It's my local Pret, always go there, well managed, staff are friendly and professional, great variety of drinks and food.

Leaving this review because the service here was so lovely and welcoming and made both of us step back and realise good service is not as common these days. Thank you pret staff!!

£3.45 for a black coffee, call it what you want but it’s still a black coffee. So overpriced

Open early, great hard working staff. Places to sit (limited). Only other gripe, not open bank holidays

The team behind the counter at this pret are fantastic So efficient, friendly and the drinks are great too Cheers to them - you make a brief everyday interaction 2/3 times a week into a positive with your work ethic

Great service, nice and quick! Few tables that can fit in 2. Not ideal for larger groups or have a board games evening but perfect for quick grab before jumping on the train.

It's Pret with a bit of seating and good service.

Server refused to serve a coffee as my subscription was cancelled even tho I reactivated it and showed the status, advised me that its nothing to do with them and to call.

They never seem to have ice. But have a huge board advertising iced drinks.

I am a regular at this place. I like my coffee with honey and usually get one of them breakfast pastries with mozzarella. Today, it happened to be on the house. I think that was really sweet. Thank you to the manager at Pret :)

One of the best Pret shops in London. The staff and baristas are always very friendly even in busy times. Julio who’s the manager runs the shop by example!

I found this brand better than the rest of the coffee shops. But for some reason, Today my daughter and me have (late and caramel) we both felt tummy ache all day. Something about the milk maybe?!?

They close too early - 2.30 on a weekend that is ridiculous

This place has MICE issues! And I was literally planning to have breakfast there in the morning... See full video. I strongly advise to whoever is running this place to look into it ASAP. I have always been a fan of PRET chain but lately I have found a lack of actual filling in their sandwiches and wraps, as well as a drop in quality and freshness in general. The mouse issue at this place is the last things one can tolerate. For now I have changed to LEON (fresher, healthier and amazing Arabica coffee you must try! and of course hopefully infestation free) until they have seriously addressed all these issues...

If I pay £3.10 for a Flat White, it’s got to be good. I could get barista-quality for less. My drink was lazy. No foam. Milk right to the top. Yuck. It was Saturday morning and not even a rush. Poor coffee-making. Save your money. They could do with remembering the difference between the coffee drinks they serve.

Great coffee and great ambience but it would be much appreciated if the opening and closing timings could be updated online as well instead of sticking the paper near the entrance. Cheers.

I ordered a Dirty Chai Latte with the Pret monthly pass and they tried to charge me extra for the espresso in my drink. What the hell? My Pret monthly pass is supposed to give me free drinks. I've never had this problem at any other branches before ( I go to Pret everyday before work!) What's the point in paying for a monthly pass when you have to pay for your favourite drink? 😂 Sounds like they made that rule up because they didn't know how to put it through the cash register. The Chai Latte (without the dirt!) was very nice.... So an extra star for that.

I usually bring a wet wipe with me to wipe chair and table. Today the toilet was out of service (tut) otherwise a polite and friendly service. Nice environment

I went up to order after waiting 15 minutes to be served because there was only one girl behind the till and there was only 4 people in front of me and when I got there I asked for a hot chocolate and coffee and few things for my colleges and once I paid I asked how long the woman said I told you when it’s made and told me to move over there which is very unprofessional because in my shop that I manage not one of my staff tell customers to move over there and be so rude to them so I hope the aerial managers see this and send a another store manager to go check it out because this is Unacceptable behaviour

The baristas are great - always give great service and go the extra mile. The managers are 2 useless men who don’t know Pret policies, and avoid eye contact so they don’t have to help serve customers during busy periods.

I had to clean the chair and table, but I do that everywhere

I had to choose between Pret A Manager and Nero (next door). I decided to have Pret. The coffee was delicious and the croissants was fresh and tasty. The table and shop was clean aswell. I really like it here. The staff are okay too!

The content of the Duck wrap has changed drastically. It was one of my regular purchases, but not after today. It contained 2 small cubes of duck, a teaspoonful of sauce, large amount of green leaves, 2 big chunks of cucumber. No taste whatsoever. Used to get 6 big chunks of duck with lots of sauce. Not wasting my money again in Pret and be disappointed with my lunch, which was supposed to be a special treat. If Pret continues to be a cheapsgate with its fillings, they will lose returning customers like me. If I had stayed to eat it on site I would have requested a refund, but it was full up and noisy so took it home.

Always lovely customer service, lovely smoothies!

I am normally a diehard Pret fan but occasionally I have course to complain and it’s usually dealt with promptly. The last two times I’ve given feedback that has been negative I’ve heard nothing and I think it’s pretty bad so I don’t know why the service seems to have gone downhill somewhat even though the food remains very good and drinks also. I’m only giving it one star to get attention from the company. Pontius Pilate there are masses of bad reviews which was a great surprise from what I thought was a very good company

I love Pret so much, I have drunk a lot of drinks there and it all started with "the first month is free" and then I started to pay because I loved it so much. The customer support is amazing and I've lost my phone there and the staff kept it and gave it back to me safely, unlike most cafe's.

Whenever Ash makes my coffee it comes out superb . She takes a little longer but I can see she is doing everything with care keep it up!!

Working near by go here alot food the same as most prets staff here not that good always in a ruch never a table to sit down. City ones are better

I dropped my wallet at this Pret, and a kind staff member had picked it up. Everything was intact when I picked it up the next day. Extremely friendly, amazingly courteous and very professional staff. Would highly recommend this branch. Oh, and the smoothies and Thai soup were yummy too! :-)

Service was great, a special mention to Giovanni who was friendly, very approachable and gave great customer service. I understand he’s a new starter, but you’d never think it, he’s a complete natural. Serving coffee with a smile, exactly what you want - I’m not a morning person, but this experience put me in a much better mood!

Too slow in deliveroo & order not fulfilled Ridiculous.

Utterly disgraceful service I will never go to this store - not clean - disgusting service - rude staff Pret no longer deliver cappuccino and you can’t order for collection either! Staff hang up on you when you ask for manager

I wouldn't order again from this Pret by Uber Eat. Only received 40% of my order and didn't even bother to let me know if item were out of stock or provide a refund. Had to contact the Uber to get refund. Disappointing as family was waiting to enjoy lunch but with items missing, had to order again from somewhere else.

Great staff, fast service lovely coffee

I wouldn't bother ordering from this Pret on deliveroo since they make zero effort to protect drinks and food ready for transportation. This has now happened three times!! The first two times I simply ignored it because I don't usually have time to complain, but this time they are taking the pi** It's almost like they throw the actual coffee machine at the paper cups before bagging them. When I pay £13 for a croissant, filter coffee, soya latte I expect to be able to consume the product, not throw it into a bin. P.s I spat the pret a mangled poo soggy croissant into a bin.

This people have very bad service. Today I had my break from 12 to 13pm. In 1 entire hour they weren't able to deliver my food. I am not fan of Pret manger, the only reason why I chased it was because I thought they will be faster as the good is alredy made, but no, even a called twice for complain they made the delivery guy to wait for over 20 minutes(told by him). I am alsp very dissapointed with the lady in the phone. She didn't care if I am hungry or in rush, her answer was constantly:awwww...okay... I was very upset as my food came when I was alredy finish my break so I couldn't eat. Thank you Prey a Manger people, how you can sleep well tonight!

Greedy managers and grumpy staff, with terrible customer service. A technical difficulty with their tills left me unable to redeem my daily Pret Barista coffee allowance, and a simple gesture of good will the following day to compensate for it was rudely refused, without any compassion at all, Pret would apparently prefer to waste coffee instead of keeping a valued subscribing customer happy. My situation was not handled well by Vanessa the manager here, and Pret managers need to do a better job of balancing customer service with rigid store policy. Due to these events I will be cancelling my Pret Barista subscription, and no longer returning to the Pret Croydon branch, as it seems regular paying customers is not valued, or rewarded with decent service there.

Just loving this coffee shop! Staff is remarkably friendly, always carying and jumping to help which makes a big difference. I give a maxium rate for the best customer services received so far. Food is always fresh, healthy and they have the best coffee! Would definetly go back and recommending others to do as well. Thank you Pret! ❤

The £20.00 a month offer is excellent value. The staff are always polite and I enjoy a coffee on my way to work each day

OK, we got it. you lowered the quality of everything since you have started this subscription thing and it is normal. But the coffee I bought today was burnt and bitter. I couldn't drink it.

I've been a Pret A Manger customer for a very long time. I love the location of this branch and the service is good. Feedback, would be nice: more friendly staff, longer opening hours (I want a drink or snack after work) and tidy up and clean up the seating area frequently. Seating area could do with a refurb :)

Pret must ensure staff and customers are safe. Tables need to be cleaned at the end of use. This is basic. Customers cough and sneeze over tables, Tables must be cleaned more regularly Purification of air conditioning needs improving for better quality care or leave the main door open for more ventilation please and thank you . Servers are very polite and friendly.

Service and drinks are variable in quality

First time in Pret A Manager East Croydon and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The sandwiches is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.

Good quick service right next to east croydon station with plenty of measures in place such as cashier screens and hand sanitizer. However the coffee I must say would not be the same standard as your costa/Starbucks etc There is also only one size so no small, medium or large. Seating of around 20-30 max

I visited this branch today to find it inadequately staffed and filthy. NO Point in putting hand sanitiser out if you are failing to clear tables. Dont put us all in danger by simply just opening when u can obviously not manage or cope, a disgraceful show for the current times we are living in. To rub salt in wounds the manageress was peering aimlessly out of the kitchen at the chaos in front of her. I have reported my findings to the environmental health. You should be ashamed of yourselves

Nice Pret by East Croydon Station. Very standard and you will find all the usual Pret's eats. I quite like it, staff friendly and not too busy.

This is a chain promoting fresh food, prepared on the premises. A good mix of workers who come in to eat their lunch inside or to buy and take away. Today I had the roasted vegetable soup and the carrot juice. Both plenty of flavour. I was just after the 13.00 peak so got a table. I had a fresh tasty wrap and used the wifi. Located a block from East Croydon Station. Helpful staff.

It's a Pret. Pricey but some tasty items on menu. Better Coffee than Starbucks etc for me. Lovely and lively staff.

This location is pretty basic. Pret has ok coffee and food for a chain.

Very slow and unfriendly.. Not the usual experience I have come to expect.. Thankfully the skinny cappuccino and snacks were exactly what I hoped for.. Yummy.!

I love Pret and the staff in Croydon are great. I do have one problem in that every morning when I go in to get a Veggie Omlet they are ALWAYS sold out. It would be great if Pret Croydon could possibly make more in the mornings, the demand is there as this has been my problem since last year. They can always be stacked on top of each other in the boxes. I am never able to wait for the new batch because I need to get to work in time. Especially since its Veganuary and more people are looking for this item it would be great if they could consider an increase in the amount they provide.

I love must of all their croissants. If I'm in at breakfast-time they're going to be freshly made. Yum!

Lots of cold and hot fast but healthy food options. All freshly prepared in the back kitchen. Clean and friendly environment. Nice staff. Reasonable prices with quality. For breakfast and lunch you can enjoy. Of course there might be cue be ready. But it is fast in service so don’t worry. Coffe is also tastes good.

Always great food in a Pret. This is a small branch, so they don’t have all the options as other outlets unfortunately.

Lots of options for most dietary requirements. They often introduce new choices which keeps me coming back. The mango chia pot is delicious, and the ginger shot is my favourite!! The place is well kept and the staff are efficient, friendly and attentive.

2 of us wanted something that was being prepared but waited so long we gave up and went elsewhere. We were not treated as important customers in the slightest. Staff not helpful on this occasion but previously I had asked for something they had ran out of and it was bought out to me when it was ready, that was good customer service.
