Food took 2 hours to arrive. This is totally unacceptable. No one should be expected to wait this long for their order.

Chaos at the front of house, no organisation at all. People stood everywhere and when we walked round to a side garden a member of staff barked at us telling us to queue at the front if we don’t have a booking. Immediately we were put off the place, she was obviously front of house and went back to her little stand after offering no help. We have never been to this pub before and we didn’t know the system behind it but we also didn’t expect to have to book a table to have drinks with my grandparents. As a company I’m confused as to why you would employ such a rude person to be the front of house. We walked straight out and went to a different pub.

Very disappointed. Booked back in December for our 5th anniversary for today at 1pm, turned up & it’s closed?! No communication whatsoever. Terrible service 👎🏻

Parece irónico que al celebrar 60 años de Pizza Express estando en el negocio que han eliminado posiblemente uno de sus elementos de menú más vendidos de su menú. Me decepcionó mucho que ya no hubiera ninguna pizza Calzone de ninguna descripción disponible para comer. La razón dada, al preguntar a un miembro del personal, fue que hace que el menú sea más simple, pero un montón de clientes lo piden! En un estado de desesperación opté por la Lasaña, de nuevo muy decepcionante, un cuenco de queso derretido sobre la capa más fina de carne picada, tuve que comprobar si realmente había carne presente, rematada con una sola hoja verde. Vamos Pizza Express por favor, debe haber más para celebrar su 60o año que esto.

Although it’s a hotel restaurant the food is good and the service excellent. It’s always fresh and hot with plenty of choice and fair sized portions.

We booked a table for 4 people on the banquet night and were given a corner table however considering there was few other people in the restaurant we were left waiting a long time to order our food. the waiter who took our order wanted to contend and challenge me about ordering a salmon tika at £12.95 despite the menu and leaflet we given that stipulated to the contrary "choose any item from our extensive menu" or £2.00 extra for king prawn we believe all of the waiters etiquette was appaling not professional and that the restaurant is clearly misleading customers under "the goods and services act 2015 of trading standards" stay well away!!!!!!

Thank you to the long haired male member of staff who helped me and my daughter yesterday. I was feeling unwell and had no patience for the touch screens. Thank you for helping me place our order. Food was good.

Although it says "dogs welcome" they are only allowed in the private room or outside. While drinks are served outside, they do not serve food outside except for ice cream from the hut. Prawns on a Mediterranean salad were very wet.

Terrible experience. Older asian chap. Rude. Paid first!? Then he forgets what I ordered and asks again raising his voice. Sandwich was not crafted properly or with care. Minimal ingredients and sauce. The plastic screens are still up suggesting it is the height of the pandemic. Will be complaining to Subway corporate.

The donner kebab was an outrageously small portion for the money and would be considered so even in central London let alone sidcup. Taste was OK, nothing special but not terrible by any means.
