drinking have to pay the same price and can't order before the two hours start for people that arent drinking. My friend ordered a sparkling water before the brunch because she wasn't drinking and was told to pay an extra 2.80!!!!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Book at shorties 2 doors down the road an amazing brunch and arent jobs worths!!! Avoid avoid avoid staff are awful !!!! DJ was great but I go brunches all the time and this was the worst I've been too.!

Had a plate of calamari and a cup of hot chocolate with oat milk and whip cream. They were both amazing and the service was great!!

This was our first visit to Onyx and it definitely won’t be our last. The service was impeccable from the moment we arrived. Our waiter Kay was so smiley and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The decor is beautiful with candles on the table making it very cosy. The food was amazing, the crispy chilli beef 👌🏻 and Kay recommended the red velvet cheese cake for desert and OMG, amazing. One of the best cheese cakes I’ve ever had. The presentation of the food was great too. My husbands steak came out a big stone like slab. To me all these little details makes a big deference to the enjoyment of your visit. Fridays nights they have a singer in and she was great too, singing all the oldies. It wasn’t overpowering, you could still hear each other and chat if you wanted to . Would highly recommend.

I don’t think I would be returning to onyx, my friend and I ordered starters to share as our mains with a side of loads fries. We got the tacos 3 ways which actually isn’t a taco it’s shredded lettuce with meat on top which I thought was strange and the bolognaise meat was cold. Service was good and food was ok but I wasn’t overall impressed and it was quite loud even when it wasn’t busy

What can i say!!..had the most amazing experience for Boxing day with my mother.. the food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant.....shout out to Kay our waiter...he went above and beyond...was the best!!!...would highly recommend...Kay was excellent...and would go back alone, for the service we received!!..Thank u Onyx!!!

Came here for a dinner with my friends Friday evening and honestly had such an amazing experience. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, it was busy but they didn’t take long serving us and getting our drinks at all. The cocktails were the best such a wide range of drinks they do. They had a live singer and after we ate we was able to get up and dance which I thought was a brilliant atmosphere. Food was great too!
