The best restaurants in Broad Green Croydon London

Really disappointed with my recent order here. I got Pongal and Vada for breakfast, and it was just bad. The Pongal didn’t taste fresh at all—like it was sitting in the fridge from the day before. And the chutney? I couldn’t even eat it. Not sure how you mess up something so basic. I’ve tried their weekend buffet before and it was okay, but this weekday breakfast was on a completely different (and much worse) level. If you’re thinking about starting your day with food from here, I’d just say—maybe think twice. No one wants their morning to begin with regret. And definitely don’t go by the Uber Eats rating—it really didn’t reflect the quality I got

Very clean, healthy and tasty food. Spacious place to chill with friends and family. Highly recommended to everyone.

The best pie mash you could possibly wish for! And very pleasant surroundings and company. I only wish I had stumbled upon Cockney’s before now.

Service was great from peter made a fantastic coffee.

Staff were nice but the food was terrible! We had chicken parma and ribs. The ribs were tasteless despite the sauce on them. Shame as I have good memories of F&B. Hope it's just this specific location as opposed to the entire franchise.

We came to the Boulevard for a friend's birthday celebration. Our organisation for this was not " top notch" but Lubek simply said: Leave it to me. He served up platters of the most delicious food, including delightful roasted onion puff pastry vol-au-vents, grilled feta on gorgeously light toasted ciabatta, and the most fragrant and tasty whitebait. Lubek you and your colleague Bebe absolutely nailed it. Thank you!!

Food is very good. Unusual flavours for London, and excellent prices. Staff charming. Atmosphere? It's a small takeaway so nothing special.

Purchased peri chicken burgers and fries amounted to £12.47, disgusting price and chicken. Soggy fries and shit food. Never ever eating here. Poor staff quality and usually dont understand english very well. Over priced and very poor. Dated 19th sept 2024.

Foods better than the Watford one but the tapanyaki here isn't all that even though they have two separate hot plates, one for meat and one for seafood! They keep some of the food under a lid on the hot plate, instead of cooking it straight from fresh, so everything comes over cooked and over seasoned but apart from that all good! Parking right outside!
