Triumph resto-lounge in Wandsworth

Absolutely no customer service skills! Very aggressive and combative when questioned about their incompetent staff instead of trying to find a resolution to the actual issue. Ambience is ok… slightly overcrowded. Food is mediocre - nothing special at all. Cocktails are ok. But their customer service brings everything else down so it’s completely pointless. Do not waste your money! Do not believe the hype! Definitely overrated!

Triumph… Definitely NOT Triumphant! Aggressive security staff on a power trip, lounge looks like a garden shed, terrible hygiene standards! Would give 0 stars if I could, AVOID! My sister and I decided to finish the evening off with some dessert and shisha. We did a quick google search of local lounges and Triumph was one of the first listings that appeared. As we were unsure of whether reservations were required, we called Triumph to enquire. We we told that walk-ins were absolutely fine and that we were “welcome to come now”. However, to our dismay, upon arrival we were met by an aggressive security guard who began berating us with questions such as “what are you here for?!” “Why don’t you have a reservation?!”. When we explained that we had called only 10 minutes prior to ask whether reservations were needed, we were shocked when he began insinuating that we were lying “I received no phone call from you” “show me your phone to prove it!” he scolded. Given his aggressive nature, we felt compelled to oblige to his demands and show him our phone and records of the call, to which he shrugged and responded “that’s not our number”, indicating that he will not allow us to enter. We explained to him that this was the number that we found on google and it wasn’t until this moment that the manager approached us, and told us that we could enter but that there was a “two hour maximum stay”. Entering Triumph slightly shaken from the encounter with security , we were left completely and utterly disappointed when we saw the state of the lounge. The lounge itself is no bigger than a back garden, and given the tiny space, seating was uncomfortably crowded. The table and menus were sticky with food remains still on them, disgusting! On top of all of this, there was a continuous screeching sound, similar to that of a fox, which was very unpleasant. We asked a member of staff what it was and she responded that it supposedly was a “baby outside”. This was the final straw from us, and we decided that we no longer felt comfortable at Triumph, as the experience was getting worse and worse. Before leaving, we spoke to the manager to raise our concerns, especially given that we were new customers. To no surprise, were given a very nonchalant response, so we left immediately. We have visited countless shisha/ lounges all over London, and we have never had such an appalling customer experience. TRIUMPH DO BETTER!!

Terrible experience. Tou are greeted at the front door by what I can only describe as a door man. That's not at all bad unt he demands why you are here and what you want. This was the most bizarre experience I've ever had at and restaurant or otherwise. To make matters worse, I found out that mt friends waiting inside had a similar experience with demands to go through their phone records to prove a call had been made in advance to attend. Once seated, the tables are simply too close to others and the lighting is terrible. The menus were sticky and made of laminate. We left soon after. Feels like a place trying to be a premium spot for Instagram likes but without the substance to match.

This is a 4.5 review I celebrated my birthday here with a rather large group (15-20ppl) and the the service was great. They were really accommodating, had great commutation when booking and added more number. I personally had the Fried Calamari, Fried Prawns & Lamb chops which was great. The food that the rest of my party ordered look pretty good too. Also great cocktails. The only negative I can say is the waitress that was looking after my party was really poor on her service, her lack of knowledge of the food/menu, she forgot to place part of the parties food/drinks order so they were still waiting for the starters after most of us had our mains we had to go to other members of staff to chase orders because she was busy taking photos. Would I recommend YES, would I go back YES just with a smaller party the over all service was good and the food was good.

Nice spot for food and drinks. The staff are always friendly. The cocktails are so nice. The shisha is nice not too strong which I like. But overall I would recommend this place.

Amazing place for drinks and food. The atmosphere is great and music is versatile. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
