An excellent takeout with great tasting food. The dishes are made fresh with a friendly smile and to top it off they are extremely affordable. One of the best takeaways I've had in London.

My friend recommended me to try some dishes and I been going ever since. Prices are very affordable which is rare nowadays. The food is really tasty! and big portion for the Khotu.

Asked for chicken kothu and there was barely any chicken in it. Same with the rolls, it was mostly potato and the food does not compare to its competitors.

Everything is delicious- real authentic Tamil food. My go-to place for a chicken kothu.

i think they forgot to remove the chicken feather.please try to eat hygiene food.

So i found this place after I had passed several , I liked the way it looked very clean and hygienic . The food is delicious !!! Beef curry , the mutton rotti, that have these little rings that look like doughnuts delish!!!

I've managed to walk past this lil shop for years-and finally ventured in.... oooooh wow! Such beautiful and truly delightful food. I've started on the Roti filled with curry chicken and also the mutton one. They cost £1.50 each and very filling for the price x I actually cam not wait to walk past again on Monday to try something else 🙃 😋

Seriously good authentic flavours, nice selection of curries and nice thali on Friday, best mutton rolls in Croydon especially when they’re fresh out the fryer which is almost all the time. Happy to have found them 👌🏽

In terms of price it's very cheap and food is decent at times. You can't expect consistency in taste though.

A good take away restaurant/hotel in West Croydon to have the South Indian dishes. They even have evening snacks like Sundal, Medhu and Masala Vada/Vadai.

Used to buy snacks from there. Was given mutton rolls which tasted off. Complained to the bespectacled short lady staff, who screeched and shouted at me back. Finally, the gentleman came and gave my money back. The lady was still screaming at the top of her voice when I left the shop! 😳😲.

A visit to West Croydon is never complete without visiting dear Rotti Mama himself - always friendly with a big smile across his face. This little joint has come a long way. Still some of the most authentic tasting bites and kothu you’ll get anywhere, and value to boot. Especially compared to the more aesthetically-pleasing hipsterish places popping up every where these days. Real kothu - light, flaky rotti and veg, with rich flavours from the meat. This is an old school canteen kadai, straight out of Kili, with all the spirit and flavour of Rotti Mama’s old village shop, which hopefully we’ll all be able to visit some day.

I've seen the negative reviews about old food and not clean, they've come a long way since they reopened/refurbishes. Trust me, as a foodie Sri Lankan these guys have the best mutton rolls in town, you cannot beat them by price or flavour or size. Chicken liver curry is unreal, and their kothu and biryani has stepped up so much. Safely can say this is one of the best spots now for quick bites and takeaway for Sri Lankan dishes. Don't miss out!

Starting it was excellent , but now there is no cleanliness and the quality of the food is not good.

Very delicious food, ive been eating here for the last 3 years roughly and the service is exceptional (as a takeaway). The food comes quick and piping hot and is full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable compared to other sri lankan restruants in the area. I recommend thier meat roti and kothu dishes.

NEVER EVER BUY FOOD THERE. THEY SELL OLD EXPIRED FOOD. BOUGHT TWICE AND HAVING HEAVY STOMACH ISSUES WHICH I CANT BEAR WITH.. NOT CLEAN AS WELL. PLS SAVE YOURSELVES

Chicken curry is very nice and spicy. Chicken is properly cooked, very tender. Also one of my common favourite is Kotthu paratha, especially Mutton one.
