Pret a Manger in Kensington and Chelsea

Pret A Manger you can’t Compare with other Coffee Shops. Pret does Extremely great and Fresh Sandwiches. About the Coffee to be Honest the only Thing I don’t Like at Pret A Manger is the Coffee.

Tasted like it was made with water. Not a good coffee

Nice location but the people working there are not watching the details if you ask for specifics, like oat milk or soy milk, they just give you regular milk and don’t follow the process to put stickers on top of the coffee. Hence the negative review hopefully they can increase the quality somewhere to other locations nearby.

We had breakfast every morning. The food is delicious. British Apple juice or mango super.

Very unhappy with the vegan options at this store! They don’t have much to chose from and the few option they have are literally all the time unavailable. There is one single vegan baguette they offer (Avo+Olive). Went there three times this week to buy it and they never had it 😭

Extremely unpleasant and disrespectful staff: -Giving you a feeling like you are just a number and serving you like they are doing you a favour... -I have ordered latte which was served to me in a dirty cup. No one apologised for it. Lady by the counter asked another lady who prepared it to fix the problem and she just put coffee still in a dirty cup to another cup that was clean. I asked her to prepare new coffe for me in a clean cup but she was reluctant and discussing with me why I want it.... I got shocked by her unpleasant attitude and asked her again to make a new coffee for me because of hygiene reasons. She turned to her colleague and exchanged sarcastic smiles and finally she prepared new coffee still wearing sarcastic smile. I took the names of all staff members and happy to disclose them to Pret a Manger management. None of them apologised for their behaviour and attitude, I am still shocked. I am a very frequent customer of a different Pret where staff is very welcoming and helpful, so ot all depends on individuals....

Great food and staff. Way too small and the AC has been broken / off for over 2 years

Since they got the new manager, everything has gone downhill, especially with the evening team. The service is consistently terrible, and it’s clear that the management does not care about maintaining any standards. The staff’s attitude and lack of professionalism are reflective of poor leadership and inadequate training. In summary, the customer service at this Pret a Manger location was horrendous. The staff were rude, inattentive, and clearly untrained in the basics of customer interaction. I will certainly never be returning, and I advise anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience to avoid this place at all costs. Save your time, money, and sanity and go somewhere else.

Super rude staff. I think they're getting extra training on how to be rude, because boy, this sort of attitude and behaviour is beyond imagination. Not to mention that this shop is always full of weird people and homeless, trying to scum.

Tea & coffee is a ridiculous high price. The atmosphere, uncomfortable & gloomy. Chairs ugly & uncomfortable.

Whoever that barista (he was the only one behind the counter) was that made my mocha today, sir your mocha was the best ive had from any pret. U deserve a raise

A tiny Pret store with fast and helpful service.

Earls court seems to go its own way with hit breakfast items. No sausage or bacon sandwiches preferring to fill the cabinet by with pastry products. Doors really won't put customers off. Close them and stop trying to heat the street!

Very bad experience unfortunately, food old, I have pictures ... Definitely displayed out for more than 3-6 hours Staff nor really polite 😕and cross contaminating the food using same tools in picking up the food.

Today branch is closed 8:00 🕗 should be open from 6am. I have subscriptions and had to go spend £6 at the competition across the street!

No cream as usual like all other pret . General manager should have a deep look into it and fix this problem ! Also they mix water with coconut milk no reason.

The place is dirty. Tables are not cleaned regularly . You can see bins in the stairs. I was extremely sick 15 minutes after eating there and had to go to hospital. Place to be avoided at all cost

Been going to this pret for over a year every single day . I love espresso But in the last couple months it is going downhill unfortunately . They take shortcuts and use coffee that was in a big cup from before and then put it in a small cup but when you do that.. espresso is no longer the same You can use that coffee for a cappuccino or latte but not as an espresso Although I raised the issue a couple times with the staff in a nice way telling them my coffee is cold I still get the same 3 out of five times! This review it's more of a feedback If the situation doesn't change then the rating of this review will.!

3rd time without vanilla shot.I always ordered decaf soya vanilla latte.I always asked the staff with vanilla & they said yes! when they handed my order.Because it’s extra hot I wasn’t able to taste it when I’m still inside the shop.Need to retrain the baristas.

Food is okay, it tastes like every pret. The staff are rude tho. A lady with a baby stroller dropped her tea by accident, she excused herself an told it to the staff. The manager (the only woman wearing her own clothes, she has dark hair and wears glasses) rolled her eyes at her and turn around rudely without even asking if she wanted to buy a new one. The lady waited and no-one said anything so she just left. Never coming back here.

I was here yesterday 24 Nov and a blonde and tall lady was manning the till. An older gentleman asked for an extra cup and the blonde lady rolled her eyes and said - tell the barista. I wish she had been nicer to the older gentleman and that she had not been so dismissive.

The staff are rude, the food isn’t good, the drinks are horrible and wasn’t worth the price.

I truly enjoyed my morning capuchino. Food is good and healthy, particularly when you want something quick. It would be more enjoyable to have some soft background music. Service, lacked that short smile or facial expression that makes you feel welcome in the premises.

Staff have alway been pleasant and helpful but the LOUD music at 10:15 am was HORRENDOUS. Threehours later and my ears are still recovering. Music that loud could be a health and safety issue. The staff member said it's head office policy to have loud music. I'm guessing this is to push people out which I understand when it's busy and you don't want to lose business. It doesn't make sense when it is about 1/3 full. I asked 3 other people in their 20s and they agreed with me. I'll be going to Starbucks on the Old Brompton Road from now on.

I had a great experience with a staff member ( he said hes from Japan !) who was extremely helpful when we were struggling to place an order with our subscription. He displayed remarkable patience. Thank you very much.🙂 However, I regret to say that we haven't received good service from some other staff members at this store so far. On a few occasions, one lady was very loud(chatting with colleagues so loudly) and somewhat unfriendly. On another occasion, when I was in a rush to work one morning and there was only one person inside, I decided to grab a coffee. However, the service was incredibly slow, as they seemed to be engrossed in a conversation. Even after they finished making my drink, they held onto it while continuing to chat. I had to request my drink, leading to an unnecessarily long wait. I didn't appreciate that experience.

On the website of this shop and on the door there is an information that shop closes at 21:00. I went there at 18:50 to work on my computer. At 19:04 muslim girl came to us(customers) and rudly shouted that we have 5 more minutes to stay in the shop and we have to leave. So at 19:10 all customers were kicked out of the shop. I dont get it!!! Its a scam. If the shop would provide the right closing hours I would not go there! I had to spend double money because I had to go to different coffee shop and buy a drink to stay there. Dont you think that the customers have the right to know what time they will be kicked out of the shop BEFORE they buy anything. Also customer service is very low.

Kick you out 30 minutes before closing time. Not in a polite way, but passive aggressively.

Oat Matcha is rubbish here, it’s basically hot milk. They barely put any matcha in it. Matcha is green not white. 🍵🤔

Good coffee sandwich is good the place in desperate need of refit

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Wanted to try Pret for the first time, watched people get their orders before me, they have no system so people just walked up and grabbed drinks that were called out. They noticed I had been waiting, a mix-up for sure, and yet when they did hand me a flat white it was barely even warm and tasted burnt. Worst 3.30 quid ever spent.

Appena fuori dalla stazione delle metro di Earl's Court, non è tra le filiali più ampie di questa catena, pertanto la scelta e i posti a sedere sono un po' limitati (alcune sedute sono anche piuttosto malconce). La location è comunque in posizione ideale per una colazione o un take away e nonostante la dimensione ridotta abbiamo trovato qualche opzione vegana anche qui: Very Berry Croissant, Chocolate cookies e avocado toast tra quelli che abbiamo provato.

Costumer service is the worst! Really rude people there should be made some changes to staff as the workers working on saturday 3rd June 2023 at 1pm were really rude. The place was empty and I ordered a single expresso. The place got full just right after me and they started serving lattes to people after me. When I approached one of the girls after 10 min wait saying “excuse me, sorry, I’m still for my expresso” she was really rude to me in the way she told me to wait. Another girl staff told me she would do it and didn’t and I still waited 5 more minutes for my expresso.

Today ( 28may) I went to the Pret earls court coffee shop at around 8:20 pm to take something’s but it was closed already. Although I had gone with checking from gooogle it was closed. It should had been closed at 9 pm. Also there was a post on the gate of shop it is written that cafe closes on Sundays at 9 pm

Most of the staff are very pleasant and friendly, food selection is great, except one cashier that is always asleep and yawning, doesn't know how to say hello or good bye. Makes it for a very depressing experience, especially when you go inside happy and positive and you have to see that miserable dreery face. Should work elsewhere if they do not like serving people. Client experience is important.

No tap water & the worst internet. We're in 2023 !

I would give this outlet ‘0’ rating - the baristas and cashier guy were extremely rude. I ordered decaf soya latte with hazelnut, the first time they handed a complete watery coffee. When I complained, they were in disbelief but one the barista agreed and changed the coffee, when handed the second coffee, they did not include the hazelnut syrup. When I told them, the cashier guy was extremely rude and treated me as if I lied. The other baristas were smiling in a snarky manner. The final output of the coffee was still bad , the lid was broken and I just threw it! Dare not to approach them again. It was a super disappointing and intimidating experience and I will never return again or encourage anyone to visit this outlet. You guys have no understanding for ethics or customer service.

Mentions of poor service here are so true. I was having three coffees here with my family, we asked for a cup of water, and I was told "we do not have drinkable water here". I wonder what they use for making these coffees then. I'll make sure to avoid it next time.

Such poor service. Lady at the till (I don’t remember the name bust starts with an M) very very rude. I used to go there so often however I prefer to go to Paul, just on front Pret to have lunch. So much better.

We visited every day whilst staying in the area; while everything is generally excellent, we discovered that if you visit at peak time in the morning then some speciality drinks are not made properly.

Staff unaware that they should use semi skimmed milk with coffee, unless customer specifically asks for skinny (skimmed). Music unpleasantly loud.

Always a problem with ice machine or not having ice or something else! Was giving wrong drink twice in the week ! They need to come up with a more efficient system as it will be useful for busy hours.

I found the choices excellent here, many great options for a quick bite in or for taking something on a train or bus trip.

I work near by and pop in frequently for lunch and coffee. Today it wasnt my day.. and lovely lady at the check-out noticed and offered cake on the house. I think it is the little things which make your day.. and it wasnt big thing but made a massive difference to the way I felt. Thank you, you are an angel.

Para comer algo rapido en restaurante o para llevar, sandwiches, wraps.... a los precios normales en Londres. Hay muchisimos en toda la ciudad con lo cual no has de sufrir por no poder comer algo.

This used to be a nice place to have a coffee and relax but they Not allow anyone to use the tables from around 3 pm. It’s upsetting. I’m not coming back.

I bought a tuna salad 2 days ago there was hardly any tuna in it may be about 20 grammes of tuna One small egg 2 cherry tomatoes & 2 slices of cucumber. It’s a rip off.

I love Pret. Coming every day grab coffee. There is one girl I think she’s polish always unhappy , and look always abset on her face. Make you feel like she is making you favour to served you . Rest teams super friendly.

This place has really gone downhill recently. There are many shortages of sandwich and soup selections at this pret in particular. This is my local pret as well. Very disappointed.

Just what I need coffee and breakfast

The seating area is really nice and the mac and cheese is good but they always make my coffee with the wrong milk (rice-coconut instead of regular milk) and its annoying. I asked once to have it remade and the lady caught an attitude and bad tone of voice so i have never troubled them with remaking my drink since. They need to fix this issue and repeat back orders, what if I was allergic to coconut and took a sip?

I've always been a loyal customer to Pret for many years but it was extremely frustrating when I got wrongly charged and had to take the time to seek a refund, with no apology or compensation for the time and inconvenience I incurred for Pret's shortfall. Not only this, but I was not allowed to keep my original receipt for proof of purchase for the item I did have. Disappointed by the service indeed.

A dream. Friendly and courteous staff. A plethora of options to choose from for food and drink. Ample Seating. Wifi. No toilet due to being attached to the tube station.

Great Staff. However they NEVER have ice. It’s either something out of stock - is it’s not ice, it’s oat milk, if it’s not oat milk, it’s something else. It’s just extremely annoying. This however applies to ALL prets around london.

Another good experience with Pret - some nice vegan options available, good coffee and nice staff. Unfortunately, it seems like they run out of ice every day in the morning so it's not possible to get any iced drinks - not surprising considering the weather, but it would be great if they could stock up.
