Small restaurant but very lovey overall

Hadn’t been back to Oka for nearly 10 months. Booked a last minute appointment with a friend from abroad and because they had my record on file, they gave us a 1hr slot. I forgot how good the food is. Just delicious…the best Sushi restaurant I’ve been to in London. No question. And the other item I noted was the constant stream of food delivery orders. I asked the staff about it. Between 100-150 orders each and every day apparently. Great good, good business, good service. Respect to Oka. I’ll be back!!!

Both the food and service were great as always. The staff members were very accommodating, swapping the dish that arrived to another one even though it was totally my fault thinking about another roll and ordering a different one.

Manager was incredibly rude, would not come here again as we were glorified door service for 15 minutes before our table was ready even though we paid a deposit. We were told we had to spend £45 per person even though we spent in excess of £350.

Asked to leave due to allergies.

Great service, food was mediocre

Took over an hour longer to get a delivery. No one answers the phone. Had to call 15 times and then was liked the about where the food was.

OKA was my regular Deliveroo restaurant but no longer. I have waited more than 2 hours for my order given that the estimated delivery time when I placed the order was around 35 minutes. Do not accept orders if you do not have capacity to fulfil them in the timeframe you have given. Absolute disgrace.

I recently dined at Oka Chelsea, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was incredibly fresh, with each dish showcasing authentic Japanese flavors and meticulous presentation. The sushi was expertly crafted, the tempura perfectly crisp, and the ramen rich and flavorful. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting complimenting the food very well. The attention to detail, from the traditional table settings to the serene background music, made for a truly immersive dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-tier Japanese cuisine!

Oka is one of my favourite places to eat! The sushi is absolutely excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Their desserts are just as impressive, the perfect way to end a meal. Highly recommend!

Good place in Chelsea for sushi and Japanese food. I had a couple of rolls, seaweed salad, wagu sushi, marmite chicken and 300ml sake. Everything was lovely. A good standard, not out standing. The decor is modern Japanese, and there’s a nice buzz about the place. I paid £115 for two people, which for goods sushi in Chelsea is very fair. It’s a place I’d come back to if I was in the area. Not a place I’d travel to though.

Absolutely tasteless and very poor quality food. Manager did her best, tried to convince me that ramen was ramen, but unfortunately wasn’t. We were waiting ages to be served, and leave this unfortunate place. Even toilet was unclean. Very bad experience, definitely not recommended.

Such a cute place with smart decoration and chic china 😊. I usually don't care for fusion Asian, I don't know where to begin, but when there's Korean, everything becomes easier for me. The bulgoggi was really nice. The kimchi, unfortunately, really bad, you could ot came out of a can. I like the ice cream mochi, but I would have liked the option of the original bean one.

Rana is always helpful snd the food was 10/10! Been coming for years and is always perfect, never disappoints. The orange chicken is excellent, as well as the ginger chicken, red dragon roll, salmon bites and korean bbq cauliflower . Love this place!

Order Detail - ORD86811 Ordered from Oka Chelsea. I'm their regular customer. Two meals I've ordered very disappointing this time. The squid before I even opened it smell very eggy and the taste was also eggy not the usual. The noodles which was always ok this time very extremely dry. Not sure if they had a change of chef. Disappointing meal today

The food is absolutely amazing! The service was top-notch, especially with Archa—she’s beyond sweet and so helpful with food recommendations. Her attention to detail made the experience even better. Definitely 100/10, will be coming back for sure!

Our server Marcella was wonderful and really looked after us. The food was delicious - from the sushi starters to our mains Chicken Teriyaki Katsu and Ho Fun Chicken Noodles. It’s busy & not much allow room, but it’s worth it.

One of my favourite places in Chelsea by far. Keeping that in mind I will be very angry if this review results in me ever struggling to find a table.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Oka Restaurant in Chelsea! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staffs were warm and attentive. The highlight of the meal was definitely the salmon dishes. The Salmon Bites were perfectly crispy, the Salmon Tataki had incredible flavor, and the Truffle Salmon Roll was absolutely divine. Every bite was a delight. Highly recommend for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality sushi. Can't wait to return!

We had noodle from the special menu list. They were really delicious. But my favourite dish was the belgogi beef, the taste was super. We were served by Rana he was very friendly and very helpful with sorting out our table and food recommendations. Worth a try

Wonderful service - especially from our waiter Rana. Very speedy and delicious! If I was to be very picky the music was a little loud but that was purely personal taste and didn’t take away from the food or experience :)

We had the Ho Fun noodles and the Truffle Roll and it was delicious. But the Hot Cookie Dough with black coconut ice cream was next level!! We would definitely love to come back!!

Wrong order delivered and was made to feel it was my fault. Tip automatically incorporated in bill which isn’t explained. Food I would describe as overpriced and Japanese food for tourists coming from people who lived in Japan.

I recently visited this restaurant, having been assured over the phone that they had tuna. Upon arrival, we ordered tuna maki but later, were served salmon instead. Only after sending it back twice, we were told they were out of tuna, despite another roll we ordered containing tuna. Instead of apologizing, the staff member insisted we ordered salmon. The rest of the food was subpar, and the service was disappointing. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory.

Brikena was lovely and recommended amazing dishes. We will be coming back all the time.

Always a great time, great food, some of the best Japanese sushi rolls in London! The truffle wagyu beef mushroom roll, jalapeño salmon roll, red dragon roll and salmon bites are our favourites. Today our server Fidan in particular was very attentive, professional, friendly - excellent service. One of our favourite restaurants in London - 10/10 would recommend :)

We always use this restaurant for our weekly sushi treat. Silvya is the person at the phone. She is very attentive, professional, and caring. She always makes sure to listen to all our requests. We couldn't be happy with her service! We ll keep calling only Oka for our takeaways.

Food was ok but for the price we think it lacks flavour and authenticity (but understandable given "pan asian"). Price was abit on the higher end but portion is big. Nothing special about the salmon roll we ordered. Vibe was great but we received our main course after 30mins of ordering and had to follow up. Also when we were there, it was break time for the staff so we felt we were eating with their staff/at the kitchen as all table was occupied by their staff except ours

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cozy, and the staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic. I ordered a Nigiri Platter, Mee Goreng Noodles with Chicken and Tofu, Pineapple with Coconut Ice Cream, and a Yuzu Watermelon Bliss. My noodles were mistakenly served with shrimp instead of chicken and tofu, but to my surprise, the shrimp version was incredibly delicious and ended up being the best dish of the meal. The service was excellent; when they realized the mistake, they promptly brought me the original chicken and tofu noodles. The dessert, Pineapple with Coconut Ice Cream, was beautifully presented and generously portioned. The pineapple chunks had a layer of crispy caramelized sugar on top – highly recommended. It would be great if they could provide a spoon along with the fork for the dessert.

The food was great and the server was friendly. The tables are too close together which is annoying. Especially that there was some extremely koud guy shouting and laughing hysterically right next to us and it ruined the experience for us. Just wanted to finish and leave.

Love the food here - it’s like a modern take on various Asian cuisines. I would recommend when going for a casual dinner or lunch out with the family and friends groups. The meat is super delicious (beef teppanyaki), some interesting rolls such as the wagyu roll with mushrooms, and really flavorful mains such as the miso salmon with vegetables. Overall a fun place to visit, but wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a traditional sushi place with super fresh fish; as the description implies it is really “pan-Asian”. We already went twice and would go again, however, please increase the cleanliness of the tables, seats and floor - everything felt a bit sticky and dirty. That’s the only reason for one star less.

I often pop in here for lunch on my own when I’m in the neighbourhood and am always impressed with the service, the quality of the food, and the fact that I can get a table / seat without making a booking. Great spot.

We went here for my daughter's birthday because it is her favourite. Great simple food and a very flexible kitchen. We had gluten and lactose allergies in our group, however they said we could have almost any dish, and they would change it to accommodate the allergies. It can be a bit crowded, but there is a great atmosphere and excellent service.
