Me and my son had lovely food at afters today. It was very scrumptious and by mistake then I left my earphones there which I realised later. Me and my son came back to search for it in Afters and the man at reception recognised us and handed over the earphones to us kindly. I could have given them 7 stars if I could for their service and honesty. Thank you so much

Ordered for for delivery which never arrived (despite claiming it was delivered). Tried to contact them over the phone, using the number provided online, but calls were repeatedly ignored / left to call out

It took more than 2 hours to prepare my order. Apparently it got delivered after 2hours. I wonder where my order is? Very disappointing. Definitely not going to order from them again. Such a waste of time.

The food was stone cold and not cooked. Every time I've order the food has got colder and colder. Very poor and have ordered everyday as I've found somewhere that does Rice Cakes!

I am outraged I’ve brought this product multiple times the bueno wasn’t even whole it was drenched in chocolate not nice chocolate (it was watery) all I wanted to do was sit down on a Friday and treat myself but no absolutely disgusting !

I did not get what I ordered , No waffles Just a bowl of cream and cream and strawberry which came in a bowl which looked a complete mess , Looked like someone had thrown up in a bowl , Most of the order missing , I had my grandson staying with me and it was a treat for him and he was very up set that he could not have what we ordered , We tried calling the restaurant but got know answer, I would like a full refund and an apology as my grandson only comes to stay with me only a few ti.es a year because he lives so far way and you rained his stay , Kind regards Kim

The best ice cream in Beckenham. Eat in experience is adequate but of course more expensive. Buy a cone and walk around the corner to Croydon Road Rec to savour it in they open air.

I ordered Belgium chocolate sauce on my own design and it came with white chocolate. I hate the taste of white chocolate.

Waffle was very delicious and warm on arrival. Ice cream was fanatic, milkshake could have done with a little bit more diam as it tasted mostly of ice cream. Also shame it was delivered upside down so there was a bit of spillage. Overall will definitely order again!!! We 💗 Afters

Gelato was filled with too many icicle particles and the waffle was mediocre. The prices are extortionate for what was provided. Tried someplace new, unfortunately, it wasn't great so won't be ordering from here again.

This place is awful! There service is extremely slow for a quiet restaurant. The Ferraro Roche waffle we ordered came with a mix of different nuts & chocolate sauce? This wasn’t nice at all nor was it Ferraro Roche. Everything just tasted stale, avoid this place! Don’t waste your money.

This is the second time in a row they have missed my order. No strawberries on my waffle. Not ordering ever again!!!

I order a waffle with fantastic Ferraro and got this nutty dry waffle instead. Unfortunately they closed at 11pm so I can’t return my order so I will be back to collect the correct order at a convenient time for me. Please accept this as my receipt and evidence when I return. Thanks

We went at this place on Monday 29th August at 9:45pm to have an icecream. We were 6 + a twin pram. We askew if we could sit at the bigger bench because of the pram and we’ve been told by a man that we couldn’t sat there. We are really disappointed and will never come back again. This place is not family/moms friendly. Don’t recommend.

Love Afters ice cream. The store front isnt fancy, but I do prefer Afters over Grom, Venchi Chocolate, and my old Dutch.

We had takeaway ice creams - they were fairly good and the service was friendly enough. I can see why you wouldn’t necessarily want to eat in as it’s not got fantastic ambience, but we’d go again for a takeaway.

Oh my! Where do I start. I had big expectations, looked nice on Google and it was pretty much the opposite. We're not going back there for sure. First of all, my son wanted ice-cream in a sport car plate ( sundae called Formula 1) cos he saw another kid having in that. Turned out there's ONLY 1 of those plates. When I asked shocked how could that happen, simply told me they can put it in a different plate if I wish. I guess there's a reason why the sundae was called Formula 1. 🤷🏼‍♀️ We ended up having it in a football plate (probably from the only one day had) Then I told them that my son would like to have only chocolate ice-cream, yet they made it with a mix of vanilla and chocolate. I sent it back. For the service we received £15 was a lot of money. Also how can they call it kids menu when I actually was full after 3 scoops and I also ordered kids sundae. So after all I definitely wouldn't recommend this place at all.

Came for a birthday celebration - and will definitely come back. Not only was the menu more than I or the kids ever work our way through, but they were all so tempting you'd want to give it a go! The service was excellent too. Friendly, helpful and relaxed, whilst remaining attentive. Just what you want on a Saturday afternoon.

Deserts delicious… service was terrible, had to ask to be served after standing at the till for ages being ignored. Then one staff member huffed at the thought of serving me. Overall not a great experience, staff were rude and won’t be returning.

The worse restaurant ever, how can they sell a waffle for £9 that actually fits thensize of my hand ? And cold and not properly cooked plus when a called them straight away for several time they did not bother picking up the phone plus requested a refund through just eat and their reply was that restaurant doesn't do refunds, please don't order from them anymore 😤🤬

IF ONLY I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD! Customer service non existent. No greetings, no words from the stuff, all they can do is laugh, who knows at what ... Disgusting experience, owner should really look into firing this people and get some good people to get the place back on track, at this steps they won't have any customers and the place will fail. DO NOT RECCOMED AT ALL

I went in for a milkshake, the 2 men working had 1 table to serve and didn't ask me if I wanted anything, I was then ignored while I was waiting to order so I walked out because I didn't want to give them my money. Basically the customer service was awful.

Great menu with lots of choices.

Ordered via Uber. I ordered a Kinder Waffle with Vanilla Ice cream. I received a kinder flavoured and Vanilla flavoured ice cream for £9.95. Uber refunded me £2 something but I want my full refund. Been trying to get hold of this place since I received my order and even been calling today and no answer. They will see me. Not happy at all and not ordering from them again.

What a waste of money - I asked for a spoon to go with my takeaway sundae three times. Didn’t get a spoon and the ice cream was a melted mess à result and inedible. Thank you for nothing!

Yummy ice cream flavors. Staff are nice, less busy than the K place 🤐 Quite small, which is good and bad.

Staff do not know what they are talking about when it comes to allergy and advice. Staff were unsure and unwilling to really help. We got told the ice cream he wanted was nut free. But they failed to mention the one next to it did and my partner had a reaction. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES.

I like how this guys approach all customers and they do all the things with love and respect!!! The sweets are very tasty and freshly made with all from the heart!!! I highly recommend this location 🙏

**Pre COVID** The delivery of the foods were amazing. Layout was spot on. Very helpful and friendly. I am a bit shocked how low the ratings are because we had a wonderful experience at this Afters. The food was so fresh and tasted unbelievable 👌🙌 I would definitely recommend this to people.

Terrible customer service. Very unfriendly staff with abit of an attitude. Not even one smile from any of them. Not an enjoyable place to have a desert.

Came in and received awful service from two Men who were not even obeying government guidelines. Then ordered a white chocolate cookie dough that was awful.

Not welcomed when we arrived. 2 young men behind the counter busy. Asked if we should just sit down as hadn't been there before and they just said sit anywhere in a (can't be bothered fashion). I had to ask if we ordered at the counter as it wasn't clear. I ordered a kids pudding and noticed he was putting whipped cream all over it. It should come with whipped ice cream so I told him - he said their machine is broken. I said I don't like cream. He put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on instead which was fine. I noticed he was putting minstrels on it and when he bought it over I asked where the buttons were as minstrels were not on the description. He put some buttons on top as well. My daughter had the choc fudge cake warmed up with hot choc fudge sauce. It looked like it had landed from a great height. Perhaps put the sauce separate in a jug. Great taste. Massive slice. Too sweet. She only ate half. I felt I was in the way, being awkward, self conscious and I won't be going there again. It was nearly empty and I can see why. It's such a shame cause kids (and adults) go there for a treat and are really excited beforehand and it would be lovely to be met with a smile and enthusiasm.

Unbelievable.. my food was prepared by a man with no mask and a glove on the opposite side. The other server wore his mask below his nose the whole time. There were no screens or attempts to ask others coming in ...a group of 8 for a party ...adults not wearing masks either What is the point? I didn't eat my food and will NEVER go back

Giving this place 1 star is too much!! I went there and asked for the menu and in return i received rude abrupt responses from the staff. Then I was waiting to be served for over 15 minutes, I asked one of the female members of staff if shes serving and she rudely walked away from the till and ignored my question. All the members of staff behind the till were just staring and speaking in their own language. I had to remove myself from the shop before I saw red. Do not go to this place they have no respect for customers and they do not know BASIC manners. Other than that the place was not following social distance rules, very unhygienic too (sticky tables etc). Save yourselves and don't go. I left the shop and crossed the road, directly opposite this mess of a shop is a dessert shop called "LOVE A SLICE" there they have manners, they are kind and their food is so nice!! Go there instead of "Afters". You'll receive great customer service and amazing waffles etc. DO NOT GO TO AFTERS!!!

Best place ever! Only my first time but will be returning soon! First come into the place, greeted by a staff and range of seats to choose from. Lots of choices to choose from! Perfect for sweet tooths, or any chocolate or dessert lover! Unfortunately they don't do the dine in fifty percent off, but I ordered a strawberry surprise which is strawberry and vanilla ice cream, with strawberries, Wafflers, cigar chocolate sticks and to my surprise it comes with a cake inside (of course of your choice of cake you can pick from). I chose the red velvet cake and this was buried under the ice-cream, and covered with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles which was just perfect temperature, not too cold! That was a wonderful surprise! My friends ordered chocolate fudge cake, red velvet cake, cookie dough, toffee ice-cream and drinks of hot chocolate and a mocha! All looks amazing! Especially the cups it comes in with, very unique! Wasn't awfully busy as we went around late afternoon timely, although it got quite busy towards the evening time! Toilets were available there too!

Place very messy ... Staff constantly talking in their own language, which is disrespectful ... Oh, also seen them making a milkshake using the same blender they've used for my nutty milkshake, you litteraly could kill someone .. disappointed .. won't be back again

My daughter placed an order last night with a delivery time of 10.45pm through Just Eat. Needless to say it never arrived and no call to either find out where she was or to explain what was going on. This is basic customer service. Won’t be using them again. Drivers, if you are unsure, call!!!

The best ice cream I've ever had! The flavor is identical to its name, the crust is crunchy. Good prices too. They make other treats with ice cream too. The place is cool too.

Dessert was great had so many choices I didn't know which one to choose they all looked so good. Can't wait to go back and treat myself again.

Booked a table for 10 people for a birthday with a week of anticipation, they did not have strawberry ice cream and run out of fresh strawberry we had to wait for them to run to sainsbury's staff not friendly at all Dissapointed

Bad service and a shoddy environment. Food was nice but it’s hard to get ice cream wrong so can’t really give them top marks for my cookie dough sundae, even though I waited what felt like a lifetime to get it and I even had to remind them I was waiting for it.

Shocking, waited 30 minutes for 2 waffles, while the restaurant was completely empty. The person making the waffles threw 2 away for god knows what reason, when the waffles arrived they wasn't fully cooked or warm, but not wanting to wait another 30 minutes for more waffles we ate half of it and left. Staffed seemed more interested in talking to each other and looking at their phones.

Excellent quality and great value desserts and coffees. Friendly and prompt service. Recommended.

Really awful experience. Ordered pancakes, waffles and a cake with some sides (cream, ice cream, fruit). Uber Eats presumably lost the important bits on the way (so we received no pancakes or waffles!!). Instead it looks like we paid £30 for 2 pots of fruit, a pot of cream, ice cream (in the wrong flavour) and a slice of cake (again, wrong flavour and bad quality). This ruined what was supposed to be a rare, special night in. Extremely disappointing - definitely will not waste our time with this place again.

Third time I’ve been here now with my children. Food is good but service is atrocious. Staff don’t greet you and I waited over 15 minutes to be served when there are hardly any other customers. Won’t be visiting again.
