I’m having a very nice caramel latte watching the staff. They are brilliant they greet everyone with a smile “ hello how are you, what can I get you “ all with a big smile attentive very pleasant place is very clean and cool a very pleasant experience

While the coffee is good it is hard to find a seat simply because there are people sitting on a table for two with their coats over the other chair preventing anyone else sitting down. Some of these people sit there without coffee for ages using the free wi-fi on their computers. Tables are frequently full of dirty cups because the cafe is understaffed.

Server couldn’t hear or understand me, really!!? Also shushed me when I mentioned I was using my insurance app to get discount for the first time. Yes he actually Shushed me!!

I come here quite often as local and wfh. Although I always get tea with soya the staff are friendly and the shop is clean. Added bonus there is always dogs :)

ive been going here for years and before this "lady" started it would be 5 stars. She is a lady of larger size i think she's Italian or eastern eu but her attitude is really bad very aggressive and rude all the time even my 8 year old daughter asked me when we left what her problem is. This isnt a one of occasion either every time i go in normally on a weekend when shes working its a terrible experience i now try to avoid if shes working i'll go costa but i prefere nero.

I went into buy my usual breakfast which is a porridge and latte. I have been coming to this store for over a year now and haven’t had a problem with my porridge before. I received a runny porridge. I went back to the store and mentioned it to them. Kindly they replaced my porridge with a new one. When I came home again it was a runny. I went back to the store and told them I was unhappy with the service. The lady Giulia didn’t even say sorry.. when I asked for a refund she gave me a nasty look. This is unacceptable and will not purchase a porridge from here again. I suggest you train your staff appropriately as this is not the way to treat customers. I can understand mistakes can be made but customer service goes a long way.

So I ordered through click & collect a hot chocolate. It was freezing outside so went to pick it up but was slightly earlier. Once I picked it up the staff member said “make sure you wait until the order says it is ready” although when I walked in it was actually ready 🤷🏻♂️. She said it quite rudely when she didn’t need to because if you are ordering from in store you can be in store but not when “clicking & collecting” which doesn’t really make sense. Hot chocolate however was nice but shame about the service :)

I’ve been before and found service ok but this week the staff were off hand, preferring to serve the person behind me rather than me. Disappointed in their persuit of the track and trace system that should be voluntary. Their first duty should be to their customers to make their experience happy.

Now the lockdown is easing I really wanted to find ways to support my local businesses so I popped into Caffe Nero. I ordered a chai latte without cinnamon. It was hard to be heard as the member of staff wasn’t really paying attention. She was still serving someone else and didn’t even bother to look at me. It was quite confusing as the staff didn’t really engage properly with their customers to explain what was going on. Customers were taking the wrong drinks and were unaware of where their drinks would be found. I was given my chai latte liberally sprinkled with cinnamon. I pointed out that this was not what I ordered and had to wait for them to make another one. The original drink being completely wasted. Inefficient staff with poor customer service skills and appalling to just waste drinks. If you are going to charge £3.30 for a mediocre drink you need to really improve the customer service.

The place is full of little black flies. They get in your coffee and food, and can bit. I’ve told them about this before, but it seems they didn’t listen, as the situation seems to be getting worse and worse.

I would say that this place is rather expensive compared to other places. Also, sometimes we found that the tables were not always that clean, had not been wiped etc.,

Frappuccino took way too long and it wasn’t busy but the staff were really kind. The caramel frappuccino drink also tasted different to normal and in my opinion for the worse.

Great micro pub. Good selection of all sorts of beers and ciders plus has wine and spirits for those that want something different. Prices range from £4-£5 a pint.

The Costas on the posh side of Pettswood, not our usual stop but every now and again we pop over to the other side, nice people work there so well worth a visit 👍

Really enjoyed our time here. Specialty is Indian thali. Live music on in the evenings on some nights. Biker meet on Saturdays. Should be busier, the Indian food is exceptional. Great Harvey's too.

Went out with my family for lunch and had the steak sandwich which was delicious. The service was amazing as the staff were kind caring. Will definitely be going back in the future!
