Visited Pausa in Wolverhampton Dunelm for lunch waited 25mins to be served ! No soup, no jacket spuds !! No system you have one person serving drinks so other staff can serve. When my husband asked why he was told to get out !! He is diabetic and had his injection so he needed to eat. He told them he wasn’t complaining he just wanted some answers. If you are going to offer cafe facilities please ensure they are run efficiently. If you don’t have the items take them off the menu. I am sorry to write this but all the customers were complaining I shop at Dunelm regularly it is a great shop, but sorry will not use cafe again. Mrs Tame

I’ve just ordered a Latte at Pausa the cafe in Dunelm Slough which I’ve just left in the table because it’s absolutely awful. Really strong, no nice frothy milk on top. I might as well has asked for an Americano. Do people not know how to make a latte anymore, it’s a joke. I wouldn’t give it a rating but unfortunately I have to so I’ve begrudgingly given 1 star

It is our second visit here. Both times the staff were lovely and very helpful. Vegan option available! Toasted hot sandwiches, salad. Very tasty. Nice coffee, soya milk available. Peaceful, nice break from shopping. We actually came for the cafe.

This is a really great little place to go; it was VERY VERY good. There is quite a large selection, yet everything is very well presented and very tasty, from the hot drinks to the cold food! Personally, the hot chocolate and jacket potato were my favourites, but everything is really nice here! The toilets let it down a tad, but I would DEFINITELY recommend a visit!

Sorry I really wanted to be kind as it was a good location to bring my son here after school but it was just a mess. Food was ok but there’s not much of stuff left at 3pm ish (understandable) but they serve hot food so we were fine. Kids meal was good value but again hardly anything left. I was really put off by the amount of plates and cups everywhere.... looked like a member of staff was on her lunch and the poor girl serving (she did a fab job) was just on her own so I could see why some things would fall down. I would have expected the member or staff on lunch so have the common sense to just move some of the used plates / cups out of the way allowing people to sit. Anyway it was her lunch after all but I personally would have been a bit more mindful in her position. Also lots of staff hanging around - again appreciate they are a different dept but rather than chat maybe help pass over a few cups? Maybe that’s just me! Pics attached.

Arrived in store and went straight to the coffee shop as thought it would be a nice treat but unfortunatley my daughter and i had the followimg problems; . Dumelm staff looking at phones infront of the sandwich chiller ,which made it difficult for us to see what was available . Limited choice of sandwiches as taken by staff into the preparation room . One chiller closed due to fault . Service extremely slow . Soup was boiling but seemed cold on top but when stired causing me to burn my mouth as i realised it had been microwaved-staff didnt warn me ! .cob was stone cold -i returned this and it was heated in the microwave ,no butter .Tables were not cleared .floor dirty This coffee shop could be so much better -overall our experiemce of dunelm on this occasion was poor as the que at the checkout was extremely long with only two tills operating

The Pausa Coffee Shop, upstairs in Dumelm, serves a wide range of snacks and drinks. In addition there was a selection of tabloid newspapers (Mail, Express and The Sun) and colouring sheets and crayons for children. I found the coffee shop rather dark (an improvement to the lighting would make this coffee shop a lot more inviting). There are several tables along the gallery edge, along with some soft seating, where there is better (natural) lighting. The kids food fun bags (£2.99) look good value (and fun) Food and drink were reasonably priced, but were of average quality.

Really disappointing. Ive seen so many branches of this business, often in good locations that I had high expectations. In the event the two staff members I spoke to were really sour faced - forced smiles and even then only just. In terms of the product, why is it so hard to take the drinks to the customer in such a small establishment? Instead they opted to shriek my name across the room and turn away. Also, my flat white came in a tiny handle-less bowl. WTF is that all about? All substance over form - get back to being a shop selling tea, coffee & cake (but I won’t be back).

We were served by Emily with a smile and a greeting. I ordered a cold drink they didn’t have nonetheless I asked for a cold latte & if they could rustle up a cold ‘hot’ chocolate. We ordered a sandwich (without cucumber) but onions. The response was ‘can do’ - with a smile and no problem. The cold ‘hot’ chocolate was delicious and in case it wasn’t they made me a hot chocolate equally delicious. My faith in customer service was definitely positive and I thank Emily and her co-worker. Both ladies are a credit to the Notcutts work force. Thank you. We will be back!!!

A lovely location for a tea room, sadly we were let down by the food. The scones were warmed up to hide the fact they were stale and the jam was a cheap jelly. My son’s eggs were so under cooked the whites were still clear. My husband ordered a meat pie, we had to laugh as it was the smallest portion. Having said all that our waitress was lovely and very friendly. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

Great atmosphere, genuinely welcoming whether coming in for a quick coffee, a pint, or food. Inside and outside facilities spotless!
