Harvest E8 in Hackney

Basically a health food (vegetarian / vegan ?) shop. But there was a counter offering sandwich, quiche, and salad bowls. The roasted vegetable quiche was quite tasty (though it might me bought in ?). The filling in the egg sandwich also seemed bought in. There was plenty of it. However the bread was a real work out for my teeth. I abandoned the top part of the baguette. Even then biting through the bottom part was tough going. The coffee was OK. We are from out of London, and did not find it good value. Although staying in the area, not a place to re-use.

¿Cómo puedo resumir las muchas formas en que el personal aquí es grosero, incompetente, inútil e incapaz de hacer su trabajo? Es una pena que la comida aquí sea la jefa, pero el personal es tan grosero que es una verdadera imposición para ellos hacer un café.

Actitudes extrañas críticas, servicio distraído y una atmósfera generalmente incómoda. Fallo casi total del servicio al cliente 101.

Soy un local y un POC, cada vez que entro en este espacio frío demasiado caro en el maquillaje, el prejuicio no es tan importante, pero cuando entro sin maquillaje, supongo que son los 1890 s allí y soy negro así que debo ser un criminal porque el gerente del sur de Asia a quien solicité ayuda para encontrar acciones veganas no me reconoce y me sigue fingiendo ser un cliente, ni siquiera es sutil. No creo que esté tratando de ser sutil. Creo que quiere que lo sepa para que me vaya porque, ¿cómo se atreve mi gente a entrar en su espacio frío, sin alma y concreto? Sé quién eres, vivo localmente, te veo allí todo el tiempo, y aunque puedas pensar que todos nos parecemos, es por eso que no te has molestado en reconocerme, te veo. Ya veo lo que estás haciendo. Me estás señalando por el color de mi piel, apuesto a que cuando la gente te hace lo mismo, te quejas, pero la próxima vez no porque eres igual de malo. Ayer fue el colmo para mí. Nunca volveré a entrar allí porque es 2020, se me debería permitir caminar mientras soy negro sin ser seguido, especialmente por otro POC que probablemente haya experimentado primero este mismo prejuicio. Hacer que las personas se sientan menos no es genial, ¡es una forma de intimidación! Si vas a ser un matón como yo, baja tus precios porque literalmente todo lo que vendes se puede encontrar por una fracción del precio en Sainsbury's o Marks and Spenser, que está a menos de media milla de ti. P. S. tus barristas también apestan en hacer un café decente. Sinceramente, un local negro molesto que estará vocalizando su experiencia con otros locales.

Funny old place isn't it? I shop there all the time because I love the selection of food/products but it's like the staff have just arrived on the planet and never spoken to a human before. Same in other branch and Dudley's across the road. Don't think I've ever seen any of them smile. Also, weird you can't use loyalty card in both shops!

It happened to me several times to be charged with the wrong prices for fruit and vegetables. Ending up paying double for things ! Always ask for the receipt!

Tienda eco, grande y con gran variedad de productos! Con un servicio rico rico de cafetería, zumos, batidos, panes, tartas, etc....muy sanas, en un rincón exquisito adornado con maderas y muy buen gusto y mesas y sillas y un banco mirando a la calle ideal para usar tu ordenador (tiene wifi gratis), leer, estudiar, escribir, charlar o simplemente observar la vida pasar en tan transitada calle!!! Mi mejor recuerdo perdurable de Londres!

We stopped in here after visiting the Dalston Flea market and was very surprised at how good it was! Lovely benches to sit on and so many beautiful cakes with plenty to chose from for vegans! I had a flat white and the vegan raspberry cheesecake which was delicious. Two coffees and 1 cake slice came to about £8.50.

what a great place to shop in and the only place I could find Swedes in Stoke Newington. Staff are so helpful and kind. Thank gpd for the influx of Europeans to this stupid Island

Don’t go near this place. I have never encountered such rude staff EVER. I emailed twice to complain and got no reply so they clearly don’t care.

Second time I visited, cakes are hugely overpriced yet nothing original and dry as bone each time. To justify prices so extortionate they seriously need to up their game!

This cafe is at the front of an organic and sustainable food store. I assume therefore all the café food and drink is organic and sustainable hence the prices. They have a large range of cakes and sandwiches plus they do soup as far as I could see. They do a lot of different juices. The rhubarb tart I had was excellent but pricey at £3.75. Tea was a more reasonable £1.70. Expect to pay around £4 for freshly made juices. There is free wifi and this friendly café appears to be a popular place to meet and work.
