The best restaurants in Thurrock East of England

Had our first take away from here in years. Food arrived piping hot and extremely fresh. The chicken was really juicy. Will defo be ordering again!

chicken bit overcooked but can live with that. chips ok. drinks not delivered. had to walk out to street to get it. delivery guy parked on the street and phoned me to get out to get it. he wasn’t bothered to deliver to 1st floor.

We recently visited Prezzo, and overall, it was a good experience. The food was delicious, and the dishes we ordered were well-prepared and flavorful. The ambiance was also lovely, with a nice interior design that made the setting comfortable and inviting. While we enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the service could use some improvement. There was a delay with my coffee, and it took about 20 minutes to arrive. However, our server was very polite, apologized for the wait, and kindly offered us an extra drink on the house to make up for it. All in all, it was a positive experience, and we appreciated the friendly gesture from the staff. With a bit more focus on timing, this place could be even better. Looking forward to visiting again!

Absolutely delicious and the portions were really generous. Unlikely to go anywhere else after this. I had the buttermilk chicken rice bowl and it was as lovely as I've had in any restaurant. Less than £7 and I am full and happy. Lots of gluten free choice too.

Bought medium kebab got food poisoning now,been up all night sick now diarrhoea, can't move off settee avoid at all costs

Good clear ordering pages, individual pizza description found for "bundle" after a bit of digging. Payment page clear and simple to use. On target delivery. Quality and amount of order excellent. Will use again. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Leavers of Woodside County Primary School 1986-1989 met yesterday for a delicious and plentiful reunion buffet in North Stifford. Shout out to Bobby and staff at the pub for making our event run so smoothly…nothing was too much for them and everyone enjoyed their drinks and the wide range of foods: Crispy Prawns Nachos (V) Onion Rings with BBQ Sauce (V) BBQ-Glazed Chicken Wings Garlic Bread (V) Beer-Battered Salt and Pepper Mushrooms* with Blue Cheese Sauce (V) Salt and Chilli Chicken Fries with Spicy Salsa Sauce Mozzarella and Jalapeño Sticks* with Sweet Chilli Sauce (V) Vegetable Samosas with Mango Chutney (VE) Cheese and Tomato Wrap (V) BLT Wrap Southern-Fried Chicken Wrap They set up the area with our buffet so beautifully and I would recommend it as an ideal place for a get-together.

Normally really good but this time awful. Ordered food and 20 minutes before delivery due cancelled with no explanation

Just spent nearly £30 in there and I can categorically say I've been robbed. Definitely one of the worst takeaways I've had. Had em from here before and they've been OK but this was truly atrocious put me off going back only ate half the other half went straight in the bin. Maybe have a word with the chef the food was bland tasteless and sweet and sour was dreadful. Avoid until they rethink chef situation

Sooooo impressed! Came here around 6 months ago and was shocked at how bad it was! Everything sticky and gross… however came tonight to give it another try. Really pleasantly surprised! Manager greeted us at the door and was shown to our table. I’m a vegan and the food was really good and had a meat alternative for me! My boyfriend isn’t and he said his carvery was great, meat was great! Started talking to the manager and he said there has been a change in management which makes sense with how much better the place is! Will definitely be returning! As a vegan I prefer this place over a Tobey any day!

A huge Thank You to Mary! We ordered waffles and toppings which were not on the set menu and she whipped them up for us with no problem. Not only was Mary very friendly and welcoming but she made the most delicious milkshake and waffles too. I would highly recommend visinting Creams at Lakeside especially if you see Mary’s lovely smile behind the counter.
