Unplanned visit so I didn’t read any reviews before I went in gladly! This morning I’ve had the best coffee I’ve had in quite a while. Perfectly made flat white. I like the coffee beans they’re using and it was made so well - a genuine flat white which is hard to fine.
Decor not to my taste and they need to keep on top of cleaning the facilities a bit better (passable but could be better) but next time I’m in St Albans I’ll definitely go back for another coffee.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
We popped in for lunch and were shocked at the poor food handling. We watched the lady handling the food, eating from the cheese slice container, rubbing her nose and face, scratching her head and handling the food! Totally unacceptable. Needless to say we didn’t eat anything. The toilets smelt and were dirty, as was the floor in the cafe. Rubbish! Lots of better places
This place is ideal if you just love salads. There are huge portions and a large variety of delicious dishes to choose. It's fun to make your selection.
I would, however, prefer to have a slightly smaller plateful for a little less money. Otherwise, it's a really healthy lunch.
Visited Pausa in Wolverhampton Dunelm for lunch waited 25mins to be served ! No soup, no jacket spuds !! No system you have one person serving drinks so other staff can serve. When my husband asked why he was told to get out !! He is diabetic and had his injection so he needed to eat. He told them he wasn’t complaining he just wanted some answers. If you are going to offer cafe facilities please ensure they are run efficiently. If you don’t have the items take them off the menu. I am sorry to write this but all the customers were complaining I shop at Dunelm regularly it is a great shop, but sorry will not use cafe again. Mrs Tame
Placed a order on just eat after a hour pasted from. When it was meant to turn up i called them appartly they've already come out but no missed calls on my phone when we get are food it was awful I would say the worse I have ever had.
Coffee was delicious..americano with hot milk on the side. Very nice scone and cream.
Some tables hadn't been cleared but there was enough space. Counter service a little slow but it was quite busy. Glad to see pastries were covered.
We visit the Beech House every weekend for a lovely coffee and pastry on a long bike ride, staff are amazing, especially Misha who is always smiling and is a pleasure to converse with 1st thing in the morning :)
