Been to this branch a few times. Food it good (chicken thighs, mac & cheese and fries), service can be hit or miss and cleanliness in the toilet isn't the best. Much better than the valley park restaurant if I was to choose.

Chicken was pink when cut into it, rice was not cooked properly and parts were hard. I also went a month ago, late evening, and the food was terrible then. Thought it was because they were closing but today has really put me off nandos now. Not had issues with any of Nando stores.

Years ago this location has had a bad problem with flies. It still does. There is a severe hygiene problem with this location. I travel a lot, and I've never visited anywhere as bad as this. I will never visit this location ever again.

Good food and service managed to get us a table before 45 minutes for a table of nine

From the person taking the order to the few waiters n waitresses attitude serving us,no plates or cutlery available also the person taking our orders behaviour was like she’s giving food for me and we are beggars also will share just one comment the guy clearing our table said “ pick up all the bones and mess on the plates now!“ disgusting! Don’t think I will return to this branch ever again ! Badly managed place!

Valley Park Nandos is honestly one of the worst Nandos around. The wait was over an hour. When our food did come the portions were on the small side. Before we finished our meal the waiter was trying to take our plates away. He was literally climbing over us rather than walking around the table so we ended up handing players to him.

Credit where credit is due.. Active attentive and polite team members, clean restaurant very reasonable wait time for the period we visited.. A small misunderstanding with the order. This was rectified by big guy called Victor I believe, very polite very professional I appreciate the service and will definitely return to this branch.

Worst ever service . You can’t expect hygiene if you come at 9PM. This is what they are saying. The service and food was just horrible. Skewers and spicy rice were horrible.This is second time very bad service. It is not hygiene and bad for tummy.

Food was very nice service was good until I got up and ordered my dessert (2 meters from table). and my table was cleared and cleaned including my drink which was removed. I said to the server that i haven't finished on the table, and no reply, thanks for that I said. No apology or replacement drink! (The reply) they oblivious didn't read the review.

Nando's Croydon - Colonnades was a first but not forgettable dining experience. The chicken was so delicious, as well as the sides of spicy rice, long stem broccoli, creamy mash with Peri chicken gravy, and Peri- salted fries. We chose a medium spicy for our chicken and were not disappointed. The food is uniquely different and very good. The service was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and vibe was comfortable, and laid back. We look forward to our next visit.

Don't order for delivery. Half the food will be missing and you'll be disappointed. You won't get a full refund. No chicken and chips... just chicken. I'm angry and disappointed. Such a shame.

I ordered on the app. Usually will call to give requirements, on this occasion, we rang about 5 times. Nobody picked up. We ended up with part of the chicken we don’t want and no sauce. Terrible app. You think it would give you an option to leave notes for the restaurant.

Delicious food as always and came so quickly. The staff were so kind and considerate.

Food was cold and flavourless, didn’t really have any flavour left half of it and got a £2 desert to make up for a £40 meal that tasted horrible and most was left. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Went there on Monday night. It was not busy. One person on service & 3 staff cooking. I ordered 2 packets of chips to takeaway. It took 25minutes. The staff were in the back just taking there time. New kid on the cooker had no one telling him about time management. Not going back again.

Took 20m for one box of chips they evidently forgot, and the box was tiny.

20 mins from ordering on app to collecting food. As soon as I entered the restaurant the guy was quick to come and help me and was very generous with service and sauce. Will definitely come again.

We came here for dinner, there was a mess up with our order, however we had a lovely young lady Rhianna who went over and above to rectify the issue.

Nandos has a reliable comfort food taste and service just about anywhere in London, so the Colonnades branch is no different. A good time was had by all. That said, I do love the cool art displayed in the Colonnades branch.

Went in for dinner and as soon as we entered got told by staff order quickly as food is running out. As soon I started to give the order paid for it and got told by cashier can't do any thing with pitta bread as they have run out. Ended up messing around with refunds etc, had to order with wraps but got 2 lots of food, and charged for the wrong order, and what I had ordered. No apology or anything, just a shambles. Even the manager on duty didn't seem to care. Have always enjoyed nandos without any problems, but this restaurant just took the mick. Won't be going here in a hurry.

Went to a a ndo’s about a week ago, the staff were amazing notably Angela, Chelsie, Debra, Jesse, Daniel and tyriq and the food was amazing too at a high level so I just thought I would show my gratitude for the great customer service.

Busy Tuesday night and waited 35mins for food.

Excellent service. Staff was very dedicated to their work. It was my daughter’s birthday and they even together sang happy birthday for her, as bringing the cake to the table. I can only recall names of two of the staff members- Maya, Patricia, but everyone on shift were brilliant on 17th October, around 8pm at Colonnades, Croydon.

Went to purley nandos today. Was extremely happy with the staffs service and attitude. They made me and my family feel very comfortable and enjoyed our food as always! The manager of the store aswell as the other staff looked after us very well and I was extremely happy with tonight dining. I hope the team sees this and keeps up the great work. Thanks a lot Nandos purley!

Got the halloumi sticks, boneless platter and chicken wrap and they were decent I would say, what I kind of expected really, nothing amazing. Waiters were nice and pleasant. Paid for bottomless drinks and wanted bottomless yogurt as well (flavour of the day was strawberry) but the machine was out of order. The food is slightly overpriced in my opinion and not really worth the money for the amount.

I had many great experience of eating in here 😊 love customer service for both eat in and takeaway 🙂

Ordered a Nandinos meal for my daughter (6). The order came with hot sauce on it, which burnt her mouth. Was told it that a new member of staff put it on the kids meal. No apology was given. Service was rubbish started taking the plates away while we were still eating restaurant wasn't even busy. Will not be eating here again and won't be recommending it either

I don’t normally leave reviews but Bruno De Silva was so helpful and kind when we visited today with our three children, He has a charming manner and the service was impeccable. Thank you, greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately it seems Nando’s no longer provide pots of sauce along with the delivery which completely defeats the point of ordering Nando’s. Very bad takeaway service

My wife, young son and I had a late dinner in the Nandos Colonnades this evening and were very impressed by the friendly staff and chef Bruno’s amazing chicken. We were the last to leave and Bruno was so amazing with our son, he can’t wait to go back already. Thanks for a great evening.

Honestly the best Nando's I've been to. John and the team were so nice and accomodating - no request was too much.The culture in this Nando's is everything you expect from hospitality but don't often get in even fancier places with high price tags. Would definitely recommend :)

We reached the restaurant at 9:15 pm and the restaurant was closing. The closing time on Google is 10 pm but they did not give us a seat because they were short of staff.

Great Nanods. Location has lots of free parking. The service is fast and staff are happy to help. The food came out perfect.

Today, I received exceptional service with great attention to detail. Thanks to Raheem and the team at Nandos Colonnades. Even the security was on point with great service. We had a large party of kids and adults and nothing was too difficult for Raheem, even the little touches we did not think of. A few more managers could learn from Raheem about how service is done. The security person took us to the table thrown menu on the table. As though he had enough. I felt extremely rude gesture and I didn’t want to make a fuss in front of my family or dinners. Something must be done fix his attitude! He seems to be a nice guy but he shouldn’t be taking anymore customers on to the table and he should do what is best at and that is stand by the door!

Manager refused to give me hot water to make a bottle for my baby, and instead told me to use cold drinking water. Even though I’ve been given hot water in nandos before no trouble.

Visited Purley Branch today such a fast and easy pickup, Staff “Alfreda” my apologies if I have her name incorrect but she was awesome, customer service/support 10/10 she was so professional and amazing at her job,can we have more staff like her please

I don’t usually leave reviews but feel a duty to write one when I get exceptional service. This was the case when I visited Purley Nando’s with my wife for our one year anniversary. The service we received from Bruno was absolutely exceptional. Bruno came to our table while we were eating, asked us how the food was and even though we said we were good he took initiative and let us know the food had been there for a while so he would warm it up. I’ve been going to Nando’s ever since I can remember and I have NEVER had anyone even offer to warm up my food, I didn’t even know this was an option. Bruno then continue to delight us in conversation, wished us a happy anniversary and kept engaging with us until we left the restaurant. It was only right, I took the time to leave a review. I will always come to Nando’s Purley as I am a permanent lover of the exceptional, 5 star, business owner level of service I received from Bruno. Thank you Bruno, you are a star!

Nando’s Fine Dining Deliveroo food received from Nando’s with corns burnt. We were unable to eat the corns.

At first the service was excellent. It was Approximately a half an hour wait time for the next table and the restaurant was fairly busy. Before we sat down an got comfortable they had a table for us. This is the only reason why I've given it two stars and not one. The two other people who I was with. Ordered pretty much at the same time. Knowingly that we ordered at the same time. We knew that the food may come out at different times. Not the extent that it was. My order, the mains came out first before starters and the drink. Talking about working backwards. It's lucky I order dessert. Then I had to ask staff after I've finished my main to get my starters. One set of starters came out and a drink. Then I had to ask again for the other two starters which I came to the member of staff who was working on the hot plate. She gave me the rest of them that was on the hot plate. It's luckly I've asbestos hands. One of the plates was hot and it was clear to me that it been on the hot plate since my mains was dished out. Anyway, the experience wasn't good.

The food is great here staff was very friendly and accommodating. The girls name was tazeem I think she was very nice and kept asking us if we want something! Thank you

Staff in here are awful, dont greet you on arrival. Security man does most of the work for them. tell you to wait 30mins even though there are 5 tables available which havent been cleared !!!

I love Nando's regularly eat there weekly and so does my daughter's we love the peri salted chips and peri tamer chicken 👍🏻

First time visiting here. Nice spacious restaurant and not too busy despite being a Friday late afternoon. Placed order on the app… glasses for drinks didn’t arrive so had to ask. Also placed an order for 3 starters sharing plate and they only delivered 2 of the 3 to the table so again had to ask.. Paid for a dip too which they failed to bring over. It’s like they didn’t check the order placed. Service generally was a little slow until it came to clearing our empty plates when about 3/4 different people couldn’t clear our table fast enough 🤷‍♂️😆. Staff were pleasant but service needs to be a bit better.

Good quality food and excellent service. The collection process is very convenient and the delivery time is impressive. Weekend delivery isn’t possible due to busy dining in but you can order & collect. Still worth it.

Chicken is quiet dried. And especially it is not worthy to pay near £9 the chicken butterfly, dried and small. I won't go to there again.

Can't fault them on anything. It was half term, so the place was packed but they managed to get us seated quite quickly since the other groups were much larger and those spaces were not available yet. Service was quick and the food excellent as always.

Nice restaurant just out Croydon (Purley Way). England. Lots of dishes to choose from, manly chicken with other sides. Service was quick, lots of different sauces to choose from to add to your meal. There is parking available outside.

Very busy as most nando's. Didn't enjoy my chicken much on the visit but unsure why. Wrong drink was served and they forgot one of the orders so had Chase this. Everything else was ok

Consistently great food accompanied with a great ambiance. Friendly and helpful servers. Short wait time for the food which was TOP TIER! I got the 4 thighs (Peri Flammer), with rice and coleslaw. And a side of peri chips as it was cheat day, shhhhh don’t tell my PT.

Long wait but food good. Forgot to put my dip in the bag which I paid for. Better attention needed by staff

Doesn't serve halal food. Give this branch a miss. Halal food is the best and very healthy.

I ordered 2 vegetarian meals. 1 was fine. The other was chilled cold, but just warm but actually chilled. That was the rice and the great imitator burger. I was given some garlic bread to eat while a new one was prepared, but I actually like to eat at the same time as the people I am with. Nandos customer services have dealt with this favourably and I look forward to revisiting.

We normally have a good experience at Nando's, but not on this occasion. We were getting mixed messages about where to sit, the time of the last orders and closing time of the restaurant. We were being rushed unnecessarily. The food was decent once it arrived and the prices are reasonable.

Best Nando’s I have ever been to hands-down! Every single staff member I encountered from start to finish were friendly, polite and helpful. You can tell they were truly happy to be there. The chicken, halloumi, rice and peri-chips were done perfectly. I actually used to work at Nando’s many years ago in Colchester, and I also am from South Africa so have been going to Nando’s since before it arrived in the UK. Well done to whoever is running this place - you deserve a promotion!

This is my local nandos. They are always warm, welcoming and friendly. They listen to your order and don't have you waiting very long for your food.

Minus 10* After my daughter and I had a very bad case of food poisoning from this branch we were issued a £40 e voucher. After plucking up the courage 5 months later to eat at Nando’s again, very disappointed to find that the voucher didn’t work. After a number of emails and telephone conversations with very rude and unhelpful Nando’s staff (in particular Sara assistant manager and Sam from customer support) I can confirm that they really couldn’t care less. To sum it up, thanks to Nando’s..my family and I have been made sick, embarrassed and left out of pocket. I spend an obscene amount of money eating in Nando’s every year. NEVER AGAIN! Disgusted, disappointed and insulted is the last dish they will ever be serving me! I regret every penny I have ever spent in Nando’s if this is how you treat you customers. Awful.

Really Cold inside restaurant. The driest burger I ever had. I know its a busy restaurant and I don't mind waiting but I think McDonald's would have been a better option. Il try a different Nandos next time

Very busy at weekends with some customers using the space for birthday parties(bringing their own cake) this takes value time & tables to serve the customers left waiting outside sometimes up to 45 minutes.

Recently visited with a few of my friends and we was served raw chicken. Had to make a complaint to the council and head office. Not good.

Food was as good as always although we waited a while for our order to arrive. The service from staff could be improved.

The STORE we give 5 STARS but how Nando’s as a company choose to fulfil deliveries, especially Deliveroo, we give a zero. We ordered directly from the Nando’s website and our food was never delivered. We called the number on the order which went to Deliveroo. I filed a complaint with Deliveroo as per the instructions on the order email. Based on the information inputted on their system via the driver, Deliveroo was under the impression that we received the order and driver called us, waited outside for 10mins and left the food outside. We did miss the drivers initial call but called them back 4mins later - no answer, I went outside and he was not there waiting nor was the food outside. We called the driver again - no answer. Deliveroo was most unhelpful, I had 2 calls with them and also called the restaurant. The restaurant Manager Caroline was brilliant, she called Deliveroo but they stated they never received my initial complaint. I called Deliveroo to question this and they said they have my complaint and it was escalated - I will hear back tomorrow. It is disconcerting that drivers can manipulate the system for their benefit. To top it off, I was advised from Jared Deliveroo Customer Service that if we picked up the initial call from the driver, this wouldn’t happen. This issue is still ongoing and my partner and I are out of pocket for the initial order and for a secondary order - we had to eat something. Moral and advice here is not to order through the Nando’s website as they use Deliveroo. We will still eat at Nando’s just eat in from now on. Miss Caroline (Nando’s store manager) we thank you for all your assistance.

I enjoy having dinner Sundays there. Food is always good and well prepared, nice and polite staff, friendly and always making sure you are good. My only problem is that the plain-ish option of flavours is a bit too spicy for my family! Overall experience is good!

The person at the till did not know they sold chicken in pitta, I’m guessing he is new, that’s ok everyone has to learn,.. I asked for pineapple and cheese to be added to my pitta.. nope that was missed.. waited over 25 mins for my takeaway.. only to get in the car and see the chilli jam was opened and half missing (no it wasn’t spilt out in the bag) had someone else used it??? I went back inside and it was changed, To top it off my corn on the cob was burnt and un eatable.. £17 on a meal that was a complete disappointment!!! Nando’s this is the first time you have let me down!!! Rather annoyed about it all and ruined my evening!!!

Dropped in one mid-week evening at around 9:30pm for a takeaway. Lots of staff, greeted at the door, service was efficient and staff very polite, which is rare these days. They occasionally run out of some chicken items late in the day, but normally plenty of alternative chicken dishes available. The security guard actually held the door open for us as we left - another helpful act almost unheard of these days!

Terrible service! Cold food, only half the starter was served had to ask for the rest and waited for like 10mins and no they were not busy! No glasses given for our drinks. Had to ask 3 staff members before I got them. Probably the worse Nando’s I ever had.

Restaurant itself was fine, clean, polite staff etc. I just find Nando's overpriced for what it is these days, a meal for 2 adults and 1 child was nearly £50 for basically chicken and sides. Disappointing portion size, especially the Butterfly chicken breast, which was the smallest chicken I've ever seen, it was also overcooked and under spiced (extra hot it was not) and all for £13+. I really like Nando's usually but won't be rushing back.
