I don’t usually write bad or negative reviews, but in this case I have to. This is not the first time we visit nandos, but it has been years since the last time and we were excited to eat there again. What we didn’t know is that we would end up being really mad about the service and how they treated us. First of all, the guy that sat us (he was the cook) had 0 energy and mumbled the information about their menu. Then, the girl that took our order (at 8:34pm) seemed really out of it, as if not understanding what I was asking her (3 starters and the main course without the sides because we wanted everything together). Here starts the problem. The starters came relatively fast, even though they got one of them wrong, which is okay! everyone makes mistakes. The first problem here was that they started to question me about the starters and felt accused. At the end, I was right because I knew what I ordered and had to show them the ticket and left me alone. Too alone… Because our starters were done being ate 20 minutes after they arrived (we tried to hold ourselves and we couldn’t because we were hungry) and expected to have our chickens soon… well… we had to ask for them. Here comes the second problem. We ordered our chickens at 8:34pm and ended up getting them at 9:37pm because they probably ended up forgetting us, but when asking them about it, once again I felt like I was doing something wrong. The woman that looked like the manager told me that they usually serve the chicken after the starters (but by that time, which was almost half 9) we already finished and non of their servers passed by to get our plates or check if we were even done so… how would they know if we were done?? I was already mad, so I replied to her that we were done and that we asked specifically to the girl that took our order to be all together because we didn’t want the sides on the chicken. After that she apologised, but we were already upset about this whole interaction and even though the chicken was at nandos level we were just really upset and I even felt bad for staying longer than their closing time. On the other hand, I can see I’m not the only person complaining about the staff, so I hope this branch can find a solution or at least give their staff a proper and basic costumer service training.

I had a very bad experience in this venue 3 times already with the same staff Prachi . The first time was when I come to dine in and she before asking me if I had finished, took my plate and my glass of drink out. And she doesn’t apologised for that, instead she just looked at me angry . I would like to report her behaviour straight away , I didn’t because I thought she wasn’t in her best day and I just forgot about it . However the second time I came to get a takeaway order and she was very rude and aggressive when I asked her for extra sauce. The last time was even worst, when again I came to get a takeaway order and when she came to give my order she just threw the bag on the counter and leave me there. Then I call her back and I asked why she did that instead of giving me the bag on my hand. Then she starts to argue with me and said she doesn’t want to speak to me , if I was unhappy to complain to her manager. The manager Laise saw everything. I came very often to this venue and Prachi is always rude and in a bad mood. I hope the head office take action on this matter and I hope it never happens again. Otherwise I’ll take this personal.

Having frequented other branches before, I have always experienced kindness and a warm welcome, which is why Nando’s became my go-to restaurant for dining out. However, this particular branch left us with a sour impression. After being served our last meal, we were asked to leave just 15 minutes later; one of us was still eating at the time. This abrupt request felt rushed and entirely uncalled for, particularly as we were still enjoying the remainder of our time together. When I expressed my concerns to a supervisor, hoping to address the rude behaviour we had encountered, I was met with dismissiveness. The supervisor curtly explained that the restaurant was busy, and they needed us to vacate quickly. I understand that restaurants can face high demand, but this does not excuse the lack of basic courtesy or professionalism. This behaviour stands in stark contrast to the consistently excellent service I have received at other Nando’s branches. That said, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the gentleman who was working there on the day. He was kind, welcoming, and consistently checked on us throughout the evening. His presence made a real difference and was the only bright spot in what was otherwise a disappointing experience. I hope this feedback encourages the management at this location to reflect on their approach to customer service. A little kindness and understanding go a long way.

Date of Visit: 21st September 2024 Time of Visit: 20:15 Number of People: 3 We arrived at the restaurant on the evening of September 21st and requested a table for three. The manager at the entrance informed us that we would need to wait, as a group of five was ahead of us. After waiting for 30 minutes, another group of four arrived and was seated immediately without waiting. When we asked about this, the manager claimed that larger parties were prioritized, and that the table was for four people, so we would still have to wait for one appropriate for a group of three. This felt deeply unfair and humiliating. The manager’s attitude was unacceptable, and we left due to the poor treatment. While I understand that large chain restaurants like Nando's may not pay much attention to individual reviews, I want to warn others that this location prioritizes larger groups over fairness, even if you've been waiting longer. Be prepared for a disappointing experience if you're not in a large party.

We went here a few days ago for my eldest son's 7th birthday meal with the family. I was very impressed with the measures they have in place for those with allergies. My youngest has a nut allergy and the kitchen and all staff were alerted straight away. They were very thorough and very patient ensuring that all of the ingredients were friendly for my son. I felt like we were in safe hands. The staff, especially the manager were amazing with my little one who is autistic. Definitely recommend 👍

First meal with my sister in London (ever), and met with appalling staff. Brunette staff on 01/08/24 at around 15:00 made us feel extremely uncomfortable, grabbing plates without a saying a single word, and not making eye contact. The blonde employee was too busy scrolling away on Instagram Reels or TikTok (see picture). Never seen anything like it. Will never be coming back to this Nandos again. Manager needs to sort himself and the team out. Would recommend others to go to a different Nandos for a better customer service experience. Food was good as usual for Nandos but appalling staff.

We couldn't figure out what the function of the chicken figure left on the table was :) You place the order by scanning the QR code. If your order does not arrive within 10-15 minutes, please go to the cash register and confirm your order. There may be a glitch in the system. The employees are really friendly and caring. When we said you were a foreigner, they showed us how to order.

Fuimos a celebrar el Día del Padre con la familia. Cuando llegó la comida, el pollo fue primero. Llevamos media hora esperando que nos sirvan patatas fritas y otros alimentos. Es totalmente ridículo que se sirviera otra mesa y la mitad de nuestro pedido llegara 30 minutos después. Las camareras realmente no pueden hacer nada, ya que el personal de la cocina estaba en un lío con los pedidos.

This branch has been my family’s local branch for years since we moved to Notting Hill in 2014. However today we wont be coming back. My husband had already almost finished his food by the time my food arrived. But that isnt even the worst. Why did this branch put the worst staff to be front of House? She tried to make a funny joke insisting we were a party of 3 despite letting her know our 3 month old wont eat. The most abysmal part of our evening was this same woman coming to my husband and I when my Baby was crying. She made us feel very I comfortable - one of the staff mentioned she doesnt speak English but her body language was communicating that my baby’s cry was too loud and trying to coach us that perhaps it is gas - it is not gas. Babies are supposed to cry but as first time parents she made us feel self conscious about our crying Baby in a busy restaurant. As a result RUINED our evening. My husband could no longer continue eating and took my Baby outside to calm down whilst I ate Dinner alone inside the restaurant. another member of Staff Elizey however (mixed raced looking, curly hair was so Lovely. She opened the restaurant Patio doors so that my husband can come back in the restaurant with our Baby. Sorry but wont be coming back to this branch.please do not put a staff member front OF House if they lack customer Service etiquitte and Communication. It could break or make your customer’s evening.

Nando’s actually really surprised me with how good it is. It is very convenient & affordable but they give you quite a bit of food for what you pay. Now I will say you HAVE to see the sauces offered otherwise it’s a little bit dry grilled chicken but with the sauces, it’s absolutely delicious.

Mandi’s is Excellent! Great grilled chicken with any amount that you want. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or whole chicken. Many spicy sides to choose from. The sauces are to die for. Pick your own bottle or two, three, or more for your table. Full your own sodas as needed. Highly recommended.

Very odd experience. The place was very gloomy when we entered to grab dinner, one of the staff girls was sitting down in a corner and told us what they didn’t have on the menu. She never got up from the chair she only wave at us to find a place to sit. The other half of the staff was ok but nobody seemed to care that much. The food was actually very good but the overall experience was very odd.

A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT We came in enquiring about a table. We were asked to wait to be seated. After waiting for a few minutes, a group of 5 males joins the queue after us. A waiter comes in and calls the group of 5 males (the waiter was of the same nationality as the group of 5 males) from the back of the queue with an explanation “they were here first” and takes them to the table. I am submitting this racist incident to the police. We ordered a bottle of wine. The same waiter comes in with a bottle was open and only about 3/4 full. When we pointed out to that, she replied that she opened it and tested the wine for us (!!). She understood she was in the wrong and left with the bootle. After a few minutes she comes back with the same bottle of wine which was open and unusually full (the liquid amount was about 1cm below the lid level). We didn’t accept that which disappointed the waiter and made her nervous and rude, we asked to bring a bottle and to open it in front of us which she resisted doing advising that the company policy doesn’t allow her to open a bottle in front of us (which is certainly not true as it was always opened in front of us during our previous Nando’s visits). A battle of buying a bottle of wine took about 30mins. When we asked to talk to a manager above the above matters she said that she was a manager and there is no person above her to escalate the issues we experienced to. This visit was a huge disappointment and I will certainly not be returning after being a loyal customer of Nandos for more than 10 years.

Yesterday (20/01/24) myself, a friend and our children had lunch in the Notting Hill branch of Nando’s. My first annoyance was being told I could only order online which wasn’t working out for me. I only wanted 2 glasses of wine which meant 10 mins of faffing with a glitchy website so decided best I go talk to a human. First guy I spoke to didn’t seem to know what wine was so went to fetch another guy who then said it could only be done online so I handed over my phone, but then he decided to use the till in front of him. I’m not sure what’s worse human inadequacy or computer says no. Both a bit annoying. Anyway, time got away with us and we needed to leave but I hadn’t finished my wine. I asked for a take away cup but was told they didn’t have any so went next door to another take away place and got a paper cup to decant. When I got back to Nando’s the manager had confiscated my glass of wine and said I had to drink it there because it wasn’t allowed to leave the premises. I decanted my wine I had paid for and said I appreciate its policy not to allow it but it would be irresponsible for me to down a glass of wine and as I had paid for it, I was going to take it. He implied he would call the police because I was breaking the law. Regardless of the technicalities- WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!?? Pick your battles, you can advise people of your POLICY but please do your company a favour and get a GRIP. If I had time I would have hung about to see what the police had said to this manager. My wine, my cup and my responsibility. It was one of the most ridiculous interactions I’ve ever had. So, if anyone intends on taking away the drink they’ve paid for, bring your own take away receptacles 🥳

This is my first time trying Nando's and was very disappointed. I wanted the butterfly burger, but they just gave me the butterfly chicken breast. My receipt does say butterfly chicken breast and I did not check till I was back at my hotel, so that is partially my fault. The person who took my order must have misheard me. The chicken was very, very dry and seemed to have very little flavor. I got the medium flavoring but it tastes mild to me. The chips and Mac and cheese were good. But they did not give me any utensils. Apparently they didn't have any. I'm visiting London and had to ask my hotel for utensils.

All I need is a smile in the morning! Daniela, the Spanish lady is my favourite barista all the time. She has a really friendly approach and she is making the best coffee in that particular store. Well done and thank you all. 😊👍🙏💋
