Pret A Manger in Kensington and Chelsea

An Indian young man and an African employee refuse to give me coffee because I don't show them the QR code from the application, but I have a phone from another country and the Price application is not available there, and from google, they don't generate a QR code. I wanted to prove that I pay the 30£, but they are very insensitive and rude! POOR QUALIFICATION, A DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very rude staff. Even though I had the code they treat me very rude and shameless. How can someone hire this kind of people in central London. Zero customer service!!

This is absolutely rubbish. It would have been cheaper to go to Harvey Nicks and get tea and a scone for two. We thought Pret would be good value.  I think they needed to be more staffed. It was bustling, with only two staff.  Tea was lukewarm, Two sandwiches- too chilled to taste anything, and the butter in lumps Kombucha and a bottle of water Total £21- Terrible value.  Inside, tables were full of debris.  I felt sorry for the staff, as they were doing their best.  I did e-mail Pret. This was their response. 'We're all about Serving the freshest, highest-quality food and drinks, so when we get it wrong, we take it really seriously. Our staff is trained to strictly follow our food preparation procedures and ensure quality standards are met in all our shops. Your feedback has been passed to the shop managers so they can address this right away.'  I had a cold coffee served to me at the Kings Cross train Station branch. They used yo be reasonably priced. Now just expensive.

Shame to the company because you leave just one staff member to work on a Saturday morning when everyone is trying to get a coffee he is alone struggling. Well done to him. He works very well he’s fast but it’s not fair.

Grzegorz and his team are wizzards! They make that coffee appear out of nowhere and manage to make our day- everyday ! ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing customer service at this branch. The lady who served me this morning was so polite and friendly which is very hard to come by in London.

No score for atmosphere, it's a coffee shop. Went in for a cup of tea and hot chocolate. Service was pretty poor to be honest and a pretty good example of too many people trying to do the same thing and not actually doing it very well. As for the drinks? I mean the hot chocolate was decent enough. But as for the tea, if I'd have wanted dishwater I would have asked for it. I didn't though, I asked for tea. I mean seriously it's a bag, hot water, and milk... I would have taken it back but given the length of time it took to get it I decided I had better things to do. I like Pret, just steer clear of this one; if you do go in, avoid the tea.

Visited this year twice from Toronto Canada and Iam very happy with nice professional service and fresh yummy sandwiches.Mr Grzegorz I'd definitely Number One customer service.I highly recommend everyone to enjoy coffee,and good selection of sandwiches.

It’s a restaurant so food makes or breaks it… if you don’t LOVE mayo, stay away. Tried a turkey, avocado sandwich and it was literally swimming in mayo. It wasn’t very appetizing but if you like that, this is your place.

I would like give you more stars but it’s really uncomfortable find me every time I go the closed bathroom. Like I regular customer with my subscription I’m thinking if it’s worth it.

I tried the protein and fibre packed Shakshuka today. The lady was working there said it is just came in yesterday so she recommended to eat. I trusted her recommendation and it was very delicious. It was totally different from the original shakshuka, full of spices and good. I fancied that with a poached egg but obviously it is hard boiled egg or it gets harden as it stand on the hot shelves. It was very filling and I would buy that again. The lady was working there was very friendly and social. Happy to help anyone and I highly recommend this branch to visit if you are local in the area.

Subscription not working and send you somewhere else. Is their problem . They should give a solution

Every single day the same problem with this shop.Dont understand why they dont fill up the cups properly with coffe.Have to tell to the stuff every day to put some more milk or coffe!

I found hair on my focaccia And when I told a lady blond working there with a guess black t shirt that I found a hair she just bin them toasted focaccia she did not apologise or offended me something Else . Worst pret I ever been !

One particular staff was rude to me. I tried to use my subscription and was told it has just been used so got rejected, which is ridiculous because I never shared it with anyone! Something obviously went wrong. It wasn't a busy time, there was only one person in the que behind me, and there were more than one staff, I politely asked if I could try again but instead of investigating into the issue or looking for a solution, that staff shouted "that's enough" at me. Until now I still feel disgusted.

Busy area, quite small and cramped if there are more than 5 people inside. Food and service up to the usual Pret high standard.

When choosing a vegetarian option, the food you purchase should not have contact with any bone foods. Which I thought was common sense. I witnessed the gentleman serving me place my toastier sandwich in the grill on the same sheet used to heat a meat sandwich. He only whipped the surface of the sheet. This is really wrong. I cancelled my order and was given a refund. When I pointed it out and my refund was given, the just went on and heated another customer’s food in the same sheet. This practice should be looked into.

Un petit prêt à manger, avec moins de choix qu'habituellement et bien trop peu de places assises.

I used to love Pret a Manger, quality food, really tasty and fairly cheap. Since a bit ago I notice that the quality decreased and it is not the same as it used to be, something has changed. Please bring the old Pret a Manger back!

Morning coffee and pastry opposite Harrods in Knightsbridge.... only thing missing is the sunny weather 😎!

Place extremely messy, tables not clean and floor dirty.

Unfortunately it is card only, I wanted to pay cash, luckily for me I had a debit card, while having my food a man came in and only had cash, I noticed him after I left sitting outside another restaurant eating his breakfast and drinking his coffee. Cash is king!

Ottimo sandwich preparati freschi, insalata baguette bibite e cibi caldi. Ottima caffetteria e tanta scelta.

Much too small for the area and to cope with the floods of people. Queue always out the door.

Shop is fine and the staff are great. But they are rarely if ever actually open on time. So if you build your morning around a visit first thing forget it.

Handige zaak waar je snel een broodje en koffie kan halen. Overal door Londen liggen meerdere zaakjes dus ze zijn niet te missen.

Tea was nice, staff served quickly but I am shocked to see the shop telling everyone they are closing 1 hour and a half before the stated time on the door, staff had put chairs up and cleaning chemicals were laying out on the tables. Everyone was rudely told that everything is takeaway only and my cup of tea had loads of tea leaves floating in it. Not the usual experience that's for sure.

Terrible attitude to service. They do not take cash. They do not have any signs on the door stating the fact. They do not care about your business. Will take my business elsewhere.

Customer service is disgusting, I wanted a smoothie they close at 4 I arrived at 3.40 they were not bothered to clean the items so instead they said the smoothie was finished and there was no more. They did not say sorry or explain the reason. My self I work in retail and this customer service was extremely terrible.

Cash payment is an issue in this branch. I have been going there for years and after Covid closure they seems to have a strange policy about a cash payment. Sometimes you can pay in cash , sometimes not. It's funny when they explain that it is just today's inconvenience and you are coming after few days and the excuse is the same.

This store is not accepting cash, so I took my business elsewhere..

Never in my life didn’t saw pret with almost empty shelves as well toilet didn’t work what I find really unhygienic you can’t even wash your hands before eating. Staff doesn’t feel friendly as well.

Awful customer service. Toilet is already closed 2hours before. Asked the closing time received “very soon” as an answer. Later I have been informed that the closing time is 7pm.

It is always great to see that you get what you expect, the quality and taste are always consistent here. This is my breakfast and lunch place Mon-Fri

Toilet not working. Seems to be a frequent occurrence, based on the well-worn 'out of order' sign they have readily available. The empty shelves were a problem and it was 90 minutes ahead of closing time. Glum staff on the counter (who seem really unhappy with their jobs), said it was due to 'a busy day', adding that I could go to a Pret down the road, only to be corrected by a colleague who said it's closed. Manager was unduly defensive in response to a carefully gently asked query about the toilets. I suspect there's some complacency here, stemming from being in such a busy area, where footfall is plentiful.

Me and my colleague bought the same sandwich for lunch and after couple of hours we started to feel weird and ended the day with a really bad stomach ache and nausea. Maybe next time you do sandwiches use not expired food

This Pret is the nicest I've been in. I hurt my leg earlier the day I walked in, and the lovely manager helped me find a seat as I was hobbling around. The nicest and most friendly staff!

The manager here was very rude about not having vegan products. He was super argumentative and replied that he was only human and began to rudly explain why I had to wait for a sandwich. I asked him why regular food was made and the vegan sandwiches were last, and he was very rude as if my question was unforgivable. Please learn to have compassion for customers you can't accommodate and please learn to listen, the talking over me made this more uncomfortable that it needed to be. I will not be going back into Pret, great coffee awful staff! Be careful!

I like pret as the hot meals are always available when your in a rush. Downside is they dont have a toilet but no biggie. Nice one pret!

I went to several Pret locations across London to pick up lunch or snacks. I love a good sandwich, and they have several tasty options. My fav was the Bam Chicken sandwich.

Pregnant wife went to order a coffee and croissant for our son. Made the coffee and then told her card machine wasn’t working. Said she should’ve told them she didn’t have cash before ordering!! Threw the coffee away.

This location keeps the high standards of the chain! Friendly service with great coffee selection, sandwiches, baked goods, fresh fruit, and other drink options. I enjoy the cranberry & raspberry flavor drink. This location is smaller than most locations but they have plenty of outside seating.

A fairly standard Pret with the usual selection of sandwiches, snacks, drinks etc. This branch as others have mentioned is quite compact my Pret standards. The service is the usual friendly, happy smiley faces as part of the Pret experience.

Très pratique pour manger à toute heure. Un large choix de produits froid ou chaud. On manque souvent de places assises par contre, dommage !

We like what "Pret a Manger" offer : excellent Coffee, a good range of tasty Snacks, and generally friendly and competent Staff, so we briefly stopped-by at this particular Outlet, which is quite close to that somewhat overwhelming emporium, "Harrods". Space is extremely tight here - there are only a few seats inside, but (weather permitting) you could consider parking yourself at one of the greater number of tables outside. Staff were as friendly, chatty & competent as we have come to expect with this Chain - we were fortunate to find a corner indoors, and enjoyed our Coffees & Shortbread Biscuits/Cookies, [as well as some badly-needed (Tap) Water, which is freely available], watching the continuing succession of people who came and went, purchasing "Takeouts". On our way out, we yielded to the temptation to purchase one of their environment-friendly, colourful Reusable Cups, which we have already put to good use - even though the Coffee we have put in it has not always been as flavorsome as what's consistently available at "Pret a Manger" Outlets!
