Lamb kebabs smelled like they were off Lamb curry, meat was tough, really tough. Chicken shaslik tasted ok but there was more onion that chicken in the box. Rice and naan was ok.

The food was almost all thrown away, the tikka was grossly sweet. The lamb bhuna was mid. I don’t have clue how this place has so many positive reviews. Don’t believe the hype. It was rubbish.

We had the set meal deal for two, with a special request for different naan breads(we paid the difference). The lamb buhna and chicken tikka masala was especially good, very well cooked. And the king prawn puri was so tasty! Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering from here again 👌👌

My daughter booked through an app which gave us 20% off. When paying was told not through December, showed them the app still wouldn’t honour it. Also noticed on here to book a table it’s showing 20% off in December. Good luck with that. Service was extremely slow & restaurant wasn’t busy. Food medioca. Won’t be going back.

Have used Aroma since moving here over 30 years ago. Always had a good meal. This time the chicken tikka masala was bit overcooked and possibly reheated. Would also be nice if they did more options for set meals.

I ordered a lamb tikka dansak and onion bhaji through Just Eat, and it was a very disappointing meal. The lamb was extremely tough and tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly made. The rice also seemed old, lacking freshness. The naan bread was okay, but the onion bhaji was overcooked, and while the puri tasted alright, it didn’t make up for the overall quality of the meal. I’ve ordered from here many times before, but after this experience, I certainly won’t be returning. Very disappointing.

Meat was chewy clearly reheated same as the naan bread… very disappointing after using several times in the past successfully… no excuses for this sort of food for the price paid

Food is lovely here. But they serve lidle wine for £20+. Even when we pointed it out, they laughed. Shame because the food is really tasty.

We paid so much for food that was inedible, there was no taste or spice, very bland for indian food. I called the restaurant to complain about the food and the fact one of the dishes did not say it contained coconut and sugar making it sweet. They did prepare it to make it a little spicier and without coconut, but it was still very mild and by the time it came everything else was cold, ended up binning the lot ...

Lovely food! Still piping hot when delivered from Romford to Dagenham every time so far (And I've ordered a few times) The Chicken tikka masala balti is very nice, all decent portions too, unlike so many like the clay oven, which is way overpriced, and nowhere near as nice as here. Decent Indians round here are few and far between, like Chinese, which is all too often well below average, but Aroma's food is excellent! and the containers come labelled to!

Food when it eventually arrived was very nice albeit luke warm. Order shown as delivered at 7:25 when it actually arrived just before 8pm after 2 calls and one text to the restaurant. Won’t be ordering again as they weren’t honest about the delay

Food delivered on time and all tasted great. Only issues were that I ordered meal deal B but was given meal deal A instead also when I bit into the chicken there was a piece of broken stick/bone still inside which scratched my mouth.

Food was very late, delivery time kept getting pushed back. Phoned restaurant after waiting an hour and half, they said on its way will be there in 5 minutes for it to arrive 15 minutes cold and soggy!

Food arrived 45 mins late cold obviously!However once reheated was nice.But due to lateness cannot recommend.There are plenty around that manage to deliver order on time and hot🤔

Aroma never disappoints with food taste. love their lamb curries and chicken curries. very authentic taste. My first go to for indian food. the spinach and chickpea rice and all types of rice are really awesome. Every single curry have taste that satisfies the taste buds

Delivery good. Portions good. Tikka masala sauce really thick and Chana masala tasted of so much salt was inedible. Rest of meal was ok but wouldn’t recommended above dishes.

Seven friends and I went here on a Monday night - I am sure that they were glad to see us! It has certainly improved. We all had the banquet meal for £20, but of course, after a few beers and poppadoms and chutney, the bill was £35 each. We all had the mixed starters. My chicken jalfrezi was spicy and hot. My friend had a naga chicken, which blew his head off! The portions were good and service was prompt and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We'll worth visiting.

i never normally post reveiws but ive been going to this restaurant for like 10 years, including my family members and its always the best!

from an Indian takeaway or restaurant you expect the sweet, spice and savoury flavours and coulor in the dishes prepare but with this order it was bland and tasteless, there was not sweet or salty flavour, the only thing that had flavour was the sauce on the vindaloo with was spicy but had no substance in the actual dishes, I ordered a garlic nan that had no taste of garlic, how is that possible, to sum up I'm just disappointed that this restaurant has fallen so far from previous order I've made

Went for dinner with some friends and I have to say I was so surprised at how this place has turned itself around. Our waitress was just delightful as wer the other wait staff. We had the banquet menu and it was so good. Prawn purée was the best I ever had, the chicken shashlick was fresh and delicious. All our party enjoyed their food so will definitely return. Last year was awful but now it’s a different story. Well done for the turn around
