Excellent service with friendly staff

I heard it was a famous chain. It was convenient to order and pay directly through the app, and since we had bread for breakfast, the two of us ate a set of chicken and two sides. It was a reasonable amount. But other locals even ate their babies on a plate...?

Mandi’s is Excellent! Great grilled chicken with any amount that you want. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or whole chicken. Many spicy sides to choose from. The sauces are to die for. Pick your own bottle or two, three, or more for your table. Full your own sodas as needed. Highly recommended.

Great friendly staff and the food is delicious too.

Order just came in and it tastes horrible! Do yourself a favour and don’t bother.

Freshly arrived in London, we wanted to try the restaurant "Nando's" located near our hotel. We were delighted with the experience: the team is very welcoming and smiling, the food was excellent and we loved Diego who took care of us throughout the meal. Many thanks to you all!

Very odd experience. The place was very gloomy when we entered to grab dinner, one of the staff girls was sitting down in a corner and told us what they didn’t have on the menu. She never got up from the chair she only wave at us to find a place to sit. The other half of the staff was ok but nobody seemed to care that much. The food was actually very good but the overall experience was very odd.

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT We came in enquiring about a table. We were asked to wait to be seated. After waiting for a few minutes, a group of 5 males joins the queue after us. A waiter comes in and calls the group of 5 males (the waiter was of the same nationality as the group of 5 males) from the back of the queue with an explanation “they were here first” and takes them to the table. I am submitting this racist incident to the police. We ordered a bottle of wine. The same waiter comes in with a bottle was open and only about 3/4 full. When we pointed out to that, she replied that she opened it and tested the wine for us (!!). She understood she was in the wrong and left with the bootle. After a few minutes she comes back with the same bottle of wine which was open and unusually full (the liquid amount was about 1cm below the lid level). We didn’t accept that which disappointed the waiter and made her nervous and rude, we asked to bring a bottle and to open it in front of us which she resisted doing advising that the company policy doesn’t allow her to open a bottle in front of us (which is certainly not true as it was always opened in front of us during our previous Nando’s visits). A battle of buying a bottle of wine took about 30mins. When we asked to talk to a manager above the above matters she said that she was a manager and there is no person above her to escalate the issues we experienced to. This visit was a huge disappointment and I will certainly not be returning after being a loyal customer of Nandos for more than 10 years.

The Fino Pitta very recommended, juicy chicken and delicious halloumi and the corn incredibly good!

Nice place, nice stuff. Tasty. Butterfly chicken - nice taste, small portions. Vegan dish - 5/5, small portion.

That was best mac and cheese that ı eaten in my life

Yesterday (20/01/24) myself, a friend and our children had lunch in the Notting Hill branch of Nando’s. My first annoyance was being told I could only order online which wasn’t working out for me. I only wanted 2 glasses of wine which meant 10 mins of faffing with a glitchy website so decided best I go talk to a human. First guy I spoke to didn’t seem to know what wine was so went to fetch another guy who then said it could only be done online so I handed over my phone, but then he decided to use the till in front of him. I’m not sure what’s worse human inadequacy or computer says no. Both a bit annoying. Anyway, time got away with us and we needed to leave but I hadn’t finished my wine. I asked for a take away cup but was told they didn’t have any so went next door to another take away place and got a paper cup to decant. When I got back to Nando’s the manager had confiscated my glass of wine and said I had to drink it there because it wasn’t allowed to leave the premises. I decanted my wine I had paid for and said I appreciate its policy not to allow it but it would be irresponsible for me to down a glass of wine and as I had paid for it, I was going to take it. He implied he would call the police because I was breaking the law. Regardless of the technicalities- WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!?? Pick your battles, you can advise people of your POLICY but please do your company a favour and get a GRIP. If I had time I would have hung about to see what the police had said to this manager. My wine, my cup and my responsibility. It was one of the most ridiculous interactions I’ve ever had. So, if anyone intends on taking away the drink they’ve paid for, bring your own take away receptacles 🥳

The staff is basically useless. They make you order online right after they gave us the menu and didn’t say anything regarding this. After figuring out ourselves they still managed to mess up the order.

My friend got really bad food poisoning here in the summer! Prior to this it was a good spot for Nando’s. Such a shame.

This is my first time trying Nando's and was very disappointed. I wanted the butterfly burger, but they just gave me the butterfly chicken breast. My receipt does say butterfly chicken breast and I did not check till I was back at my hotel, so that is partially my fault. The person who took my order must have misheard me. The chicken was very, very dry and seemed to have very little flavor. I got the medium flavoring but it tastes mild to me. The chips and Mac and cheese were good. But they did not give me any utensils. Apparently they didn't have any. I'm visiting London and had to ask my hotel for utensils.

Just left my hotel room nearby because of plumbing issues and I needed a meal to cheer me up I grabbed some chicken tenders and chips to go I opened the bag and took a massive bite out of my chicken It tasted rancid and I looked down and to my dismay the chicken was so raw I thought it was going to run away from me and by that time the nandos would've been closed and I had finished the chicken and I have salmonella 0 out of 10 would not recommend

Hemos ido a comer, la temperatura exterior era de 0 grados y en el local la calefacción no parecía ni estar encendida. Gente comiendo con abrigo. Su respuesta ha sido que no la puede subir que nos movamos a la entrada que hace más calor, tratándonos de una manera desagradable además de ser mentira. La comida muy buena pero el trato de sobre todo el gerente nefasto.

Hey there , I would like to share my experience in Nandos in Notting Hill . So basically the food was amazing and delicious as usual but I would like to mention something which’s the Manger was extremely rude and not polite at all , he doesn’t listen and try to be bossy sometimes . He was absolutely mad and stress because we ask him to get us a table so I will def not come to this store because of his altitude and his behave .

Extremely dishonest. Terrible attendance. I was at the restaurant this week. I was very poorly attended and decided to leave the establishment without the meal due to the service. I asked for the refund of the amounts. The manager agreed and then demanded my details such as credit card number, name, email and telephone. This was totally unnecessary because he could have done it right away at the cash register. To make matters worse, he never refunded the amounts.

The location was clean The staff were friendly I'd recommend it. You order your food viva a qr code which seems to be standard practice for nandos. There was signal to order online but the staff were happy to take your order as well.

Todo muy bueno y menos de 50£ por dos adultos y dos niñ@s. Siendo Londres y los precios que se manejan, está genial. Especialidad en pollos a la brasa. La tarta de nata me ha recordado a las de Portugal 100% 🤤

Service was quick and friendly. Food was mostly good (except the creamy mash, which was like cement), and portions were just a little on the small side. But we liked it overall. As Americans, we especially loved the soda fountain with free refills.

Standard Nando’s, what else can you say? Service was a little slow when I visited with my friends - they were pretty much half way through their meals by the time I got mine.

This place absolutely lacks awareness, my food took over thirty minutes to be ready and I’m dining with-myself. The staff walk around laughing whilst making jokes together, when the food is visibly sitting there. I’m very unhappy with this service and please do better.

Staff acted very strangely about seating, and missed multiple items off orders

Did not have that great of an experience. Had trouble using a giftcard which was clearly able to use and cashier said it wouldn’t work even though he was swiping it the wrong way the first few time and didn’t seem to be putting in effort for it to work so ended up having to pay full price as I needed a meal before going onto an event nearby… staff were stood around and hovering over me whilst I was trying to eat which wasn’t very enjoyable. Everyone seemed very stressed. Went to the toilets and two of them were full of sick whilst the third one had poo stains all over it so the staff should’ve been using their time wisely… “manager” did come over and apologise for the giftcard incident by offering a free brownie but I was not interested. Will not be visiting again.

Appalling service. After ordering, the option of a set menu allowing for a dessert - I chose the frozen one. Once my food came I was told just to let them know when I wanted the dessert. I waited 15 mins after finishing dinner. As I was sat in the very back corner, no one was attentive enough, and everyone seemed busy stuffing delivery bags. Deciding to go to the till area, I was ignored by 3 staff who were not serving people in the restaurant, but doing tasks behind the desk. For a whole 3 mins!!! I gave up and walked out without dessert. I don’t be back.

It was a nice experience. The food was pretty good. Friendly people and nice environment. A very few places like this in London, where you can eat well in a reasonable price. 👍👍

Have eaten well over 300 meals at nandos. Quite easily the worst nandos I’ve had. Staff extremely rude and un-accommodating.

Me quedé un poco decepcionado, me lo habían puesto por las nubes, y en mi opinión, es algo flojo. Hay platos que están bien, pero otros, secos como la mojama. El servicio, no está mal, un poco secos, pero, bueno, los británicos tienen su carácter y nosotros, el nuestro, no es algo para criticar. En resumen: no está mal, pero me pareció un KFC, y prefiero Popeye's; no obstante, por ir una vez y conocerlo, no pasa nada.

Always perfect.. I surprised its booming in London

Went here with a group of friends and it honestly felt like the staff were annoyed that they actually had to work. Service was awful. Everything for them felt like alot of effort. The drinks area was dirty and really smelly. Ice machine broken. Water like warm. Drinks station stunk of stale juices. No sauces anywhere. Wasnt even that busy. Also portion sizes were small especially when prices have gone up. Definitely not the best nandos I've been to. Definitely not going there again

Went here for lunch. It was quiet and the food was as you’d expect from a Nando’s - hearty and tasty, for a pretty affordable price. Staff were okay but seemed quite rushed around despite it being a quiet lunchtime.

I guess Nandos out of stock in supplying chicken . Bought a 4 piece of chicken thigh in hot sauce with 2 sides. It looked a leftover chicken just tossed it on the grill, tasteless and bland. Went straight into bin. waste of money. I doubt if that even a chicken thigh. Sad to see this branch is not doing great.

I was the 1th of January and the staff was very busy and still friendly and professional.

After what was a day of a complete disaster of a day we were walking down Baywater Road starving and really hoping to find some food. My wife had an allergy so we can it can be difficult to get food. Once we went in and met Jeyson (the manager) who put us very at ease that we would be able to eat with no need for concern. He personally took our order and made sure the staff were aware there was an allergy order and to be careful. The food that arrived was absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy and full of flavour. At the end of the meal we asked Jeyson to pass on our thanks to the staff which he did immediately. We cannot thank the team enough.

Food was good - it’s Nando’s so no complaints there. But the staff were very dismissive and rude. We were told to sit & wait for a table for 2 to come available. Whilst we were sat waiting another couple came in and got taken straight to a table by a different waiter, and then we had to continue to wait until the man who had told us to sit finally found us. We were then told that you had to order on the app. When you order a drink on the app you have to specify exactly what drink you want - Fanta, coke, sprite etc. so just ordered 2 to get the glasses under the normal understanding that you can have whatever from the machine. When we got the glasses there were no full sugar drinks, just diet drinks. I can’t drink diet drinks as they give me a headache so I asked one of the waiters if we could get a refund for the 2 drinks and just have water instead. We were told that we must have ordered a diet drink as the app didn’t show the full sugar drinks and so he couldn’t give us a refund. So effectively paid £7 for a couple glasses of water. Very unhelpful staff, as if we’d been served by a human this simple misunderstanding could have been easily resolved. This was my first time at this branch, normally go to the one at High Street Kensington where I have never had a problem. Won’t come back to this one again.

The usual Nandos food, very tasty sauce but the frozen yogurt option was not available nor was baked corn as a side dish. In addition the soda machine was not working properly for all soda tastes

Arrived it was 5pm got an seat straight away. Very quiet .Sat at the back. Near stairs where reasonly had ceiling caved in.with kids🤔. Cold and damp smell. No music playing in the branch. Food arrived within 5 minutes. It was cold . Was disappointed as I took my daughter out for birthday meal.i couldn't ask them to give us hot as my daughter needed food ASAP due to Medical needs. Drinks was disgusting, no fizz in any of the drinks I paid for. An massive disappointment for Notting hill gate location. I wouldn't recommend this branch.. Personally I should of get an refund do to the quality of the food standards.
