The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Victoria Southend-on-Sea East of England

Just grabbed 2 cod and chips from Henry Higgins and as usual absolutely banging!! Huge portion, cooked amazingly, not greasy at all. Succulent cod in a super crispy batter and the best chips in southend. Amazing value compared to the other chip shops around. If you really appreciate decent fish and chips don't bother going anywhere else use these guys, you will not be disappointed.

the last couple of orders the chips have been very under cooked. very pale in colour and limp. they used to have a nice golden colour to them, so I'm not sure what's changed. the curry sauce was so think I could use it as paste. the onion rings were nice though. this is the 3rd time I've been unhappy with the food and I don't think I'll be ordering again 😢
