ANOTHER STOLEN PHONE - my friend's phone was stolen yesterday at this Pret. We were sitting at a table and she walked in and under the guise of trying to get money/food from us, slipped my friend's phone from the table. When we mentioned this to the staff, they acknowledged they have seen that person before but aren't able to share the CCTV footage. It is extremely concerning that there are previous reviews of this for this same location but neither the cafe owner nor the police have done something about catching these thieves. It has cost my friend a lot of money and her mental well being. Extremely disappointing that the cafe is taking these regular acts so lightly.

Don't visit this cafe! My phone got stolen by a lady wearing a mask. She came in through the doors and me and my friends were sitting at the back of the cafe. She was wearing a blue covid mask and had a flyer in hand. She kept asking for change and when we refused She kept us distracted through mumbling and acting weirdly. She was probably not alone and there were other people from her gangsitting around us. The Pret employees did not help us at all. They do recognize the woman but did nothing to stop them from entering or warning us about it.

HOTSPOT FOR STEALING PHONES! My friends and I were sitting at this pret yesterday and a lady wearing a mask walked in. She had a flyer in her hand, which she tried to show us, mumbling something and asking for money. When we told her we don't have any change, and asked her to leave, she just persisted by asking one of our friends to give a chocolate he had. Under this whole guise, she picked our friend's phone! The staff seemed so very casual about it when we told them. They refused to check the CCTV till the police asks them to, and also dismissed us by casually saying such cases do happen in this Pret, and seemed like they knew of this lady. When asked why would they let her in if they knew she's a pickpocket and thief, they just said that they can't do anything about it!!! The casual dismissal and their knowledge of this lady made me wonder if this is very common in this pret, and I checked the reviews. People have posted about the exact similar situation in the past 8 months, which made them lose their phones and purses, while the pret staff does nothing at all about it despite knowing the homeless lady! This is UNACCEPTABLE. Just avoid this place like a plague, the people will probably do nothing about actual frequent stealing happening in THEIR store, which they are well aware of and dismiss you by saying THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

Delightful Pret A Manger. Pleasant staff. Very busy.

I was at Pret a Manger near the Natural History Museum and at Heathrow Airport. The place was quite crowded at lunch time, but I finally managed to find a table. A large selection of sandwiches, snacks and salads. Good quality for a fair price (value for money) I recommend it a place for a quick snack while exploring London.

Staff are ok but prices unaffordable now. £9 for sandwich in a bag and a coffee in a cardboard cup. Can get it much cheaper in my local cafe with real cutlery and a cup & saucer and it is served at a table. Won't be going they're anymore.

Very busy Pret a Manger in South Kensington

The falafel mezze salad was great as usual, yhe atmosphere only 3 star because of the general cleanliness of the place was far from great.

I've been to other branches, but Pret itself seems to do a lot of store management. They keep wiping tables, sweeping, and organizing. Even though they spend less than the Korean Starbucks, it tastes good. In fact, I don't think Aah itself is that expensive. Even in Korea these days, there are large cafes. If you go there, the price of coffee is enormous.

This Pret did the job. It was busy, but could get two seats. Clean, coffee and roll gave us what we needed. Staff v busy but gave us enough time to explain something to us.

Excellent option to eat healthy, not so expensive

I love this branch, mainly because it stays open until 10pm! I have so many fond memories of grabbing a snack and coffee while studying late into the evening. The downside is that it’s extremely loud, but that’s expected since South Ken is such a busy area. It also means finding a seat can sometimes be a challenge.

Honestly I would give this Pret a zero if I could. The state of the toilets was appalling. The worst toilets I have even been to in London. I went to the till to let the staff know how bad the toilets were and they just shrugged and said it was busy today.

Worst coffee ever. Such a shame. Ordered a simple flat white, which it didn’t resemble at all. What’s happened to this place!!!

BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR PHONE IN THIS STORE. My friend’s phone just got stolen from her pocket. A homeless looking woman approached us at our table and tried to take her drink, was mumbling incoherently and pointing at a flyer she had in her hand. Looking back this was all a rouse to steal my friend’s phone from her pocket. When we alerted the staff their first response was ‘why did you have your phone out on the table’. They then asked if it was the woman with the flyer, so they clearly knew who it was and it is a common occurrence. There is no signage in the store alerting people to the fact that high-level phone stealing is in operation in this store and happening often. I politely suggested they add signage reminding people to stay vigilant, and to kick this woman out when she enters if it’s so common they knew exactly who it was. Stay vigilant and be very careful in this cafe.

Standard pret but most of their outlets don’t work for charging devices. Pretty inconvenient

This store was always busy every time I went there and was really hard to find a seat. The chicken caesar roll is nice and filling...the lite version which I wanted was always sold out when I attended the store in the afternoons. Usually had to line up to pay but the line moved quickly.

In short, we were not satisfied...we were attracted by healthy food, but healthy is not synonymous with tasteless. It's a shame...anyway, the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean

Red Thai Veg Soup isn't red, isn't even remotely Thai, and it tastes like regular buttersquash soup.

Staff were nice & polite however surprisingly the manager were very rude and disrespectful. Beware of this kind of behaviour when visiting pret in South Kensington

Such a big pret and loads of seating, however this is very disappointing as there is heaps of powerpoints this is very frustrating as people come in to study but can’t charge anything

A beautiful place, the coffee is delicious, their delicacies are delicious, and they have many types of delicious sandwiches. The downside is that there are no sandwich heating devices.

Right now is 19:24 (they close the shop at 22:30 ) and they don’t serve coolers , only iced latte .

We were quietly studying while drinking a prêt coffee. The manager told us to leave because we can’t « study in here ». Absolutely outrageous and shocking service. I don’t recommend.

Having the subscription for couple of months and day after day the quality of coffee is dropping consistently. Also coffee is warm/ cold. Usually requested caramel and never add it. So disappointed

Came on Wednesday at 9:30pm , but store was already closed ( says that close at 10pm ) . In addition, staff were seen vaping inside, showing a lack of regard for rules and hygiene. Disappointing experience overall. Management should update hours and enforce better practices.

I’ve been going to pret almost for a month, every day and I’m loving it. The staff is so kind and nice, I feel like a love them. I’ve meeting a lot of the staff and they have the best attitude always. Bad thing, you can’t charge your devices there and you need to be aware of pickpockets. Amazing things, staff and club pret.

In the school holidays this branch always gets really busy so there isn’t usually space to sit in. We were also really díada pointed when the sockets stopped working so we are now unable to charge our phones here. The toilets are often in bad condition or are out of order. The branch rarely had ice despite advertising iced drinks. However, it is in a great location and the staff are really friendly

Judging from reviews left, it seems many had bad experiences with staff and I usually don’t leave reviews! I use this Pret every so often near work and never had issues until now. The cashier - BIANCA ( just in case that’s not her real name, red brunette with a long high pony tail, wearing a black jumper and jeans was suppose to serve me until she decided it was a better idea to serve someone who cut the queue in front of me from the one next to mine. NO excuses, i was standing right in front of her engaging in eye contact as others queued behind me. She obviously didn’t care so I just decided I would let it go and forget about it. HOWEVER, after she served them she decided to serve the gentleman behind me not even acknowledging or looking at me standing RIGHT IN FRONT of her when I had already been queuing for a while now. The gentleman realised this and started to hesitate unknowingly to go staring at me and that was when I decided to put my items on the counter. She then stares at him and then at me with a snarky look for a good 10 seconds, back at him implying that I had done something wrong. Utterly Ridiculous. Having made to feel bad and embarrassed about myself. I had to clarify and remind the gentlemen again (he already knew!) I was already in the queue. At that point he became pretty agitated and uncomfortable like me about the whole situation of her giving bizarre signals. Not to sound condescending but, it’s common sense to serve whoever has been queuing first in front of the line whether have a problem with it or not. I wasn’t unpleasant at all and super polite from the very beginning till the end of checkout. Whether someone is having a bad day, there is no excuse to take personal matters out on someone else during work, especially customers. Working myself in retail at a high end shop, I deal with all sorts of customers and like to believe I know what good customer service is.

Extremely rude manager. Myself and three other people, came to pret to grab some breakfast and sit and study while enjoying our food and coffee. We had each gotten at least two or three items each and managed to get a table. Around twenty minutes after sitting down, the manager (from 07/02/2024 11:20) asked us how long we were planning on staying and even asked us to leave as “Pret isn’t a place to study”. We were the only ones asked to leave, even though the back of the cafe is full of people on their laptops, attending meetings or writing essays, all those people either had a single coffee, or nothing from the shop at all. This was an awful experience and felt targeted as we’re students. Please be better pret.

I came the other day (around 12pm) and was enjoying the food until the manager came over (tall lady with brown hair up in a clip) and told me I had to leave immediately if I had finished my food because other paying customers needed to sit (I had not finished my food yet and hadn’t been there long). The rest of the service staff were great, she just ruined my day. I’m very disappointed and was very embarrassed by this remark. Please teach managers better pret.

came in for one reason and for one reason only... (dot dot dot - means dramatic thinking pause) cauliflower and kale mac n' cheese. left for one reason and one reason only... (again, thinking pause, this time less dramatic) the food was eaten fast. no complaints whatsoever, even the sheer amount of macbooks didn't deter us from enjoying our greasy, steamy, sexy meal. and even greasier, sexier and more steamy is the following tipp: order out but eat in. make sure to hide yourself as well as your pasta to avoid negative consequences (or jail time). your wallet and your mom will thank you.

My phone was stolen by a lady wearing a facemask, when I told the manager (female with shoulder length brunette hair) this and asked for the CCTV footage she was very rude and blamed me for losing my phone, then said there was nothing that they can do but call the police, also informing me that this happens often meaning they do not have any mitigation measures in place. Please be careful with your belongings.

The small blond Eastern European manager is unequivocally the rudest excuse for a manager and makes every experience awkward. We are a small group of colleagues who all have subscriptions and are obliged to visit the branch at lunch. Today was very cold and our new young apprentice wanted an applejito cooler with no ice. She was told “ICE DRINKS MUST HAVE ICE”. When I explained that we weren’t looking for a full glass just the usual drink without ice, she shouted, YOU MUST HAVE ICE IN ICE DRINK.” When it was further explained that we simply wanted the usual drink without ice she said “NO DRINK” and walked away. We’re older and just used to this “manager” but our young apprentice was mortified. And it is for this reason that I am writing this review on her behalf. I would like to note that almost every single worker in that shop is charming and welcoming. They never miss an opportunity to secretly apologize for their manager.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the (I guess) manager Noa working on the 18/01 who was super helpful to sort out an online order right before the closure of the store and was extremely kind and polite as well!

I left a feedback review abt the branch in earls court few weeks ago and I have noticed they have passed the message. But today it was for the same reason In this branch I only drink espresso and I know if its made in the moment or not I went back and said my coffee is cold After explaining to the lady at the counter. I told her because you serve the coffee in a paper cup the cup absorbs the heat and when you put that coffee in a second cup it absorbs more heat from the coffee and the coffee gets colder . The barista turned at me and said I gave you the coffee long time ago ! Now the coffee I brought back was full I only had a sip but she made it seem as if I came back 15 minutes later with the coffee. That's the first part Later around midday I went back there ordered some food and a drink to go and as I was paying with a different cashier the lady noticed me and said to the other girl Your friend is here ! Next time I will probably record it and then share the experience on social media with my 680k followers and let them judge Because having an argument at 8am over a coffee is the last thing I want ! I understand they can be busy but I never said I want my coffee and I want it now!! I can wait like everyone else But I don't need my coffee to be waiting for me. I also suggest the company makes all branches aware That espresso is made on the moment If not that is no longer an espresso That would be a left over coffee that we are paying for !!!

The review is from a service perspective. So I got a cup of cappuccino, and a croissant to eat. I accidentally spilled the drink on the floor. I went back to the cashier and told them about the situation so that they are known, and can clean the floor. I wanted to order coffee again, but the barista said I don’t need to pay. That’s how service should be!

We came out from the South Kensington Train Station and were met with a relatively heavy rainfall, much to our surprise!! But knowing what the typical London rain was all about, we just took it in our strides.. A cup of hot latte would work wonders at a time like this, and right across the road was a familiar sight..So, Najwa quickly pointed to this direction, and we were all too happy to oblige. Some people shunned away from pronouncing the name of this cafe, as it is french by nature. Just say it like, "prey ar monjey", and you wouldnt be far off. Some people just mention the name simply as "P", for fear of mispronouncing it, but be careful not to be mistaken as "pee", as it would carry an entirely different meaning!! Anyway, Najwa and I had our fix of hot latte, while my wife was happy with her Earl Grey white tea, along with her acai berry fruity concoction of thingamagic. Najwa went for the Vege & Cheese pie, and shared it with me. We spent a good 30 minutes here, as the cafe was practically full with people who were trying to avoid the rain, just like us...

Most food was out of stock. Drinks good. Service fast enough. Attracts all kinds of people. Not Pret's fault. Just spoils a nice catch up depending on the clientele at the next table! I got the macaroni cheese. It was cold and bland. Perhaps stick to their sweet offerings or sandwiches.

Nothing to complain about the staff or the Store itself more sort of a nag at the brand pret staff we encountered were nice . Was very busy seemed clean enough to me most people should bin their own rubbish. The problem I have is your charged more to eat in ? But sandwiches weren't warmed or anything like that £16 for two baguettes and drink each seems pretty pricey to me will just go to co op next Time ! For a meal deal

The coconut latte hit the spot, though the almond croissant was just okay. However, available tables were dirty, which was disappointing. Adding to that, a lengthy queue for the restroom was frustrating due to only one functioning stall. (Mid August 2023).

The most confusing thing is when you ask for a ice drink and they say they have no ice for shakes but have ice for other drinks. Soo do they have ice or no ice. I'm sure they can use the same ice

I can't recommend Prêt restaurant enough! It has become my go-to spot for breakfast every morning. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness make for a wonderful start to the day. Their dedication to addressing allergies is commendable, and I appreciate the peace of mind it brings. The quality of their milk is noteworthy, and I love adding it to my daily cornflakes. Prêt has truly won me over with their exceptional service and attention to detail.
