Caffe Nero in Croydon

Well, they served me a coffee, but seemed stressed out, no smile, no eye contact. Not sure why you would want to come buy £5 coffee cup here.

I ordered 2 coffee and 3 sandwiches and received only coffee !!! Disappointed!!!!!

Love this place. Comfortable seats amiable staff.

As to be expected. A haven from the daily travails. Just sitting in there on leather seats and watching the world go by is worth every penny.

The experience warmed us on a really cold evening

Dirty and flies obviously flying around even in winter. Maybe some animal corpse in the walls or something.

Internet doesn’t work. Spent a lot of money and I think they just turn it off 30 minutes after I asked them to use it as was not working and air-conditioning on cold. Reason I went and spent more then most and they did not care not like it was that busy. Would’ve bought more drinks and if it felt welcoming. Toilets, ok.

To slow serving the deliver food go first customer 2nd not very good

I’ve been ordering from Caffe Nero since 2019 and this is the 1st time my order was disgusting. Oil on my hot chocolate and some glue on my chocolate muffin.

Rose denied my student discount and I go there often. I asked to speak to a manger when rose said the manager isn’t there, then said she is the manager. How possibly can you be both. Rose needs a transfer and or better development

This branch of Nero has improved over time. Service used to be unsatisfactory as the ladies working here were not very friendly. But the last few times I came for a coffee, I was pleasantly surprised after a change of staff behind the counter. Makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable!

Love popping in for my chai latte. Always greeted with a smile. Can always find a seat to sit, drink and chill.

Poor customer service, no communication with customers. One of the staff knew there were customers waiting but still walked off while colleague filled a large online order and made us wait.

First time in the George Street Croydon store, lovely toasted sarnie and caramalised biscuit latte.

Love my little CN. Never used to go into these places alot but now I am a carer I take my sister there alot for a coffee and a nibble. Staff are always super nice. Occasionally when I can I will enjoy a nice read by myself over a cuppa and cake. I really like the soup but they don't seem to serve it with bread like they used to so don't buy anymore. A shame it was bery tasty with bread an butter.The menu could do with a rel shake up. Costa has introduced tortilla (vegan one as well)Wifi available there of course

Didn't really like the service we recieved the gentleman said they were closing soon and we felt like a nuisance like we weren't wanted there... just not very welcoming.. they greeting nicely when we left tho only because I said happy new year first and merry christmas tho

i’m usually a starbucks/costa drinker but my friend suggested we go here. they didn’t have the drink i originally wanted so i went for a white mocha thinking it was a safe choice as that’s what i always order from starbucks. it didn’t taste like a mocha or sweet at all. taste more like a cappuccino with no sugar. big waste of money and will not be returning.

Worst coffee I've had from a Nero. One person behind the bar and a decent wait to get served.

Not the best coffee, however we usually like their single origin. It is an ok place to have a cup of something and do some work.

Clean cozy interiors, no annoying music (at least when I was there), fantastic almond croissants, and wonderful coffee. A place to come back.

Nice view of the high Street, very comfortable seats for me and my baby. I love my hot drink very very hot, it was a miss at first but my second order was well on point.

Hot Drinks are very good here. Caramel Latte Special Caffe Mocha Cappuccino Chai Latte These are my favourites. Cold drinks are also nice here. Pistachio Latte Salted Caramel & Pistachio Frappe Creme Strawberry Milkshake These are my favourites 🧡 Customer service is very good also. Staff are very friendly ☺️

Feshky made Latte. Shop a little busy but didn't have to wait long for my beverage. Clean and well laid out seating wise.

Unusually slow service for a cafe nero. They keep you unnecessary waiting at this Caffe Nero.

I have been short changed twice at this cafe. I estimate over about ten visits over a year the server has tried to short change me twice. It happened when i did not get given a receipt and retrospectively asked for one which showed i had been double charged on one item

Tried ordering twice now - both time I’m missing half my order - it cost more for delivery than the items I received even after a refund Staff clearly need training or replacing - utterly useless -Terrible quality -can’t make a flat white or a cappuccino properly -burn the milk -miss half the order both times £16 for a horrible flat white and some yogurt and chocolate raisins 👌 No food - no soup - how stupid are these people!? The two main items missing I travel up and down the country - Worst Nero I’ve experienced without a doubt

Decent Coffee (latte) on the click and collect service. Quick service and friendly service when picking up too.

Not too organized, but very friendly Barista and also clean with two tables of hand sanitizer. Not very busy either.

I usually go to this Caffe Nero's on my way to work. On that day I was using a promotion that was ending. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I do get on well with them.

Very good place to enjoy coffee with families and friends. You can take away or sit there to enjoy your hot chocolate on top chocolate beans. This place is providing some popular bakery items to eat. Environment is peaceful there.

Nice air con this hot day. My frappé latte was watery and tasteless though.

I drink coffee here often, NEVER had a bad coffee from any staff member. Friendly hard workers and the guy from Canada always cheers me up with his good sense of humour. Quality coffee considering the hundreds of cups they make each week. Highly recommended neighbourhood coffee shop :) No scorchers there!

The new Canadian guy made me a fantastic coffee, and made the shop feel so much friendlier than it used to. Looking forward to visiting again.

Place has gone downhill in recent times. Tables are placed messily, it's like navigating a slalom course. I have never had a bad coffee though. Until now. DO NOT allow the Canadian guy to make your coffee - he thinks a cappuccino is scorched and milky. He's bringing the Caffe Nero name down, I'm afraid.

Appreciated the light lunch of soup and a roll I didn't realise they offered. Excellent coffee in a busy coffee shop with quick service.

Service was good, drink was fine. Place clean and the toilet was clean but you need a code to get in.

I like Cafe Nero!! It's there coffee that makes me go again and again. The ambience of this cafe is good and not too crowded during the weekdays afternoon, if you looking to sit and read there for long than this is your place during the weekdays.

I generally avoid Cafe Zero now, but weakened for a moment. Always good coffee, often slightly stale muffins on the morning s (but acceptable), as today. All tainted by the fact that they are above the nasty business of paying corporation tax.

Chain coffee shop....you know what you get . Only 1 member of staff when I visited this one but service was quick and place clean.

It's everything I'd expect from a coffee chain, really. A wide range of drinks, and they have a variety of herbal teas for those of us who are avoiding caffeine. They have nice looking cakes and some sandwiches and pots of food. Sadly I have dietary restrictions but they have a range of pre-packaged treats that are gluten free, including the apple and blackberry crumble bar which is really nice. The seating is quite comfortable.

Nice Italian coffee even soya or coco milk. I was surprise with the coconut yoghurt passion fruit and mango. Prices are affordable

Decent ambience, friendly attentive staff, good service and nice coffee. Credit cards accepted including Amex.

The coffee tends to be weaker than Starbucks but it tastes fine. The cakes tend to be better than other coffee shop chains. It's a relatively comfortable environment and they have free ice water to help yourself.

One of my favourite places in Croydon. I love the coffee and they have some really nice cakes. I go often, I enjoyed the environment and the music. The toilet is not as busy as in 93 George St. The staff is more friendly in this Nero than in the one near the station.

Love this place - some good books at the back and many use laptops on the wifi. pastries let it down a bit, Nero does need to sort this out as the price has gone up but the quality has gone down.

Not much should be expected with these chained coffee stores nowadays; the coffee was decent but the venue itself could use some sprucing up; feels a bit depressing in here to be honest! The staff were friendly though I must say.
