IKEA Restaurant in Thurrock

How is it acceptable or even possible that ikea are serving such low quality food with poor levels of customer service. This type of food reminded me of a primary school in a deprived area. Can't even say its low quality reflects the price because the price is way to high in comparison to the quality. Food was cold, dry considering it was supposed to be a hot meal. Only thing I enjoyed was the coffee only because it was hot!! Never ever again.

I visited IKEA restaurant on Saturday evening the food ( especially the meatballs) and customer service was brilliant. when paying for my food I was served by a young lady, Alisha. She helped me understand the use of the family card and overall think she is a lovley worker !

Terrible. Nobody cares. Staff were over worked and stressed due to shortages. Food was cold and woefully tasteless... what happened to the meat balls!? Small portion, cold mash, amebic gravy and no side sauce. Waited over 30 mins in the queue for nothing. Never going back.

Found metal scourer pieces in my kids' plate , reported, and nobody cares less probably they're kid's don't eat at ikea!

The food was fantastic and the service was quick as it is a self serve.

I really like meat balls and mashed potatoes here. Delicious and cheap. Deserts are good. But less meal selections. Good place to have lunch during the ikea shopping. Heavily crowded, but you will find a place to sit as there is enough space.

For the price and that ikea shopping experience, the food was average but well worth a try.

Arrived just before 8pm had the fish and chips. It was like warm to cold. Halfway through our meal all the tables had their chairs put up on them. So we were sitting surrounded by tables with there chairs stacked up on them. How uncomfortable that was. Then I needed the loo urgently, whilst in a cubical the cleaner came in, I constantly watched as a mop came under the sides of my cubicle Talking about hinting that I should leave.

In a polar opposite to their marketing of a "magical experience" for my visit, my experience was: - Waiting 30 minutes in a glacial-paced line - Being told that I'd then need to wait a further 15 minutes if I wanted fish & chips - On ordering meatballs instead, being told there was no peas or mushy peas, and that not alternative was available - Discovering that all the loganberry sauce had run out - Get a "coke" from the fountain tap that was just sofa water with a clearly empty pre-mix still attached. So do still visit if you want an experience, as long as the one your looking for is delay, disappointment and dubious service. Otherwise, just head to one of the numerous other (superior) restaurants at Lakeside, as I will be doing in the future

Got a veggie fry up from what is basically a canteen. Grabbed a croissant and tea as well. Fry up was fine without being anything spectacular. Croissant was an almond one and was alright as well. Lots of seating was available at a time there were lots of people in the morning. Ok for a quick bite if you’re spending a fair bit of time in Ikea.

Poor quality food and drinks ,also very expensive ,3 of us We had fish and chips, curry and rice and meatballs ,one worse than others ,seems and taste like Asda's smart price white label frozen food, won't eat there anymore ,very poor

Only 1 coffee machine on and only 2 options americano or hot water

La comida es muy mala, no tiene sabor, muy mala calidad. El precio me pareció muy caro ya que la comida es MALISIMA! No volvería 👎🏻

Waited ages to be served the food was good but my husbands cup had lipstick on it, I do have a photo, there was no one to complain to just a girl who was nice but unsure what to say or do. The coffee wasn’t even that good! I will get someone to listen it’s not good enough.

IKEA Meatballs never disappoint. It’s the best way to reward myself after navigating the endless maze that is IKEA. Decent portion and pricing.

Meat free meatballs and meatballs, meat free hot dog and hot dog, plus fries for take away. Me and my sister have been hungry and decided to have fast food. It's cheapest place ever, hot dogs not even a pound. It was surprisingly good. Both of us have enjoyed it and would buy it again. Meat free meatballs have been especially tasty. Loved it! For meal for 2 we paid £5. Price have not represented quality. I would pay for this more.

Shopping was fine just put off the restaurant by staff keep touching there masks while serving food not good
