This place is disgusting to say the least, extremely poor service and poor cleanliness, the place was so dirty starting with the tables and floo. I ordered a family bucket to eat in; they gave me no plates to eat in, I had to ask to napkins, cups. When I asked for napkins they literally gave 4 pieces of napkins and 3x ketchup sachets for 4 adults. After the meal I wanted to wash my hands, I was informed the toilets are out to order for 7 days. I asked for wet wipes to wipe my hands and they didn't have it. So, I have just eating a whole meal with my hands but hands are greasy as he'll, I can't use the toilet and there's no wipes. Believe it or not I was offered a cup with water and told to wash my hands . This is ridiculous, what is this 3rd world country or something. Poor management!
Pizza arrived cold, I was checking tracking and realized that the driver was waiting to take another order with my one, took him 40 mins to deliver. 🤣 I believe second customer received colder pizza than me 🤣 I still could see his movement on app.
So we got seated quite quickly which was good but it was all downhill from there. It took 30 minutes for someone to come over and take our order, when she did she said we better get the whole order in as soon as possible as the kitchen was piling up with Deliveroo orders; why on earth they weren’t prioritising seated customers
I’ll never know. When we finally got our food which took an age they got the order wrong. We had to remind them half way through our burgers that we were missing the wings, another 20 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived. We asked to cancel the order of wings as it was just getting ridiculous and it felt like it was an inconvenience to them and no apology was given. If this business is going to survive you need better staff
After being pleased to see that Baker & Spice are now open in the evenings, I was excited to visit and try their new a la carte menu. The food, service and ambience did not disappoint. There was a great atmosphere and I was well looked after by the team. We shared the tuna, meatballs, flatbread and fish and chips 'Belgravia style'. The new wine selection is interesting and unusual, and I can't wait to return and try more of their new offering.

I visited the Subway store today and had an extremely disappointing experience, which I believe could be a case of attempted fraud by the staff.
I specifically asked for gluten-free (GF) bread, and at first, the staff member claimed the shop didn’t have any. When I asked him to check again, he eventually found some in the back. I then asked for the meal deal, which is advertised at £3.99. He confirmed the meal deal and started preparing my food.
However, when it came time to pay, I was shocked to see the total was over £10. I questioned this, and he claimed that tuna costs an extra £6, and I was also being charged an additional £1 for the GF bread. He also said that the meal deal only includes crisps and a drink????????????? None of this was explained upfront, and I was in disbelief at how a simple 6-inch sandwich could come to over £10 at Subway.
I refused to pay this unreasonable amount and was about to leave when the staff member suddenly said he could charge me £4 for the sandwich instead. Since the bread had already been toasted, I accepted. However, when I went to pay again, he attempted to charge me £6. After confronting him again, he reluctantly adjusted it to £4.
On top of this, I noticed something highly suspicious with the payment transaction. Instead of showing “Subway” on the payment receipt, the transaction showed “Zettle_*money machine,” which I suspect might be a personal payment receiver rather than an official Subway account. This raised even more concerns about whether I was being scammed.
I feel this entire situation was highly unprofessional and possibly an attempt to overcharge me on purpose. The inconsistent pricing, lack of transparency, and overall behavior were appalling for a well-known chain like Subway.
I hope Subway addresses this issue seriously and prevents such behavior from happening to other customers in the future.
