Starbucks in Croydon

Well, lets start from tast of my Americano which was nice as always ( thanks to the lovely barista at desk ) till the agressive manager started to shout at one of the customers saying you can not move the indoor chair to outside, I dont wanna talk about how shocked was the person seeing the manger is shouting at her and being supper aggresive and rude , but I would like to mentiond that The manager name *Juana* ( not sure about the correct spelling tho, exuse to him if it is wrong), he is supper unpofessional and very agressive, he keeps shouting and walking around very stressfull, he is so unprofessional and I am not sure how he has been hired as a manager when he has no manner to treat customers and provide a good custome service, evenif he is right about moving the chairs outside but there is way to advise customer to do so not shouting at her and making everyone so uncomfortable in the cafee shop, so rude and impolite.

5* Service from Nikolas (Greek guy with glasses. Apologies if I misspelled your name). I asked him to pick a drink for me(and make it vegan). Drink was lovely-mocha with oat latte, decaffeinated coffee and ginger syrup. If you have a sweet tooth, like I had today, go for it :) Thanks !

Aseptic environment, not very warm

On a busy Friday at lunchtime, 2 people serving is woefully inadequate. Waited an age to get served as the 2 staff were busy fulfilling online orders. Waited nearly 20 minutes to get the drink once I placed my order. Nice refurbishment, but the service let's it down.

The new design of the store is quite nice, but unsure why the collection area and tills have been swapped around. I walked in and there was no clear queue of people with some queuing towards the front door (as used to be the case) and some queuing towards the back of the store. I’d recommend some floor marking or barriers to show which way to queue so it’s clear whether to head to the back of the store or queue in the usual direction

Much better service than after my last visit a few months ago; it's been updated inside and the staff are much more switched on.

It is a pity that you come for a coffee and a nice atmosphere but you only find a place with a lack of hygiene, look at the bathrooms, they are disgusting, it was very unpleasant… I was here at 1pm and it was not very crowded to think that there was movement. Lack of quality control in the cleaning of the place.

Twice my Chai Latte taste like hot water and once they gave me the wrong drink. When I called they said to reorder again but I said no because I will have to pay an extra service charge. I do not know whether they are under staff or not but their service is really really slow. Sometimes two staffs take orders and only one person makes all the drinks You will need to wait 40 to 45 minutes for a drink. Please trained staff to make a good latte and also to pay attention when taking orders. Starbucks coffee are expensive.

I ordered a delivery today from Starbucks , in North Finchely , as I am poorly, and I was shocked that within putting my order in at 9am , I had my food and coffee by 9.25am!! 😊 the food and coffee arrived much earlier than estimated , it was hot and enjoyable!. The delivery driver was polite also. Thank you all at Starbucks! I will definitely order again for a delivery when I'm stuck

I love this place it has so many different bottles and really close to me and it has so many different kinds of sandwiches and drinks I loved my drink I got

Today I encountered the most amazing customer service. I came to Starbucks with my daughter who had been focused on the chocolate coin Andy orange cake I promised her I would buy it for her I had one card on me as well as Apple Pay but for some reason the machine did not accept my card. The manager with blue hair was phenomenal, she tried my card several times abut it didn’t work, Rather than causing me any embarrassment she gave me the products. I will be coming back and I will pay for the items but it was just so nice and kind. Thank you

Think it is ok but I found the interior too dark to relax in, despite enjoying my cafe latte.

Coffee and some quiet time to work. I normally avoid chain coffee places but this place was quiet, very clean and suited what I needed. I also would like to note the great way the staff dealt with a woman who they apparently ruined her day and was shouting at them.

Overall great coffee place but it could be cleaner inside, some dusty and grimy corners in there.

A clean place that offers good customer service. Anthony helped me decide which coffee i wanted, despite the busy working environment. He was polite and patient.

Alas, not too great. First cup of tea was undrinkable. Replacement scarcely better. Probably best to stick to the coffee. The bog was filthy.

Should pay more attention to keep the tables clean

I have been to this Exceptionally Beautiful Starbuck's before and out of all the Starbuck's in the Whole of London this is my very favourite Starbuck's in the Whole of London. The Food Hygiene Rating's of this Starbuck's has Exceedingly Excellent 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating's. All of the Staff that work at this Starbuck's are exceptionally lovely People towards me.

Coffee was nice, unfortunately since the introduction of the delivery service it is very hard to understand what position in the queue I was when i walked in. I thought I was second in the queue and then stood for 20 mins watching the staff make around 10-15 coffees before mine arrived. Not ideal when you need to get to work.

There was nobody who will check the state of the tables but drinks were nice

I had cafe latte and focaccia chicken sandwich which caused me severe food poison and many inconvenience and pain. Dirty place. Avoid.

It was made quickly but that's about it. Staff don't listen to needs. I was asked twice if I wanted cream on top of drink I replied no and they still put it on. Going down hill.

Really sorry Starbucks you only get 1* waited and waited before anyone lifted their head up to serve me and they weren't busy in the end had to ask to be served not good enough

Nice place and very friendly staff

I stopped for a coffee and put 30 minutes on the parking. There was two young teenagers in front of me, and a lady with 2 children. After 25 minutes I was still in the line to order. A lady who had been sitting in the closed area approached me to ask that I move back on the floor. It was quite apparent she was in a panic. The 2 ladies behind the counter just could not cope with the two orders. My phone bleeped to remind me my parking was up in 5 minutes. I put the coffee pods back and left the shop. On my way back to the office, I stopped at Costa, there were 3 people in the line. I waited 4 - 5 minutes and was served, What a difference how efficient. I cant recommend this Starbucks branch

Allways spot on with drinks, dog friendly and friendly staff.

To bad, I can only pay through the application? That's bad management!!! Costa next door is full, I drove 20 minutes to get a decent Starbucks coffee and then I wasn't able. Crazy!! What's the reason, why we can't pay by contact les????

Had a caramel frappacino (with coffee shot), it was very watery (expected it to be crushed iced), the actual flavour of the drink was not very nice. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the venue is fine. WiFi and plugpoints were all good as I worked on my laptop.

It's getting harder to get a table without a laptop on it, all we want is to enjoy a coffee but it's like walking onto a office, it's a shame people can't have a break from their work and enjoy a coffee in peace

Luke warm, below average quality coffee, which is overpriced, many other coffee shops in the area serving a quality product for a more reasonable price.

5.50pm today walked into Starbucks north finchley and ordered my usual #half shot skinny cappuccino # The guy wearing glasses was having a private conversation with a woman friend of his and didnt pay much attention to me. My coffee was made by someone else and when i left and sipped my very strong coffee i flinched. I went back in and said to him *what-did you make me.?* he rudely responded a cappuccino!!! When i said to him that i asked for a half's-hot skinny he continued to argue with me until i walked out. He was rudeand abrupt that he embarrassed me in front of others. I urge the management to view the cctv. I will never go in there again. Needless to say the place is filthy.

Coffee to bloody strong you don't seem to sell a more mellow coffee two strong and bitter suggestion change your coffee beans not every body is not suffering from head ache from the night before and need to sober up

Starbucks is a lovely place sells selection of hot drinks and cold drinks and pastries. has WIFI and families welcome with young children. all affordable prices. and has nice atmosphere. staff very friendly as well.

Whenever I'm in town it's one of the first places I pop into to start my day. Staff are really friendly and service is quick. Most importantly the coffee tastes great! They even managed to spell my name correctly first time ha ha.

First time I had ever been here and it was pretty daunting looking at the menu. There is so much to choose from. I went with the caramel frappe with a coffee base. It was so nice and came quick. The baby-chino is so cute and free

I didn't even know this was there until the one in Whitgift was ripped out! Clean, peaceful, great service and a tasty mocha too. I'll be back!

They make my caramel macchiato just right - I applaud them charging for paper cups. I've always wanted to bring my own cup and now I have a reason to!

It's not that it's a bad Starbucks, it's more that it's just disappointing. Out of the five times I've been there they've got my order wromg three of those times and the service is annoyingly clumsy and slow. You know when you walk into a shop and you get the feeling you've interrupted the workers conversation and they greet you with that half surprised half annoyed look like you've just walked into their living room at home? That's what this place is like. Best to avoid and go to Costa across the road or Nero which is about 20 meters away. Both those places have amazing staff.

Not much different to any other Starbucks you visit. Has a toilet downstairs, accessible for disabled people.

No Extra charge for paper cups. Why paying extra money to Starbucks company??

Always a pleasure to visit here.Short queues, nice peaceful atmosphere and a good amount of tables and seating. The drinks are so yummy, especially mocha and seasonal drinks. The snacks can be a bit expensive but out of this world

It’s good place and coffee but what is this 5p cup charge!!!???

Our favorite place to hang out with friends and family.We are local and being there regularly. Small space wise but with lovely staff providing you with mood lifting little chat and always flexible and accommodating.

Great, fast service. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere of the shop was warm and cosy. The drinks were delicious as well. Would recommend if you are in the area and need a quick drink or want a relaxing break from the outside world. Easily one of the top coffee shops in the area, with a Costa right across the street and a Caffe Nero a few shops down, it's still my top choice when in the area

Only went in because the Costa coffee machine was not working. But they do a decent coffee.

Good coffee and good service but charing 5p to get a paper cup is a bit illogical. Especially the customer is already charged to stay in. Give us at least the chance to chose the type of cup to use. Other than this there are comfortable seats and it's not extremely busy so I can enjoy a good coffee while reading your book in peace.

I like to go this Starbucks to work. It is nice most of the time and people is nice. Former staff was better.

Nestled away in the heart of the Croydon shopping arcade. You’d think being where it is, that it would be kinda busy but nope. For just before noon on a Sunday, surprisingly quiet. Perfect for a quick drop in and a bite to eat. On a hot day, you can’t go wrong with a nice iced tea or coffee. The Pineapple Green Tea is to die for. The usual tasty selection of cakes and sandwiches on offer as well, making this a great place to recharge your batteries during a mid shopping break.

Went there for Iced Tea with my hubby. Ordered two times tea but staff charged me just for one... so had to go to the queue again.No receipt . While waithing someone was already took my tea had to waith for quite a lot! Not to mention that I am pregnant. Staff is helpless and arogant!

At the time of our visit the tables were clean and tidy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Coffee was very good standard.

I don't like 🌟 bucks , however this is a nicely located cosy one.

The staff themselves were lovely but I understand Starbucks are a dodgy employer/co. so I generally try to avoid them, (low wages, insecure contracts, tax avoidance, etc.) The coffee itself was fine and a nice enough ambience, v.friendly staff so 5 stars for that.

Cozy and clean. All the furniture is new, stylish tranquilising decor. The staff is superfriendly. Always good selection of sandwiches and cakes as well as drinks. Popular with high school students.
