Fast-casual Japanese restaurant, great staff and service, low lighting, and good food. Food and drinks were served promptly.

Ordered food and waited almost 2 hours when phoned restaurant they told me it’s on its way and remained waiting.. in the end cancelled my order never will return.

Great food, the suya is made from good steak, with perfectly fried plantain and good salad, large sharing portion great atmosphere, music etc

Really yummy food! We had jerk chicken and rice with peas and veggies- all really fresh and om nom noms. Johnny made a coleslaw fresh even though he'd run out. What a sweetie! We'll be back again soon! Thanks J 🌸💖

Excellent service excellent food

One bolognese, had nearly no sauce, the potions wher very small which actually was a good thing if we had not had to pay for it, not good at all, seemed Sunday evening want to get home meal!!!

It was a game of 2 halves at the restaurant. It had one saving grace. The food was amazing, it was quite possibly the best burger and chips I've ever had, and I've had quite a few in my time. So for me to say that, it was genuinely really nice. It was a party of 3 and we all had different chips and burgers and none of them disappointed. Good portion sized and good amount of bits and sauces added to the chips. The service on the other hand. Was one of the worst I've EVER received. Keeping in mind that you order at your table by scanning a QR code and pay on your phone. So the only thing they do is bring your food over. It took over 50 minutes for 3 burgers and chips. I had 2 kids getting very irritated and by the end so was I. The restaurant was almost empty other than 4 other tables being occupied with couple ls, so no big groups. No cutlery brought over, no sauces I felt like we was a a problem for the waiter rather than being a customer. If it wasn't for the quality of the food this place would be getting 1 star, but I can't decide if 1 or 2 stars should be knocked off due to the shocking service.

Absolutely worth a visit! It was so nice to eat a meal that (took me back to the 90’s) The restaurant was clean , the food was freshly cooked , the staff were so friendly. Definitely go back again when visiting Southend .

Great food and reasonably priced, fast service . My one disappointment is that this takeaway is never open at 4:30pm as stated on the opening times

Normalmente nos encantan Shakeaways y soy un gran admirador. Yo estaba tan decepcionado con mi visita de hoy. Yo sólo tenía unos minutos, así que solo pedimos básico aéreo ó menta. Había dos camareros, pero entre ellos tardó casi veinte minutos para hacer mi apretón mientras reían y sniggering me y la otra al cliente en la tienda sentir muy incómodo. Cuando finalmente recibí mi apretón no gusto demasiado y terminó arrojando más de distancia. Muy decepcionante, ya que decir que me encanta la experiencia shakeaway normalmente.

Lovely place to chill and watch the world go by. Perfect for ore or post cinema coffee, grab in a to go cup and your ready for a movie as Odeon is right outside.

Bad service as they are too interested in chatting to their mates and never have more then one person serving I wouldn't mind normally but I'm a community carer and am pushed for time not that these workers care about that

delivered to wrong address and someone else has my food

I’ve been craving for Chinese food and decided to give Happy House a try. I ordered egg fried rice, sweet and sour king prawn balls with the sauce, and a dish in black bean sauce. I got free prawn crackers (thanks). Portion sizes are good and I’ve got enough left over for tomorrow. I would order from here again and choose different things from the menu in order to see what else I like.

very good portion sizes the sweet and sour chicken was excellent but the Thai rice i felt it needed more flavour and more chillies in singapore noodles other than that I enjoyed my meal.
