Oh dear- I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was let down by slow service, clearly "warmed -up" dishes and (at least for me) a gloomy atmosphere. There was one waiter on duty, answering calls, serving food and sorting out the buffet; a charming young man but much too much for him to do. Epping is blessed with other Indian restaurants and nothing I've had today will encourage me to go back to Coriander. Sorry!

We ate here a few weeks ago. We booked a large table so there were a few of us. The food was really good as were the staff. However one thing happened which is why I didn’t give a 5* review on the service. We settled the bill plus tip which was quite a big one but were then told we still owed them 81p! Yes just 81p. Obviously we paid it but they actually stood there and waited. A little embarrassing 😳not quite sure how we were 81p short as we paid bill plus tip but wasn’t going to argue over it 🤦🏼♀️

I've only recently started using this curry house as my normal one has become too expensive. The Madras is a bit too mild for my taste but everything is beautifully cooked and the service is excellent. I like the fact that I can order online overcoming the confusing language issues I frequently have using the phone.

Good food in a cool atmosphere. As always with good South Asian restaurants beware about having eyes larger than your stomachs, as we did.

Genuinely the best curry I've had in years. Popped in for a spontaneous Wednesday night and wasn't disappointed. Poppadoms, excellent chutneys, Adha Diya, chicken madras, Saag Aloo, pilau, and a garlic naan with extra garlic 👌 all delicious, well cooked, and importantly all had their own individual flavours. All of the above plus a pint and a bottle of prosecco came to £70 and worth every penny. Spoilt for choice on the menu - can't wait to return and try the rest of it.

Amazing new Indian in Epping. The food was absolutely superb and different to the normal, specialities from Nepal and Bangladesh to name a few . Incredible decor and a lovely bright bar area. Very attentive , friendly staff who are clearly proud of what they serve. I only mark down on atmosphere because there were only a couple of tables taken, it needs the word to spread then they will be taking bookings by the bucket load. Give it a try before the word gets out, you won’t be disappointed!

No starter just 3 dishes and 2 rice and 2 beers in total. The one in Buckhurst is far better

I 100% recommend you eat here if you want a calming dinner, to have a lavish celebration or just for a night out. The best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted with low, mid and high spices.

Our takeaway was one of the best I've had from Coriander. Food delivered on time, piping hot, good amount of mushrooms in rice, everything fresh and lovely Thank you guys thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not great, most dishes lack a real depth of flavour and consistency. They are a bit meh, and OK. Naans nice, but that's about it. Far too many better Indian takeaways in the local area too order again

Have ordered a couple of takeaways and they have been strong in some areas - the breads, bhajis and sides are of a good standard. However after ordering several different main dishes the sauces are lacking in flavour or richness, the chicken bhuna we had was almost bland. Unfortunately we wouldn't order again as there are other local Indians with much better Curry's and better quality meat.

I came here for a friends birthday and was blown away! The food and service was absolutely incredible. The lamb chop starter which was absolutely divine. A surprise homemade birthday cake was brought out at the end - I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more.

Went here Saturday night around 7pm. Staff super friendly and helpful and lots of staff on hand which is great, as normally I'm searching for someone for what's seems ages. The food was amazing. Personally I felt the Oinion Bharjis were a bit dry, but the wife loved them saying they were really crispy, and she preferred that to the more stodgy ones. Each to their own. The Samoas were perfect thought for me. Mains were all great with lots of non-typical dishes on the menu, but don't worry there are some classics there that should satisfy the less adventures diner. Only my son had room for some desert, and he (and I on a little nibble) thought the Mint Ice cream was ace. Overall a great evening. Only minor complaint is that it does get a little noisy in there, but it's not a deal breaker. Finally the bill came; with starters, drinks (including a pint of beer), the total was very reasonable. Will definitely return and try some other dishes.

Amazing experience, we had an early sitting to cater to my 15 month old. Her first indian restaurant experience! We all had a great time, the food was amazing and plentiful. But the real highlight was the incredible staff. All of them made our night fantastic and deserve credit x

Gaynes Park is my favourite barn wedding venue in Essex! Quite the statement, I know, but it is simply amazing! I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing many beautiful weddings at Gaynes Park, and every time it blows me away just how picturesque it is, no matter the season. I truly believe it is the most personal and inviting place where you feel like the venue is yours to make unique! Couples can make the most of the stunning surroundings, while their guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space to mingle. As a venue, Gaynes Park is completely accommodating, offering beautiful preparation areas, a lovely outdoor ceremony space, a timeless Orangery for the ceremony, and the barn for the wedding breakfast and party. From a photography perspective, it doesn’t get more beautiful than this. Whether it’s the iconic gardens, the picturesque Orangery, or the scenic countryside views, every detail adds charm! The team here are so lovely, and I am always super excited to return. Kindest regards, Sam Rundle Photography

Had a great meal with my work colleagues. We was a party of 10, the service and food was exceptional, great cocktails, the staff were very friendly and professional. Had the scallops for starters and the chimichurri sirloin for mains, both cooked to perfection. Thanks a lot!
