The best restaurants in East of England

I come here regularly. The food is always amazing. The girls that work here are always smiling very friendly and very efficient. Everyone here is wonderful. Very kind and make you want to come back. Recommend great meals and they all taste amazing. Cannot fault this place!!!

Really good potato pancakes with salmon and the sauce was also spot on, also got a Napoleonas dessert which was really good too. Also good portion of Cepelinai. Really enjoyed the food and our native beer. 👍

My husband is Gluten Intolerant so fish & chips was never a choice for him. We recently went to Ware and he was please to be able to have gluten free batter. His words were the best fish & chips he’s had in years. One happy chap x

Went on Tuesday, turns out it gluten-free night , wow fish was massive, chips a plenty generous portions, freshly prepared cooked to order, top quality ingredients, spotlessly clean throughout, friendly polite staff would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back

Unfortunately I think this cafe has gone downhill. I visit it regularly but today I was with one other person for just coffee and scone/tea cake. My friend’s scone arrived warmed but I had to wait 29 mins for my tea cake and he had finished his coffee and scone by the time mine arrived. I had to go to the counter twice to ask for them to query where mine was. Very disappointing with Off-hand staff who didn’t seem bothered!

Probably the best cocktails in town. The drinks are so nice, decent price & the service is always great! Great layout & décor.

Very enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal in this chic eaterie. Good menu with lots of variety and vegetarian choices, shame some dishes not available on a Sunday. We were told one of the meals was mild but it was so spicy sister in law couldn't eat it, resolved by the staff with no fuss at the time. Pil pil prawns were so good! Like most places now it is expensive and drinks really push the bill up but for a one off as a celebration it was nice.

A hidden gem tucked away off the main road. Great place for a drink with a great garden. Unfortunately no longer doing food.

Found this by chance and glade I have!

Extremely disappointed. Spent Over £40 on tasteless watery curry’s. Our dishes were swimming. Sag paneer tasted of watery spinach. Naan was burnt and paper thin. HORRIBLE!!! Doesn’t deserve the stars even though they are friendly.

A long over due review. We have been eating here since we moved into the area last year. We come for a treat, usually a birthday and they never disappoint us. Us adults always try something new every time and the children always have Korma! And it’s always a winner!! Through the holidays this lovely restaurant offers ‘kids eat free’ when eating in. Tonight my son and my daughter wanted a take away as a little tired from a busy birthday weekend. Thank you Zzohanna for letting us have the offer at home for his birthday. I know this isn’t usually aloud either! 🎁 Added pictures of our other brilliant previous visits with the children. Thank you Zzohanna for great food, service and hospitality! It’s one of our top 5 places to go, and the children’s no. 1!! Hence my son wanted this as his birthday dinner treat. (He is 9)
