Wrong order delivered and was made to feel it was my fault. Tip automatically incorporated in bill which isn’t explained. Food I would describe as overpriced and Japanese food for tourists coming from people who lived in Japan.

I recently visited this restaurant, having been assured over the phone that they had tuna. Upon arrival, we ordered tuna maki but later, were served salmon instead. Only after sending it back twice, we were told they were out of tuna, despite another roll we ordered containing tuna. Instead of apologizing, the staff member insisted we ordered salmon. The rest of the food was subpar, and the service was disappointing. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory.

Brikena was lovely and recommended amazing dishes. We will be coming back all the time.

Always a great time, great food, some of the best Japanese sushi rolls in London! The truffle wagyu beef mushroom roll, jalapeño salmon roll, red dragon roll and salmon bites are our favourites. Today our server Fidan in particular was very attentive, professional, friendly - excellent service. One of our favourite restaurants in London - 10/10 would recommend :)

We always use this restaurant for our weekly sushi treat. Silvya is the person at the phone. She is very attentive, professional, and caring. She always makes sure to listen to all our requests. We couldn't be happy with her service! We ll keep calling only Oka for our takeaways.

Food was ok but for the price we think it lacks flavour and authenticity (but understandable given "pan asian"). Price was abit on the higher end but portion is big. Nothing special about the salmon roll we ordered. Vibe was great but we received our main course after 30mins of ordering and had to follow up. Also when we were there, it was break time for the staff so we felt we were eating with their staff/at the kitchen as all table was occupied by their staff except ours

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cozy, and the staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. I ordered a Nigiri Platter, Mee Goreng Noodles with Chicken and Tofu, Pineapple with Coconut Ice Cream, and a Yuzu Watermelon Bliss. My noodles were mistakenly served with shrimp instead of chicken and tofu, but to my surprise, the shrimp version was incredibly delicious and ended up being the best dish of the meal. The service was excellent; when they realized the mistake, they promptly brought me the original chicken and tofu noodles. The dessert, Pineapple with Coconut Ice Cream, was beautifully presented and generously portioned. The pineapple chunks had a layer of crispy caramelized sugar on top – highly recommended. It would be great if they could provide a spoon along with the fork for the dessert.

The food was great and the server was friendly. The tables are too close together which is annoying. Especially that there was some extremely koud guy shouting and laughing hysterically right next to us and it ruined the experience for us. Just wanted to finish and leave.

Love the food here - it’s like a modern take on various Asian cuisines. I would recommend when going for a casual dinner or lunch out with the family and friends groups. The meat is super delicious (beef teppanyaki), some interesting rolls such as the wagyu roll with mushrooms, and really flavorful mains such as the miso salmon with vegetables. Overall a fun place to visit, but wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a traditional sushi place with super fresh fish; as the description implies it is really “pan-Asian”. We already went twice and would go again, however, please increase the cleanliness of the tables, seats and floor - everything felt a bit sticky and dirty. That’s the only reason for one star less.

I often pop in here for lunch on my own when I’m in the neighbourhood and am always impressed with the service, the quality of the food, and the fact that I can get a table / seat without making a booking. Great spot.

We went here for my daughter's birthday because it is her favourite. Great simple food and a very flexible kitchen. We had gluten and lactose allergies in our group, however they said we could have almost any dish, and they would change it to accommodate the allergies. It can be a bit crowded, but there is a great atmosphere and excellent service.

This was an unexpected delight. We tried to get in somewhere else, and only stumbled in on this place as a backup... and boy were we lucky! The food was _excellent_, with a lot of care put into the details (RE the presentation and preparation). The food itself was of high quality. On top of that, the staff was delightful. Would recommend.

Went there yesterday for dinner, cute little place in Chelsea, the rolls were great but the starters were a bit meh and we tried the sesame ice cream which was very disappointing. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back for sushi lunch though if you're looking for a 3 course date night sticks and sushi down the road is probably more suitable.

Splendid restaurant! The orange chicken and beef dish had the most tender meat I have ever tasted with good flavor. Fried rice is okay. Service was great. Much better experience than any restaurant in Chinatown we tried.

Visit almost weekly. Busy so best book to avoid disappointment, but the food is truly outstanding, one of the few restaurants in London that never, ever disappoints. Delicious healthy selection, lovely team that makes you feel welcome each time and recognises regulars, and great unusual cocktails. An essential experience for London dining.

Whenever I’m down in London I always make a trip to OKA! The marmite chicken is amazing! Definetly worth visiting! I’d also recommend the pineapple and coconut icecream desert!

I had the Beef Bulgogi and cauliflower starter. The beef was nice, tender and flavourful. However, the cauliflower dish lacked deep flavour.

We went there upon recommendation from a friend. We were surprised that they didn’t have two items that we ordered, so we ordered alternatives, then they came back to offer us what was not available but we didn’t order it because it was too late after ordering the alternatives. The quality of the food was ok but we expected better. The atmosphere was not that great.

quality of a sushi chain for an exorbitant price. The room is very noisy and small, the only good point is the service. If you are a true lover of Japanese cuisine I do not recommend it, you will be disappointed.

I ordered a bulgogi beef with rice and it was amazingly good. The beef is soft and the sause it gives to rice makes wonderful flavour. 5/5 for food But the service is a bit slow. It was quite hot outside and I asked for cola with ice. I had to wait around 5-7 minutes just for cola...

Awful food, miserably small portions. I seriously doubt that anyone in the kitchen knows anything about Japanese food.

There were many options on the menu so if you don’t know what to order, ask the staff for recommendations coz they are more experienced and their advice was trustworthy. This is an Asian fusion restaurant so don’t expect to see authentic Japanese/Chinese/Korean food here. (Also no single chef is an Asian😂) Sushi were not bad. Recommend the yummy rolls but not the nigiri platter. Miso soup was HUGE in portion (we appreciate the generosity but that’s not the standard size in Japan). So we became quite full after the soho already… Mains were quite good 👍🏻. We ordered the beef and chicken rice. Good portion and well-seasoned :)

This is my favourite restaurant. Food has always been wonderful and so has been the service. Unfortunately, this visit there was something off , maybe it is the Easter weekend! I’m sure it will be the same great food is in the past.

I have been wanting to visit for some time, and it was quite good! A few dishes were outstanding - miso salmon for example, while a few, like the cauliflower with BBQ, rather mushy and poorly done. But service and atmosphere are lovely so I will come back to try again (perhaps sushi next time, as 1/2 the menu is such)

The sushi is better than average - decent quality, but the two fried cod bao with pickles are not worth 16 pounds, even if you factor in the location premium. And I found a fruit fly on my plate... Only order sushi if you must.

Insanely good. I've been ordering from OKA for a while and the food always arrives super fresh and very quickly. Love the dragon roll, spicy crunchy tuna roll and miso salmon. The only dish that was a let down for me was the Chicken teriyaki which I found dry - however I called OKA and they promptly delivered me an additional batch of sauce so top marks for the great service! Now that I've moved, I'm thrilled that I can order from the Barnes branch.

Sublime! Always amazing when we eat at the restaurant. Just tried take out and it was equally amazing. Just really really great food. More pricey than some places, but totally worth it!

The food is delicious and I usually order from them however we came to have lunch and the hostess was so rude! She made us feel un welcomed and asked if we had a reservation when the place was empty then took her time to see where we could sit? The waitor was so sweet though but I think I will stick to ordering online in the comfort of my own home
