Food was reasonable, however the delivery driver told me to "find another takeaway closer" "Do you know where restaurant is" If delivery to CM18 Harlow is a problem, why allow delivery orders to be placed and complain to paying customers upon delivery? I assumed the £5 delivery was due to the distance clearly not.

Really beautiful place to go and have a nice dinner with the family, the food was really good, the atmosphere was welcoming and the design in the restaurant was unique .

Undoubtedly, one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in Epping and London. Always friendly staff, food is consistently delicious, amazing choice of dishes. I love their Chardonnay (if you are into in). Service can sometimes be a bit slow and the atmosphere could be slightly pumped up by a bit of music at the background. All in all - highly recommended and certainly our place to go to when we’re in the area.

Good food, very cold in restaurant.

Food o.k, one of the toilets stopped working halfway through the evening, the section that we sat in was freezing (I started my car and kept popping out to it to warm up). Not enough car parking room, had to wait ages for the food. We had travelled a fair way to attend a birthday party, a little disappointed.

Okay so firstly the food was really nice (curry’s) however the Bombay potato was still very raw, hard and barely any flavour at all which was sad as I love that stuff. The staff were sweet, the atmosphere was very bright in there, very white walls, just felt cold in there. The white cloths was annoying as they got dirty straight away and it stuck out loads make me feel like I’ve just sat down and made everything dirty. And as for the music, what the hell! Clubbing dance music whilst I’m eating a curry? That was a massive no no for me. I did not feel relaxed and calm eating, I felt like I wanted to get up and dance. It was not good at all didn’t like it and defo made us rush eating our food and want to leave. The music was definitely a massive put off I know we’re in Essex but come on. So cos of this not sure if I’ll be going there again. Happy parking was right outside however.

We have dined at Vojan many times and have aways found the food and service to be first class. The staff are extremely polite and friendly if anything goes wrong they are very apologetic making you feel important to them. One comment would be that it would be nice to have sign just before the the left turn on the A414 as we always miss the left turn and end up in North Weald.

I had an amazing experience at Vojan. The food was served on time and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The best restaurant in Ongar and one of the best restaurants I have been to.

Avoid!! Just witnessed two of their staff members throw rubbish on the floor at a block of flats in Epping after they parked and walk away. Terrible! Watch out for car with licence plate KP10 LKN

Lovely Essex Indian restaurant 😋

I went to the Vojan as it was recommended by friends and i was extremely underwhelmed, the staff was very disrespectful and the food is overpriced.

Good atmosphere and staff and loved the food.

Used to go here regularly and always had a great meal, service etc... hadn't been for a year or so but went for a birthday last week, what a disappointment food was tasteless, bill came to £40 each for just a normal curry & rice each, naan to share between two and one or two drinks each, no starters or desserts plus didn't get the usual complimentary Bailey's at the end. We won't be returning.

Absolutely superb venue and the food is mind blowing and serving not just your ‘run of the mill’ dishes like other restaurants. There’s an array of dishes on the menu you would probably never heard of before. Very reasonably priced, very clean and a well presented, friendly and efficient waiting service. I would highly recommend this venue, I can’t wait to return.

This place is easily one of the best Indians available. The food is lovely, plenty of choice. There really is something for everyone. Our waiter was amazing, and so helpful when choosing from the menu and stopped us from over ordering. His suggestions were excellent. And food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Overall it was a great evening, and I would definitely recommend to anyone!

I was recomended this place as the best Indian in and around Brentwood. When I went I wasn't disapointed, great food, I love going here.

This is a lovely place to swing by and have a curry. We don’t live nearby but found it by chance because the M11 was really messed up one Friday evening (what’s new 🤣) so we turned off at the Harlow exit towards Ongar to get some food while the traffic died down and there it was beckoning. The place is really welcoming and friendly. The food is very good. The menu is varied with many chef specials as well as the traditional madras/korma/dansak type stuff.

Friendly staff, comprehensive menu, nice place for a good curry in the area.

I used to eat in and also order home deliveries regular from the Vojan. Sadly I was let down by them on the last takeaway I ordered, I was lied to 3 times when I chased the time of an order I placed, I was told each time it would be 10 mins, half an hour delivery time turned in to 1.5 hours. The food delivered was cold and of poor quality and we ended up throwing it away. Spoke to the Manager on duty and as we paid cash he informed us he would personally post a refund through our door, this never happened. Very poor. We have now found Ongar has other better Indian Restaurants.

Our chicken tikka masala was too creamy and lost flavour because of it. Coconut rice had onions in, which ruined it. Didn't enjoy the seasoning on the chicken on the mixed grill so neither of us ate it.

Went for second visit and it was just as amazing as I remembered, friendly knowledgeable waiting staff. The food is out of this world, the lamb korai melts in the mouth and the balti chicken is the best I've ever had.

Attended a friends 60th here and had a most enjoyable experience, staff were attentive and helpful and the food although buffet style was plentiful and nice.....the venue itself was good with extended outdoor space which had seating and heating, there were about 100 people in our party and they were catering to a sit down wedding party on the other side of the building but they made it look effortless and everyone had a good time

Fabulous meal! From the waiting staff to the food, everything was top notch. The lamb Dansak was melt in your mouth, the flavours were spot on! We tried a Chef's special of Raj Murghi Stick. What a delicate, fragrant & amazing succulent chicken dish. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about what accompaniments went with it so as not to over power the dishes we chose. Service was great. All in all a really lovely Indian. If they keep this up they will be my number 1 Indian restaurant. Thank you Vojan

Well this is the first and last order from this restaurant, and the only reason they get two stars Is for the delivery guy, order turned up early and the bloke Had a sense of humour and was polite. Now the food........ The poppadoms wer stale to the point of chewy, and the rice tasted like it was cooked in mildew. We also had the Naga lamb and even over the spices it tasted...rancid? Not what I expected from a restaurant with such good reviews....... How can you read that I was frustrated with the delivery driver?, He was the only good point about the whole review 🤦🏻‍♂️ I'll take off another star for that 🤣

Usually very good, but just ordered a chicken tikka wrap, 4 pieces of chicken in a naan bread, said they don't usually do it but £11.70 seems excessive

Really disappointed that I spent so much money on food that was cold and had to pay an extra £3.00 For delivery for it to be just under an hour late. Called twice, was told first time it would be 10 minutes. Called back 25 minutes later to be told it had left 5 minutes ago???. Will not ever order from them again.

Have been going to Vojan for around 15 years, food and service has always been amazing! 100% best Indian restaurant I know. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Chicken Tikka amazing, bhuna dishes fantastic, the entire menu and taste is quality.

The best indian I have ever tasted. Not just the taste you get so much for your money. Lamb madras our favourite and loads off meat. A number one fan.

Went there Saturday night for my brothers birthday there was a party off 22 people the staff were brilliant and the food was fantastic would definitely go there again all food was hot and everyone eat at the same time highly recommended

Average food and expensive for what we had (2 course set menu for £25 per head which was served to share round the table) Don't go here if you want to have a conversation over your meal; had to shout over DJ playing loud music. Most staff lovely but one particular waiter who was very rude. Won't return.

Vojan are nailing it at the moment. Honestly, such good value and always service with a smile. They'll probably laugh, but the Chicken Tikka Dhansak I had this week was honestly the best I've ever had, hands down. I've been going to Vojan for years but I think they're at their best just now. Cannot recommend enough, especially for big parties as they have loads of space and good buffet deals.
