So we got seated quite quickly which was good but it was all downhill from there. It took 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our order, when she did she said we better get the whole order in as soon as possible as the kitchen was piling up with Deliveroo orders; why on earth they weren’t prioritising seated customers I’ll never know. When we finally got our food which took an age they got the order wrong. We had to remind them half way through our burgers that we were missing the wings, another 20 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived. We asked to cancel the order of wings as it was just getting ridiculous and it felt like it was an inconvenience to them and no apology was given. If this business is going to survive you need better staff

Dip and flip used to be one of our favourites in Clapham but every takeaway we've ordered from there in the past year has been terrible. This evening our whole order was incorrect (an issue we've had with every order), we requested a brand new order was sent and it still had missing items as well as being absolute shocking quality. Tasteless gravy, burnt chicken tenders & soggy burgers. I am refusing to eat there again!

The burgers with roasted meat and gravy are simply fantastic. The cheesy fries used to be great, when they actually added lots of cheese, but are now just dry and very disappointing for £4.50. Despite this, I would still highly recommend this place.

My 9 year old son and I have travelled to London from Birmingham today, after a busy day out site seeing we visited the restaurant for dinner. We walked in around 7 and were seated straight away by our friendly, energetic waitress Violett. She was fantastic with my son talking about our day out and even brought him a free Oreo milkshake, he was over the moon. He had the bacon, cheese burger. Meat was fresh and juicy and cooked to perfection. I had 4 chicken tenders also superb and lovely and crunchy. Fries very tasty and well seasoned and I enjoyed the addition of gravy. We will definitely be back and thanks again to Violett who really made the difference to our experience.

Our server Violet was very friendly and accommodating, taking the time to chat and get to know us as well as provide excellent service. First time visited but will definitely be back for sure - food came out quickly and was really delicious!

I had been to the Birmingham branch in the train station but couldn’t remember the name but recall the lovely sauces. Fast forward and I was looking for a decent burger after a long night out. I was pleased to see one in Battersea on Uber eats. I had the classic burger, fries and nachos. The taste was top notch for the price. The only improvement I would say is the burger is a bit smaller than liked so make them a bit bigger but you get your money’s worth. Also you may have to rewarm the food if delivering from far but other than that highly recommended

10/10 recommend going here to eat! My boyfriend and I came on the afternoon of Thursday 1st July and the vibe was really chill and laid back which we loved. The food is absolutely unreal! I wasn’t sure what the gravy was going to be like but it was delicious, I could’ve drank it! The Dip & Flip burger with gravy dipped beef and extra cheese was cooked to perfection and sooo tasty. Also, special shout out to the man who served us (I think his name was Mike if I remember correctly) he was super friendly, helpful and just a nice chill vibe. Staff like that always make an experience even better - brilliant customer service from him. Will definitely be back!

My boyfriend found this whilst looking at places to eat around Battersea and suggested we go to Dip & Flip... and it was so lovely! Straight away we were greeted by our waiter who was accommodating and if there wasn’t a particular drink in stock, would suggest another one. He also explained how it worked and what he would recommend. It was so lovely, and filling and I would definitely suggest having the dip and flip which is a beef burger with roast beef, as well as adding the sautéed onions with the gravy, cheese and chips. So tasty!

Went to the Wimbledon branch on a whim and the food was FANTASTIC! Went to the Southwark branch last night and wasn’t disappointed. Great prices, large portions and great service!

First time here, but a brilliant experience. Staff were friendly, told us what we needed to know about covid rules and regs, and were welcoming. The burgers are mental - gorgeously cooked with a big fat cut of meat, then dipped in gravy.. Fries and cheesy fries were excellent too and the bowl of gravy on the side to dip whatever you wanted into was lovely.

Enjoyed a great beef burger my artner ordered a fried chicken bburger which ws below average , but the beef burger was excellent the bun is just pefect and thhe patty is coooked perfectly

We go here all the time (probably a little too much!) for a naughty slap up Meal. The wings are the best I’ve tried - massive with loads of sauce. Good value too usually under £15 each.

I had never heard of this place but loved the idea of the concept - gravy with almost everything - in the event early on a Saturday lunch time not too busy and service was prompt and pleasant - however the dip and flip lamb was ordinary and the gravy in my opinion was watery - not bad but not good either so a bit disappointed - large buffalo wings to start was ok but lots of sauce but nothing to eat it with

This restaurant has the WORST service and customer support I have ever experienced!They forgot 6 items in our order and while I was calling to resolve the issue they hung up on me and then kept declining my calls!When I eventually managed to reach them they were extremelly rude, refused to even apologise and hung up on me again! It's a joke of a restaurant really

Come here quite a few times and never been let down - chips are tasty and their Burgers are amazing - Dad usually goes for RoastBeef Topside and he says that is great as well Service is usually great but feel sometimes can get overwhelmed when restaurant is full - only criticism

Went here off chance as was looking for a "dirty burger" - this place is great, service is good and with a smile, food arrived quickly and was hot, juicy burgers with fresh salad and gooey cheese. Squeezy cheese chips were sickly and so nice at the same time. topped it off with an Oreo Milkshake - felt sick when i left.....in a good way! :)

The burger here was unbelievable. So tasty. The fries were also brilliant. The wing portions are very large and tasty. Service was ok and the only reason why rating of 4 not 5. Our waitress was v quiet and barely spoke which was annoying.

Ok- so the restaurant itself is kind of small, and you will be a little cramped- but the burgers and gravy-absolutely amazing!!! The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the service was quik and thorough. My only real issue with this place is that the food comes on a tray with paper lining- and the paper lining does tend to end up in your mouth with your food as it gets moist and shredded whilst handling your food.

The is our favourite burger joint in London, the whole family love it! The build your own burger options are fantastic for a family that all like different things and fussy kids that won’t be pushed to try new foods yet. The kitchen roll is very much needed with the gravy flying everywhere on those super delicious meals. Keep up the good work and we will be all very soon.

I used to come here all the time and had previously given a great review. The last few times I have been it has really been disappointing. Waiting ages to order, food coming out wrong, burgers overcooked. Its just not what it used to be. I hope they sort it out as I really used to love it. Such a shame.

Tasty succulent burgers and a reasonable choice of sides. They could do with adding some more starter options to the menu but the main draw is the burgers. We tried the speciality and I had a double beef patty burger with roast beef on top which tasted amazing with their homemade gravy. My partner had the burger with lamb on top and really enjoyed her meal.

Popped in here for some food late afternoon on a Saturday and they had a table straight away for 5 with no booking which was great. The menu isn’t huge but the options that are available are delicious. Members of the group had burgers, veggie burgers,chicken wings and various types of chips and everyone was really satisfied. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly.

My favourite place! I’ve tried everything on the menu by now and it’s all good stuff. The gravy is so nice and the slow roast lamb burger so juicy. Stop here and you won’t regret it!

I love the casual atmosphere that belies the efficiency that’s going on in the background. Delicious burgers with super tender lamb and gravy that belongs in dreams. My only gripe is the tin dishes absorb the heat from the gravy too quickly. Perhaps a little preheating of the dishes would be great. One of my favourite places. Well presented, well run and with quality food. I went for the green chili burger and my son went for the chicken burger. Both came with gravy for dipping the burgers in and whilst I was hesitant at first, I gave it a go and it tasted great. Well done team!

Opted for the flip and dip burger with beef. Wow! Just one of the most flavourful burgers I’ve ever eaten and it just gets better when you dip it in the gravy that comes on the side. The chocolate shake was pretty good too - not as rich when it first hits your taste buds as other burger joints but the rich, decadent chocolate flavour does eventually come through. No frills place but I’d go back for the food, no question!

I was going to write one of the best burgers and then I realised it was the best burger so I stuck with that. Simply put I don't really enjoy other burger restaurants any more having been here.....Brilliant service,amazing food, what more could you possibly want. In all seriousness though the meat is devine gravy amazing and the chips are excellent(evidence below). Also it's reasonably priced and I think they do a good lunch time deal as well.

I’ve been to this chain of restaurants multiple times and usually eat in on a couples date or with friends. I know my way around the menu pretty well but my favourite is the fried egg and rostii burger. Got it one evening as a take away treat and now wish that I didn’t. The restaurant was not very busy and I was advised of a likely 15 minute wait. It started to fill up whilst I waited for my food mainly with people ordering drinks only. 30 minutes later, I leave with an over cooked egg and disintegrated potato rosti burger that no longer resembles the meal i frequently order at other branches. I like the menu but won’t be returning to this branch.... as this is the second time this has happened. You can’t call to order in advance and frankly,if I’m going to wait 30 mins for food, wedged in a corner and without any updates.... I might as well eat in - kind of defeats the point of a take away.

A real treat for gravy lovers! With every burger/roll coming with a side of gravy, this restaurant offers a truly unique product. The meat served is tender and flavourful, with a variety of good sides. A personal highlight was the 'squeezy cheese' fries, and the ability to add a fried egg to a burger! I've returned many times and look forward too more visits in the near future.

We go here as a family about once a month. We love the burgers, dipped in gravy is best. We usually wrap half a burger in tissue before biting in. They are messy but delicious.

No es lo que se consideraría barato pero creo que está bien en relación calidad-precio! La hamburguesa sola era suficiente para llenarte, pero tuvimos algunos lados demasiado sólo para cosas nosotros mismos enfermos. Esta hamburguesa es muy sucia también, así que si estás incomodo tener comida en todo su rostro en un espacio público, este lugar no es para ti! Sin duda lo recomiendo y probablemente volveré la próxima vez que vaya a Londres!

I've been to the Battersea Dip & Flip several times and love the messiness of it! Don't take a first date here - the gravy dip will have you reaching for the napkins after each bite, so just accept it. The dip really livens up...

Amazing burgers, really tasty and juicy ; cool and relax atmosphere; great service, the waiters are always nice and chatty ; honestly it's the best burgers we have found so far in Clapham ; the only down side is the time you wait to pay at the end ; every single time we have been there , you have to wait ages to get the check and then pay ( they might want to invest in more card machines?) . Apart from that, i highly recommand this place :)

After deciding to indulge on a Sunday we wanted to do it wisely, googling 'best burgers in the south west' we came across this place online and we often pass on our commuting path in Clapham. Bingo - we gave it a go. Not overly busy (everyone else is probably sticking to the health kicks over the weekend!) but we weren't disappointed with how we spent our calories. Messy to eat but this only reflects the level of enjoyment! Dip and flip house burger - cheese burger, slow roasted lamb - all the sauces with gravy! Delicious. Two people, two burgers, large buffalo wings, one wine, one soft drink - just short of £40.

This place is being penalized due to its location and distance from central London. Otherwise the burgers are very good; Good bun, good meat and crispy fries. Basic decor and ambience but service is very good.

I first went to Dip & Flip more than three years ago and was pleased to return after more than a year to find that it was still worth the title of 'probably my favourite burger in London'. The eponymous burger (with roast beef and gravy) is absolutely delicious, and the chicken salt on the chips is fantastic. There was a bit of confusion with my milkshake (as an aside, the chocolate cherry ripe is amazing), but the person serving us was brilliant and resolved it easily. With all the excellent extras, it might be easy for the burger itself to be overlooked, but the patty is top quality and cooked expertly.

Solo first time visit to fix a few pints and I was not disappointed! Had dip & flip burger with a side of Korean wings. Best burger in ages. That is all.

The food is still great, but the hygiene is slipping. The open wood grain on the tables really needs a good scrubbing.

We had buffalo wings, double dipped roast beef sandwiches with sweet potato fries. It was all brilliant. The Oreo milkshake is probably the best milkshake I have ever tasted. We will be back to try the burgers!!
