Arrived and waited to order. The music was so loud staff couldn’t even hear customers talking. I mentioned the loudness of the music and they sarcastically offered to turn it down (it was nightclub volume). Ordered a tunacado to go. Waited for it to be made whilst being deafened by the music and watching staff dancing round and singing rather than working. The woman behind me was also complaining about the noise. Took my sandwich home to find virtually no avocado in it and it was too salty to eat. All in all a bad and expensive waste of money.

I am the victim of the crime that took place on February 2024, and I am writing this review, so you be extra careful when you visit Joe & the Juice café, 138A King's Rd, or any other branch of Joe & the Juice café. What happened is not acceptable, the behaviour of the café and its staff was not OK by any means and a crime like this should not happen again. I was feeling vulnerable and harassed by the thief who came from a back door used only by the staff and who eventually snatched my phone. I have strong evidence that the thief is one of the branch staff or somebody let in by the staff. The following is a summary of what happened including a summary for the evidence of why I believe the thief is one of the café staff: On February 2024, I visited Joe & the Juice café, 138A King's Rd, London SW3 4XB branch, as a customer to work on my laptop and have some tea. I sat downstairs besides the toilet entrance to connect my laptop to the socket and the CCTV camera was pointing in front of my seat. Around 5:30 pm, my phone got stolen after a long time of harassment from a thief (wearing a surgical blue mask) who appeared suddenly beside me once I sat, and who didn’t want to leave me alone. The following summarises what happened that makes me believe that the thief is one of the Joe & the Juice staff or somebody let in by one of the café staff: The thief came from a back door that is used only by the staff (there is a door just besides the toilet doors that the staff use to go upstairs) and I was sitting just beside the toilet entrance. I realised my phone got stolen right away after the thief left me alone, I followed him while he was climbing up the stairs, but the thief disappeared in 1 sec. I tracked my phone directly; phone and google track showed that my phone is still in Joe and the Juice café branch I was in and continued showing it’s in the café all the time. In fact, my phone is a kind of phones that it’s impossible to turn off without first unlocking it using either a code or my fingerprint, and I tracked my phone right away after the thief disappeared, it’s impossible he tried to use a software for example to turn my phone off. Based on this my phone was indeed in the café after it got stolen. I tracked my phone multiple time while in the café (using my laptop) and all the time phone and google track showed my phone still in the café, which closes at 10 pm. I asked the café manager to call the police directly once I realised my phone got stolen, but the manager did not call the police, rather she called the security. The security guys dealt with the situation in the worst way possible, they refused by all means to call the police, and refused to give me a phone to call to ask for help, to call my bank, network provider, freeze my cards etc. And once I tracked my phone and I said to the security that my phone is still in the café, they doubted me instead and made me I am the suspect, which crushed me the most. The café staff (including the customer service/care team) refused to cooperate with the police to provide CCTV footages both through email and in person visits (The camera was pointing exactly in front of me, so possibly could have showed everything happened) and they didn’t provide any reason for not cooperating. After around 2 hours from the incident, I managed to freeze my card which is itself inside the phone case, and the money was still there not used (because I guess my phone and everything inside its case never left the café in the 1st place). The following are more details about what happened: I sat downstairs beside the toilet entrance to connect to the socket (there are only 2 sockets downstairs, and one was used already). Using my phone, I connected to mobile data and I put my phone beneath my arms on the laptop (impossible anyone can snitch it while it’s there), and just the moment I started working on my laptop, a guy appeared suddenly (has a dark brown skin, and wearing black all over with black woollen hat and a blue surgical mask on his face). The guy surrounded me and my laptop and harassed me so much pretending he is disabled and cannot talk and tried to distract me by asking me to leave my seat, and continued harassing me for quite a while without clarifying what he wants, just tried to confuse me, and all the time I refused to leave my seat and asked him to leave me alone, but he never did. I tried to ask for help from the people around me without leaving my seat, there was a guy sitting alone just in front of me (looked Asian Indian) refused to help me, he looked at the thief and me and ignored my requests for help (he also refused to provide his name as a witness), that encouraged the thief to continue harassing me. The thief lost hope I would leave my seat, so he started to distract me by making an interaction and trying to communicate with the same guy sitting in front of me, which was the only moment I got distracted as I looked at the interaction between the two, and it was the moment my phone was snatched from beneath my arm. The thief walked towards the stairs, and I realised it directly that he snatched my phone while he was still climbing the stairs, I followed him directly, but once I got upstairs, he disappeared in less than a second. I directly told all the staff including the manager that I need to call the police. The manager did not call the police but sent the two security men instead who came after 10 min. The two security men were wearing red jacket like fire fighters (one looked more like Japanese or Korean while the other looked Pakistani or Indian) they were not helpful at all and, they made the whole experience even worse and much more damaging. When I tracked my phone and found that it is still in the café, the security behaved in a way as if am lying and as if I am the suspect myself (especially the security man that looked like a Japanese) which crushed me the most in the moment I was already panicking, with lots of fear, stress, and anxiety. I asked them many times to call the police, they refused, saying the police will not come for me, and they tried to shut my mouth up, by saying funny and nonsense things like the police is already surrounding the area to catch the guy for my phone!!!!! The security completely refused to give me a phone so I can ask for help, or call my bank freeze my cards, and call my friends for help saying all the time they are not willing to give me a phone. They only made my life worse, and more stressful, for example, the were just talking nonsense all the time, saying things like nothing happened, it’s just a phone, and that its completely ok if I don’t call the bank and lose money, as the bank will compensate!!! They just asked me to write a crime report. I told the police about the security behaviour, and the police were very surprised about this, and said the café or me should have called the police, and that they will always come, me obviously I could not call, as couldn’t get a phone. Around 2-3 hrs past and I was still in the café sitting on my seat, vulnerable and alone, and my legs were shaking like hell, could not even call my bank or reach my friends to ask for help, did not know what do, and all those hours passed and me could not do anything to secure my money, mobile applications, bank cards etc. This is because No one in the café helped me get a phone, I even could not go home while in the state of panicking and shaking. I was tracking my phone using my laptop, and all the time it was showing that my phone still in the café. Eventually after maybe 3 hours, one of the café staff gave me his phone, and I called my bank to suspend my online banking, and I froze my Manzo card, and 90 pounds were still there not used!! I left the café around 8 pm, the café closes at 10 pm. All the time there was no cooperation whatsoever from café staff or the café customer service with the police. The café refused to provide CCTV footage without giving any reason for not doing so, although CCTV footage could be very useful as I was sitting in front of the camera. And given its more than 28 days now, the CCTV footages now destroyed, the case is closed. The CCTV point alone, opened more questions about this case and the Joe & the juice branch. The whole experience was very traumatising, not only because I was vulnerable and harassed for a long time by the thief, and not only because the people in the café who ignored requests for help when I was getting harassed, but also by the café staff who were not helpful at all, especially the security men who made me more damaged when they refused to call the police or give me a phone and acting in away as if I am the suspect myself. I hope the café take measures that help crime like this doesn’t happen again.

I ordered and paid for a gluten-free sandwich and was given one which contained gluten. I have coeliac disease so contact with gluten is really serious. Within a few hours I was projectile vomiting and it didn't stop until my body had ejected every last grain of gluten. I've been unwell ever since. I'd urge anyone with an allergy to avoid this store and all other Joe & The Juice locations. I'm so so grateful my reaction wasn't more serious and this happened to me rather than someone with whose reaction could be fatal. I'll never eat here again and urge all coeliacs to do the same. Customer service aren't recognising the severity of the issue which evidences how lax the company is towards allergies.

Went with family , tables were all dirty , we cleared somewhere to sit ourselves Toilet was disgusting , I write to them to tell them , they said thanks for letting them know Juice was nice as always Sandwich just ok £50 for drinks and sandwiches, please keep the place clean

I went in to Joes and the juice at 745pm, the door was opened but chairs were all packed inside (it should online that closing time was 8pm, so understandable that there packing up) staff were ignoring me as I entered had to say excuse me several times, then I asked if they were open the lady looked at the guy and said no were closed.. so I asked when do you close? He said 7pm.. clearly he was lying because it was literally 745 doesn’t make sense that you have the door opened and you closed 45 minutes ago.. secondly it says 8pm so as a customer I expect to come in at 745 and be served and you should be packing up after 8pm... very disappointed with rude and dishonest staff!

Easy access and really nice too. Picked up a couple of drinks and was greated in a friendly and polite manner. The staff were total hotties ( espically the black guy making sandwiches her was such a cutie with his tie dye shirt and dreads). Deffo would recomend.

Nice place to sit outside looking out over Kings Road- if you don't mind the noise and traffic. Coffee was ok -I have had better. Service was slow, although it was extremely busy.

Visited Joe the Juice on a weekday lunchtime (13:00) which probably explained the slow service. Fast to take order but slow to deliver the juice. They have a downstairs toilet for customers , which is great, but when I visited it was dirty with one toilet blocked and no paper towels available.

A very sunny, very busy Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was chaotic but in a light hearted, friendly way. A very long wait for drinks and not the tastiest I have ever had. The outside seating area was untidy and scruffy, it needed a member of staff to do a little clearing, wiping and tidying and it would be fine. Not a bad experience, possibly would have rated average if it weren’t for the happy staff 😁
