The best restaurants in London

Today we had a wake at the White Eagle Club which was very good. The staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble Very satisfied and highly recommended

Terrible place, Kelly the old woman there, very rude and abrupt, dirty toilet’s, very untidy, and stomach ache after eating there. Never again, sunny side soft play tens times better. We’ve booked it for our daughters birthday 🥳.

Llegó y esperó a ordenar. La música era tan alta que el personal ni siquiera podía oír a los clientes hablar. Mencioné la sonoridad de la música y sarcásticamente se ofrecieron a bajarla (era volumen de discoteca). Ordené un tunacado para llevar. Esperé a que se hiciera mientras me ensordecía la música y veía al personal bailando y cantando en lugar de trabajar. La mujer detrás de mí también se quejaba del ruido. Me llevé mi sándwich a casa para encontrar prácticamente nada de aguacate y estaba demasiado salado para comer. En resumen, un mal y caro desperdicio de dinero.

I’m having a very nice caramel latte watching the staff. They are brilliant they greet everyone with a smile “ hello how are you, what can I get you “ all with a big smile attentive very pleasant place is very clean and cool a very pleasant experience

Basically a health food (vegetarian / vegan ?) shop. But there was a counter offering sandwich, quiche, and salad bowls. The roasted vegetable quiche was quite tasty (though it might me bought in ?). The filling in the egg sandwich also seemed bought in. There was plenty of it. However the bread was a real work out for my teeth. I abandoned the top part of the baguette. Even then biting through the bottom part was tough going. The coffee was OK. We are from out of London, and did not find it good value. Although staying in the area, not a place to re-use.

The world's slowest service. We've been here a few times now and each time it's the same. The place is nice and the food is good but we always get frustrated by the complete lack of service and how glacial slow it is. The waitresses see you are there but do things in their own time - which can be measured using a calendar not a watch. It's as if they are doing us a favour and we are inconveniencing them. Usually there are at least 2 staring at the coffee machine making 1 very slow drink at a time and ignoring all the people sat at tables waiting to order food. Such a pity that the front of house let's the place down. There are so many restaurants and cafes in this area - I think we will be giving some of them our custom and money in future as all else aside Affogato always leaves a frustrated and disappointed taste in the mouth

Espectacular espectáculo, pero la comida que se ofrecía era poco imaginativa, los alrededores eran como una cafetería barata con precios exorbitantes.

The place serves big portions and for fair prices. very welcoming staff members. Fantastic work.

Really awful food and poor service

Once you have been passed the vetting and profile procedure (not as bad as the rumours would have you believe) Then you are greeted at the front door like an old friend. It's amazing what the new management has done with the place and it has gone through an extensive refurbishment and I have to say they have done a great job. There is a great selection of fine wines from around the world and the chef is very knowledgeable and provides great recommendations to go with with your choice of topping. Be prepared for a long wait for your pizza as this spot gets very popular on a sunny afternoon the sophisticated switched on crowd seem to know when they are onto a good thing and don't mind the long wait, once you get your pizza you will have to be quick as they are quite delicious judging by the speed they disappear at. It's not that the crowd are greedy gobble gannets, it's because the pizzas are handcrafted with the best ingredients and the chef has only just qualified as a Pizzaiolo as is still finding his feet. I would be thrilled to receive another invite to this restaurant in the future and look forward to some more tasty pizza!

Traté de almorzar aquí con un amigo. Me dijeron a la 1: 30 pm que la cocina estaba cerrada a órdenes por el momento debido a la alta demanda (era el día de la media maratón de Royal Parks) pero que volvería a abrir a las 2 pm. Cuando regresé en ese momento, el gerente fue increíblemente grosero y me dijo que aún no estaban aceptando órdenes. Entiendo que estaban ocupados, pero yo estaba muy descontento con la actitud. Me hicieron sentir que no era razonable pedir pedir comida. En un pub. A la hora del almuerzo. El resto del personal estaba bien, pero la gerente realmente estaba decepcionando con sus habilidades de servicio al cliente

Absolutely no customer service skills! Very aggressive and combative when questioned about their incompetent staff instead of trying to find a resolution to the actual issue. Ambience is ok… slightly overcrowded. Food is mediocre - nothing special at all. Cocktails are ok. But their customer service brings everything else down so it’s completely pointless. Do not waste your money! Do not believe the hype! Definitely overrated!
