So disappointed. Online order tonight via Just Eat. Food took almost two hours to arrive. Had to ring to chase. Wrong food which was also cold and too spicy. Threw quite a lot of food away. Will not order again after this experience

Sunday buffet! Needs to be more advertised as it was very quiet but best Indian buffet I’ve been to food was yummy. Restaurant is very clean and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit

We usually order from here and find the food ok but this evening the food was absolutely terrible, so bad I’ve felt I need to warn people. On opening the chicken korma there was a foul smell, can only liken it to damp, then the same on tasting the Lamb korma, a foul taste of damp. The mint sauce also tasted curdled. We ended up throwing away over 25 quids worth of food. Got me thinking could this be the reason the restaurant is currently offering 30% off.

We booked this restaurant only because our usual Indian restaurants could not fit us in. But in hindsight we are very pleased to have found The Coriander. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. Portion sizes were good and reasonably priced. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future.

Oh dear- I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was let down by slow service, clearly "warmed -up" dishes and (at least for me) a gloomy atmosphere. There was one waiter on duty, answering calls, serving food and sorting out the buffet; a charming young man but much too much for him to do. Epping is blessed with other Indian restaurants and nothing I've had today will encourage me to go back to Coriander. Sorry!

We ate here a few weeks ago. We booked a large table so there were a few of us. The food was really good as were the staff. However one thing happened which is why I didn’t give a 5* review on the service. We settled the bill plus tip which was quite a big one but were then told we still owed them 81p! Yes just 81p. Obviously we paid it but they actually stood there and waited. A little embarrassing 😳not quite sure how we were 81p short as we paid bill plus tip but wasn’t going to argue over it 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've only recently started using this curry house as my normal one has become too expensive. The Madras is a bit too mild for my taste but everything is beautifully cooked and the service is excellent. I like the fact that I can order online overcoming the confusing language issues I frequently have using the phone.

Good food in a cool atmosphere. As always with good South Asian restaurants beware about having eyes larger than your stomachs, as we did.

Genuinely the best curry I've had in years. Popped in for a spontaneous Wednesday night and wasn't disappointed. Poppadoms, excellent chutneys, Adha Diya, chicken madras, Saag Aloo, pilau, and a garlic naan with extra garlic 👌 all delicious, well cooked, and importantly all had their own individual flavours. All of the above plus a pint and a bottle of prosecco came to £70 and worth every penny. Spoilt for choice on the menu - can't wait to return and try the rest of it.

Amazing new Indian in Epping. The food was absolutely superb and different to the normal, specialities from Nepal and Bangladesh to name a few . Incredible decor and a lovely bright bar area. Very attentive , friendly staff who are clearly proud of what they serve. I only mark down on atmosphere because there were only a couple of tables taken, it needs the word to spread then they will be taking bookings by the bucket load. Give it a try before the word gets out, you won’t be disappointed!

Not great, most dishes lack a real depth of flavour and consistency. They are a bit meh, and OK. Naans nice, but that's about it. Far too many better Indian takeaways in the local area too order again

Have ordered a couple of takeaways and they have been strong in some areas - the breads, bhajis and sides are of a good standard. However after ordering several different main dishes the sauces are lacking in flavour or richness, the chicken bhuna we had was almost bland. Unfortunately we wouldn't order again as there are other local Indians with much better Curry's and better quality meat.

Went here Saturday night around 7pm. Staff super friendly and helpful and lots of staff on hand which is great, as normally I'm searching for someone for what's seems ages. The food was amazing. Personally I felt the Oinion Bharjis were a bit dry, but the wife loved them saying they were really crispy, and she preferred that to the more stodgy ones. Each to their own. The Samoas were perfect thought for me. Mains were all great with lots of non-typical dishes on the menu, but don't worry there are some classics there that should satisfy the less adventures diner. Only my son had room for some desert, and he (and I on a little nibble) thought the Mint Ice cream was ace. Overall a great evening. Only minor complaint is that it does get a little noisy in there, but it's not a deal breaker. Finally the bill came; with starters, drinks (including a pint of beer), the total was very reasonable. Will definitely return and try some other dishes.

No reservation, no problem, Saturday lunchtime. 3 courses for £20. Mushroom 'soup' was awful with no spoon. S&a pie with mash & veg was very good. Creme brulé was disappointing and we had to pay extra for custard in a jug. Was taken as a treat so I'm not complaining but I'm glad I didn't have to pay. Decor was bland, music was odd (mostly American soft rock), staff were disinterested young girls, chef Lambti doesn't want to hear constructive criticism (fruit crumble had issues), toilets were dated and literally next to our table. 3/5, everything was mediocre. Wouldn't go back.

Went on Sunday, initially we were seated near to the door to the toilets, and was quite a busy area, but we asked if it would be possible to move, and they changed some tables around so that it would be possible, which was really nice of them to do. The food was very good, we had the lamb, pork and beef roasts, and we were all very happy. It's definitely one of the best if not the best restaurants for roast dinners in the area, the meat was very tender and flavoursome, and the vegetables and sides were top notch. The deserts were also of a high standard. It may be a little more expensive than other similar restaurants, but everything is high quality, there isn't any skimping on ingredients or meat, and the size of the portions. It's hard to ask for much better really. So paying the extra really is worth it. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. One minor critisism would be the background music, it was house music, which I like, but I wasn't sure it really suited the restaurant. It wasn't loud or intrusive or anything like that though. Overall the service was very good, not rushed, but not too slow either. The staff were all very friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a lovely evening at The Chambers. Food was excellent. Amazing flavours, totally different experience from your standard Indian restaurant with a nod to traditional style Indian food served in a modern way. Serving staff were attentive and friendly. Decor was modern and good atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
