Food all tasted the same.....Bland. you do get a variety of options but it was pointless as everything tasted the same. Not much choice for vegetarians either. Best section was the fruit.

If I could put zero star, I would. It is absolutely terrible, the food for me, was tasteless. My family did like the lamb sauce dish. The tikka masala wasn't good enough. Their service is so bad.... Great for families though.

If there is a heaven when we die, my version of that would probably be unlimited table time in this place and being able to eat everything I want without gaining weight. Blows Jimmy Spices out of the water, that's for sure. Unlimited poke bowls, sushi, takoyaki, onigiri, chicken tenders, fried rice, char siu pork, ice cream etc? Yes please!

Terrible customer service at the front desk. On top of that we arrived at 20:31 and was told that the last entry was at 20:30 even though Google states other. Even though I must of eaten at this restaurant 30 odd times and stayed loyal even though I had received bad food a few times i will not be going back. That was the last straw Team Eubank

Lots of variety of English and Asian food. There was plenty of space to move around. We were gently prodded to leave after an hour and a half, which was plenty to time to fill up.

Absolutely shocking service for my grandsons birthday,he was 12yrs,the woman on the desk I believe she is polish was asking for his birth certificate for proof.He was 3 inches below the height sign. This place is a disgrace it's like getting into airport security. Atmosphere zero. Trying to contact head office low and behold there is not one. Typical. The women on the desk is in the wrong job I'm afraid she's miserable and did not understand what we where trying to ask. Please spend your money elsewhere lots of wonderfull freshly served buffets around.

I've been coming here for years, JRC is the kind of restaurant that caters to all, from dietary requirements to fussy eaters. You have set time, which is plenty as you don't need to wait for your food as it's an open buffet although I'd make sure your ready to eat as it can work out quite pricey just for one plate, I believe it's £25/28 depending on which day you go. I definitely recommend. It was a great experience with an incredible selection of food

Lovely buffet. I enjoyed the meal but at that price, two hours should be given as some people are not focused on eating but also catching up with family and friends. People talk and eat and before you know it, you are reminded you only have 20 mins left for you to go. Mean while you are just about to go for the second filling. All the same I did enjoy myself and the ambiance is great.

If you wanna eat from dirty plates , unlimited dirty plates then come here. You walk over food, people walk around like they have never seen food before in here lol Never again

Have visited again after 9 years. Grilled section chef served what he wanted not what I wanted. Not enough seafood collection before like crab although it was the season

The worst place, I booked for 7 people but 3 people arrived and they didn't let us in because we weren't all of us even though we wanted to pay for all the other 4 couldn't make it. I find it very stupid and very disrespectful to the customers, we will definitely not be coming back here

Awful place do not eat here. Had to stand in a queue until after reservation time outside the resturant. Atmosphere was awful with children running everywhere screaming. Service was awful / non existent. The barman was rude and that's before you get to the cold awful food. Chinese was full of grease and tasteless. Sushi had crab sticks in the middle of it. Most of the dishes were cold and the puddings were like the rest of the food inedible. The fish grill was filthy so you can imagine the actual kitchen is the same. All food smothered in cheap oil. Mens toilets filthy, smelly and covered in urine. Wish I had read the reviews before I went.

How can a worker walk past a child dipping fingers in the food for God know were that child fingers has been but it was so unhygienic . DEFINITELY DESSPOINTED

This place has gone seriously downhill. Staff are allergic to proving any kind of service (except the guy who was at the grill station). When we came out of the lifts found huge amount of ice cream or may be mayonnaise on the floor. Staff did nothing even after bringing it to their attention. Food was served until 9.30 pm. They stopped refilling after 8.15 pm. Considering they were charging £25 per adult most of the stations were running low and some completely empty. Food quality was average. Steaks were cut thinner than bacon. Staff looked like they were held hostage.

Had a free birthday meal here. A fantastic variety of food. Even my youngest child who is very fussy found lots to eat. I would recommend eating here for a family special occasion.

You will end up massively stuffed. Not the place to sit down and have a meal with conversation. You are too busy trying the huge range of foods here, especially the Eastern cuisine. Go on your birthday and produce your passport to get your meal free with accompanying guests.

100% HARAM restaurant!!! Before I booked for my anniversary dinner I asked reception is it halal she said 100% halal but they do pork but it’s separate kitchen and provided separately but unfortunately when I went there I saw pork and halal food like soap, roll, pork ribs, pork curry everything they serving from same place. I was totally shocked! I paid already and very carefully I took some food and finish our dinner. It was totally disgusting and dishonesty with Muslim customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLEASE DO NOT GO ANY MUSLIM TO JRC CROYDON.

Well, what can I say? To me, it's just a place with an average food buffet style. We attended the Croydon branch. I think they need to give more time to eat maybe 2hrs. Too many food wastage as they dont allow to take home left overs, but that is the fault of customers. Small portions each time should be taken at a time. A child will be charged full price regardless if they are under 11 and over 150cm, I don't think that is fair just because a child is tall for their age they are charged adult price. Most children will not be able to eat as much for the adult price you pay. That was a big let down, I think they need to just keep it as under 11s half price, and if the child looks older, ID should be shown. On the plus side you get a free birthday meal if booked in advance.

Seriously gone downhill. Quality is bad. From service to food it's definitely not worth it even for a free birthday meal. The meats were over cooked, some had a weird taste. Staff act so cold shouldered. Used to be decent but now everything is unpalatable. The desserts feel like eating pasty flour. The only good things were the fresh cut fruits.

Avoid this place like the plague never in my life have I experienced such disrespect and discrimination. They charge children adult prices based on their height ....even though their website says under 13s disgraceful

JRC has really gone downhill in recent months and years......evidenced by lack of any type of queue on a Friday night......been a few times this year and the food quality has become worse each time.....it has become overpriced but the quality has gone down in relation to the price going up......we have decided to give JRC a miss going forwards which is a shame as they used to be OK......I really wanted to find way to give a positive review but as my group informed me.......nothing positive about the experience.......plus taking aware the water taps means people only drinking fizzing drinks or fruit juice or expensive bar drinks......also broken ice machine......not good

Service was terrible. Food was bland and cold, chicken didn't seem right at all. First time going last time ever going back. Lady at reception was so gloom not even a smile in sight and the waiter well he was boring.

I will be honest a cold McDonald’s is better and that’s saying something went tonight for my partners birthday there was no atmosphere at all the food was cold and I’m not over reacting went to the part where you get your vip voucher and we asked for the duck buo and the lady was trying to get us to have something that was already ready. The chicken tasted rubbery and the other meat was tough. My partner went to the one in Watford which is why he suggested here the place is run down looks like your walking into a prison the only good thing was my partner got his for free as it was his birthday if I had to pay full price I would have requested a full refund. The customer service was shocking we were left with plates on our table in the end we just walked out

This place has become something else, their management isn't well organised anymore. It's needs some renovation especially the area where people stand to take pictures, the chairs there are all ripped, the flowers are gone, is no longer attractive like those days. The waiting time is way too long. Queuing for almost 2 hours for just food. Someone vomited, they should have used disinfectant to mob that place instead of using just water and people were still eating around it. Mmmm

This place used to be a pleasant dining experience to take family and friends. However now I find it the opposite. The food has gone downhill, all meat was tough and chewy, alot of dishes were less than warm, the best thing I had this visit was the pizza , and for nearly £30 a head I expect more variety than pizza. I will not be in a rush to go back here, and wouldn't miss it if I never did again. Disappointing!

Went there for dinner with a friend for my birthday 🎂, which should have been free for me. I had my passport so no question that it was my birthday but was told as I hadn't booked a table I would have to pay to eat there 🤔 so I said no thanks walked downstairs went on my phone booked a table and had a couple of drinks in the bowling alley and then went back in saw the very same woman and said here for my free meal. When we got in it was at least a third empty so not sure why she had to be the way she was. Apart from that it was a good night.

Food was cold, meat was very hard and chewy not a pleasant experience. We spent over £100 for 4 people 2 adults and two children and food really wasnt nice very disappointed.

I like to go to places where I feel that I am treated with courtesy; I found them cold. The food is very tasty and varied. It's a nice place. I just think that before they tell us to leave, they should calculate the distance from where they make us sit.

Standard buffet experience really. Food was well cooked, the grill station has a good selection of fresh cooked meats, chef did love the pepper so mention if you’re not a big fan. Caters for all appetites. Food is ok, nothing mind blowing, however that is to be expected at a buffet restaurant of this size can get very very loud with so many people and lots of big groups especially at weekend. Do feel like I usually come away feeling very sick even if I don’t eat too much. Food does feel quite oily and heavy (obviously so you don’t eat too much). Overall not a bad experience, but not my choice for a nice meal out.

Not a bad buffet considering they are cooking food on mass, but like all buffets food is always a little bit less quality than a standard restaurant. Plenty of different types of cuisines to choose from i.e Chinese to curry, roast to sushi, pizza and nuggets, they also cook certain foods fresh, steak, octopus, pork but you limited on the amount you can get think it was 2 per person. You get a 1:45 minute time slot so plenty of time to go up for a couple plates. Not a great selection on desert. Would recommend as a cheap and cheerful place for a quick meal, or 2 if you're feeling really hungry.

Went there on Sunday 28th july for my sister's birthday, family of 10 Awful experience. Over price with the children ,my niece and nephew 9 and 11 years old had to pay full price because of their heights, we did not know that they measure children height until we get there . rubbish, some children are tall for their age. The food selections was terrible as alot advertised on website was not there and food was tasteless and cold My entire family was not happy and we won't be coming back. I was very disappointed to find that it's advertised as Halal food, and yet they sell pork. The food labels are very small. People with sight issues and dining alone could very easily eat something they shouldn't. Anyone with allergies to fish,nuts,milk, etc. wouldn't be able to eat there as it contains all of them or is prepared in an environment that is not safe. I wouldn't go again.

Highly recommended, I've been here twice now and each time friendly staff, beautiful layout, easily choice options of food you want, safety with card payments is really clever.

I celebrated my Birthday in this restaurant with 25 guests and we had a fantastic time yesterday. My guests told me that the atmosphere was great, there was great choices of foods and the one thing that stood out for me was the fact that we were not rushed out of the restaurant. We were left alone until we were ready to leave. Thank you for making my birthday experience in your restaurant memorable and great.

Disgusting people almost 2 hours before closing stopped replenishing food and forced me to pay even though jt was my birthday. All staff are truly disgusting. Food is trash

Reasonable price and the food is OK. It is a bit mixed in terms of the experience depending on how busy it is. Some of the dishes are a bit generic and samey, but the sushi is great for the price point.

Not bad, but not the best. The range of food available isn't as good as other branches I have been to. This branch seems to mainly focus on Eastern cuisine. They have Chinese, Japanese, Indian. They do have small offerings from Italian (pizza and lasagne), English (beef, roast potatoes, carrots). French only mussels. Didn't see American (Burger or steaks) or Spainish or Greek like in the Watford branch. While it works for me as I love pan Asian food, it not so get for my partner. So what do you get for your £28 / £32 with unlimited coke/soda. What I refer to as starters, and this is where I believe the claim of American food is from. Chicken wings, Onion rings, sweet potato fries, potato waffles. There is also a range of noodles, rice, Crispy duck with pancakes. Prawn crackers. Then your mains, as explained above. Deserts again, these seem to vary greatly between branches in range and quality. Croydon has had no Chocolate or Mint ice cream on any of our visits, and the profiteroles were better elsewhere. There are a number of small deserts so you can try a load of different ones without filling up too much. The children love the marshmallow and chocolate fountain. I haven't given many stars for service as there was no interaction with the staff, beyond showing us our table. There was no explanation of where things were or how it worked. Thankfully, it was not our first time, but had it of been, we wouldn't have had a clue. We were seated at the furthest most corner away from everything If you're hungry and like to mix it up occasionally, then it's not a bad choice.

Avoid this place, they over charge you and refuse to refund, check they payment before you pay by card easily done on contactless. Yesterday was over charged by £43. It is run by criminals

A very interesting and beautiful concept. There are dishes from many cultures. Open buffet and unlimited. You have 1 hour and 45 minutes. You can eat as much as you want during that period. The only thing I find pointless is that they charge extra for drinks. You can buy a glass and drink as much cold drink as you want with it. You have to pay an additional fee for hot drinks (£4 per glass). I liked the concept overall. 👍

Absolutely lovely place. So many varieties and did not disappoint. All good quality, and fresh fruit. Definitely recommend.

Good variety of food. The layout of the establishment is good but there needs to be more signage an d instructions of where things are. The staff are very busy making sure all spillages are dealt with straight away so they could do with having staff that are there to cater for any questions.

Great choice of food although it can seem a bit overwhelming with the choice. Food quality was ok in some areas. Atmosphere was very busy especially with kids sticking their fingers into the chocolate fountain. Not too sure if I would visit with the whole family again. Very good food, spent about £25 per adult. I especially like their upfront teppenyaki, where you are cooked your choice of meat in front of you. You are able to choose between steak, lamb, chicken, squid, scallops or prawns. The unlimited buffet is worth the price. We often come here to celebrate birthdays or special occasions. You will not be disappointed if you come to eat.

The truth is I have been to many places like this in several countries and there are super better quality and variety of food, and I don't know if it was time but most of the trays were to be scraped because they no longer had anything. It seems like a pretty price to me. high for what you find there.

We have always tried to come here for a birthday over many years, the menu has basically stayed the same, a big disappointment is that the door price has increased but also you have to pay for drinks which is an extra £5 per person. Book in advance to get extra time, and visit the fresh cooked counter next to where you have to pay extra for a soft drink.

Went by recommendation atmosphere was calm food was amazing. Also, great food selection, it was my birthday meal, and I really enjoyed. The desert was good and again, a very good selection 👌 this place is a buffet, and for adult weekends, was £32 eat all you want the drinks bottomless £4.50 drink all you want. Overall, it was a great 👍 experience. I went to the Croydon branch plenty of free parking for maybe 2 hours. I would definitely recommend 👌
