The food came 15 minutes early so that was a bonus, however the food quality wasn’t great. The jalfrezi and saag weren’t bad, but the starters were terrible. The mixed starter and tikka duck were ridiculously dry!

Been coming here for years, and was my first choice of take away for my Birthday. Never again will I risk wasting my money, everything except the popadoms was vile. The shami kebab was full of gristle, I couldn’t eat it, my butter chicken was tough and I left it and my partner’s rezala was vile, the chicken was like boot leather and the mince in the sauce was obviously the same mince they made the shami kebab with, full of gristle! To top it off the peshwari naan was burnt!

I was really impressed. I used to order from the vindaloo in collier row but they don’t deliver to my new address in Dagenham so I ordered here and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken korma and chicken tikka masala were the best I’ve ever had. The popadoms were really lovely. The only thing I weren’t too keen on is the onion bajis as I think the vindaloo ones were better. These ones were a bit hard instead of crispy. I would have liked more dips with the popadoms. Overall very happy <3

Food was just as good as in the restaurant. Lamb was soft fell apart! Chicken tikka cooked perfectly. Decent portion size as well. 10/10.

Usually have ordered from here and been good before, but delivery was late today and food a little cold.

The food arrived an hour after the expected time given on the app. The food was cold and below average. I tried chasing the order over the phone but the person was quite rude and unapologetic and moaning that they have hundreds of orders. The food didn’t taste fresh. The starters ( chicken tikka and lamb tikka) were not tender or soft and probably cooked much earlier during the day or even before that. Overall it was a very bad experience. I won’t be ordering from this place again!

Lamb kebabs smelled like they were off Lamb curry, meat was tough, really tough. Chicken shaslik tasted ok but there was more onion that chicken in the box. Rice and naan was ok.

The food was almost all thrown away, the tikka was grossly sweet. The lamb bhuna was mid. I don’t have clue how this place has so many positive reviews. Don’t believe the hype. It was rubbish.

We had the set meal deal for two, with a special request for different naan breads(we paid the difference). The lamb buhna and chicken tikka masala was especially good, very well cooked. And the king prawn puri was so tasty! Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be ordering from here again 👌👌

Great night in zarana on Friday . Food was excellent . Perfect spice . Owner took time to come and talk to us which was very nice . Big portions and jalfrazi was made to our order of not too spicy . Definitely recommend as a great place for an Indian in hir church

My daughter booked through an app which gave us 20% off. When paying was told not through December, showed them the app still wouldn’t honour it. Also noticed on here to book a table it’s showing 20% off in December. Good luck with that. Service was extremely slow & restaurant wasn’t busy. Food medioca. Won’t be going back.

Have used Aroma since moving here over 30 years ago. Always had a good meal. This time the chicken tikka masala was bit overcooked and possibly reheated. Would also be nice if they did more options for set meals.

I ordered a lamb tikka dansak and onion bhaji through Just Eat, and it was a very disappointing meal. The lamb was extremely tough and tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly made. The rice also seemed old, lacking freshness. The naan bread was okay, but the onion bhaji was overcooked, and while the puri tasted alright, it didn’t make up for the overall quality of the meal. I’ve ordered from here many times before, but after this experience, I certainly won’t be returning. Very disappointing.

Meat was chewy clearly reheated same as the naan bread… very disappointing after using several times in the past successfully… no excuses for this sort of food for the price paid

Food is lovely here. But they serve lidle wine for £20+. Even when we pointed it out, they laughed. Shame because the food is really tasty.

We paid so much for food that was inedible, there was no taste or spice, very bland for indian food. I called the restaurant to complain about the food and the fact one of the dishes did not say it contained coconut and sugar making it sweet. They did prepare it to make it a little spicier and without coconut, but it was still very mild and by the time it came everything else was cold, ended up binning the lot ...

Lovely food! Still piping hot when delivered from Romford to Dagenham every time so far (And I've ordered a few times) The Chicken tikka masala balti is very nice, all decent portions too, unlike so many like the clay oven, which is way overpriced, and nowhere near as nice as here. Decent Indians round here are few and far between, like Chinese, which is all too often well below average, but Aroma's food is excellent! and the containers come labelled to!

Food when it eventually arrived was very nice albeit luke warm. Order shown as delivered at 7:25 when it actually arrived just before 8pm after 2 calls and one text to the restaurant. Won’t be ordering again as they weren’t honest about the delay
