Three of us visited on a Saturday lunchtime before heading off to the football which was a 15 minutes walk away. Strangely, because the food and service were first class, we were the only customers in there. I have no doubt that it was much busier in the evening. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Service was good and friendly, nice quiet lunchtime atmosphere with good food and wine. We were Unhurried whilst staff were attentive A little limited for the menu but nice specials. Loved the king prawns.

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in SE London, but there is a serious lack on ambition on the menu. I have been several times since opening and the food is always well executed, but the menu has evolved at a snails pace and is still essentially a gasto-pub menu. The dining room is well suited to a serve genuine restaurant food, or at least a more 'fine-dining' brasserie menu, which will make the place a destination. Unfortunately, the menu feels like it has been designed by an accountant, not a chef and this means the place won't attract local regulars, nor will it become a 'destination' people travel to. D&M was reviewed by a couple of national newspapers and the money spent on the building means it could become a real gem of a restaurant, but it is lacking atm. The staff all seem friendly, and a particular mention to Jamie, who tempted us to stay for dinner after enjoying a drink on the terrace.

It was our first experience at Sonargaon. We were a team of 13 people and we all were welcomed and made us very comfortable. We were happy with the service provided to us. The staff and the manager looked after us throughout the night. Thank you so much for giving our NHS team a fantastic Christmas celebration experience. You guys are fabulous 🎉🎉🎉

We really enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant was warm and welcoming. Service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed the Mutton Dosa and would come again to order this or another Dosa. The chicken curry was very tasty but quite small. Didn’t mind that. Overall the food was delicious and would happily return

Food and service really good. Music a bit loud when we arrived. We asked the manager to turn it down a bit which he did. Smashing night out !!

Main waiter male understood the menu, good knowledge of Turkish food. The lady bringing the food didn't even really know what she was serving. Very disappointed about the inauthentic flavours and consistency of the cold starters, baba ghanoush and hummus. At £5 each, I would have been better going to the Turkish shop and buying some nice fresh bread. The bread for starters was mediocre. My main was delicious, Iskender, kebab meat OK for others, Fish had little flavour. The salad was not good. It lacked the flavours you expect from Turkey. Fair to say I won't be coming back. If you know your Turkish food, avoid this place. If you don't then you may enjoy your meal due to inexperience and go for it.

Honestly this place used to be better... I'm led to believe they've changed staff...and it shows..

Food was excellent and staff even better. Chelsea made the experience great - lovely, polite and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

Had a raspberry lemonade, and for some reason, the person who made it didn't mix it.... Most odd.

Had high expectations after reading the reviews. We were a group of five having a variety of cuisines. The waiter service was very good and so was the Chinese food. Popadoms not fresh with a disappointing selection of dips, sheek kebab had nice flavour but dry and overcooked, chicken tikka masala and korma not great flavours and on par with a ready meal, the rice made in the morning then warmed up and was lumpy, naan bread was good. We did raise it with the manager but was told that he never had any complaints before. We paid in full and left, sadly will not return.

Such a lovely chicken burger, marinated to keep it juicy and grilled to perfection. The waitress even remembered us from our previous visit two weeks earlier! Reasonable price, friendly service.

I went to lunch it was very delicious traditional Sunday roast I ever had Sunday roast before like that and the yorkshires are very good And the desserts was very nice Try cheesecake and biscoff waffle…
