Love this hotel. Has on site parking, convenient to explore Norfolk, good dog friendly rooms with private garden and the team are really happy to help. My car developed a problem on the way down and Donna got on the phone and found a local garage to get it sorted in 2 hours. Lovely part of the world 🙂

I went for lunch and had a goats cheese salad . It was delicious and massive! I didn’t know whether to eat it or climb it ! I thoroughly enjoyed it and was absolutely stuffed by the time I left . They were also really accommodating to be allergies and the staff were charming .

Had the worst ever fish and chips tonight. Got there early thinking I’d get the freshest fish just battered and crispy chips… I ended up with soggy chips and a battered fish that ‘looked’ crispy but when eaten was like wet cardboard in texture. Won’t be back! Never again!

As good as the reviews say. Food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I opted for the big breakfast and an Americano coffee. Both were excellent, with the presentation on the plate very mouthwatering. Place gets busy. I saw one table was reserved while I was there. Place seems pet friendly, but dogs should be well-behaved as there is limited space. I will be back for more food!

Amazing afternoon tea. A real treat with fantastic service aswell. I loved that you get given to start with rolls and we were given fritters but it could be sauasage rolls (we were told they there would be sausage rolls) the fritters were nice, a bit different. Then afterwards you get served by silver service to choose your sandwiches. Lots of choice to choose from, 6 different filling. Then you get the stand with the scones and deserts. All delicious. They provided boxes to take away the ones you can't eat because your full. There is a list of different teas with a large variety including lemon and ginger. I highly recommend this afternoon tea. I was also spoilt by the chef with writing Happy 50th Birthday in chocolate on a plate, that was a nice touch, thank you Pontlands.

A very welcoming experience thanks to the excellent heritage centre guides who knew their stuff and pointed us in the right direction. The Centre is a must visit not just for aged train spotters but for every one. The line has a new future with East West Rail which needs all our support to get locals back on trains. Great coffee and cake made the day.
