The beef in the burger is very juicy and flavourful. I got the beef chilli loaded fries which was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Satisfied our meat cravings. Will visit again.

I took my daughter to the Brickhouse in Southend. Absolutely enjoyed every minute. The food was amazing!! My daughter stated that she really enjoyed how juicy the burgers were and it will keep her full for ages Thank you all, well done 👏

Food was very good, I had steak and chips and was very tasty and good value.

Went here a little while ago with partner and some friends for pre drinks and food. I had a burger as did most of us and it was quite nice. Little on the pricier side but still nice food would go again if the opportunity arises.

One off our favorite places to eat the food is great and very feeling, the place looks very trendy and clean and the cocktails are wonderful.

Beautiful food and very plentiful

Good place to eat, went in the evening for dinner, vast menu and tasty food. Although waited 45 + minutes for food and around 20 minutes just for a cola and a lemonade. Shocking really ! It’s also cheeky and disappointing the mandatory service charge every time you order food or drinks, as the waiters aren’t taking your order for you, they are just bringing it over 45 minutes after ordering ??? I have got to say to Ashley - waiter that works there, deserves a raise. He’s rushed off of his feet and you can see the amount of effort he puts in to get the orders out, running up and downstairs. Just phenomenal. 10/10 just for Ashley

Took an hour wait for a burger with some chicken wings. Then when the burger came it didn't even have the blue cheese in it so had to send it back. It wasn't even busy so don't understand why the food took so long and was wrong

We frequently go to brickhouse. Good food and good vibes. Love the lounge, great to chill out but still have fun with shuffle board or the pool tables.

The food was good. I really enjoyed the loaded chips. Very yummy. I also had the chicken strips, it wasn't as great. Probably my choice of sauce wasn't the best. Use the online menu. It's easier to understand and there are pictures.

Food wonderful staff polite, place clean but place could have better lighting

This company will constantly spam your inbox with offers trying to tempt you in. When you arrive their customer service quickly disappears, the food is served cold, the beer is flat, the food is average, chips are over priced. £3 extra for pulled pork on chips. Turns out to be just a small dollop from a table spoon. If they paid as much attention to their food and service as their spam emails this place would be great

Headed here for a little date night meal. Staff were absolutely lovely, can't fault them. Vegan options (THANK YOU!!) were great and generally all food was fab. Nice interior & love the light shades... If you ever get rid of them please sent them my way (The ones around the bar haha)

Have ordered from here for years and is always very tasty food, we occasionally eat in which is equally.very enjoyable and great, Cat is the best person for any recommendations, you will not be disappointed, Ben also has a wealth of cocktail knowledge and always happy to help, would highly recommend

The food took ages to arrive. We were a big ish party but if you can’t cope don’t take the booking. When it did arrive at best it was warm. Didn’t want to send it back as it took a millennium to arrive. It was tasteless, in fact road kill would have been more appetising. I would not recommend this restaurant even if there was nowhere else to eat. Spend your hard earned elsewhere

Had a nice bit of food was going to go for a burger when the manager suggested the ribs now I don't normally eat ribs but these are gorgeous tender and fell of the bone nicely... the loaded fries and mac and cheese was gorgeous deffently be back... Ben the manager was friendly and welcoming and deffently knows he does...

First of all, they had a qr code menu and order form but no wifi. You could order at the bar but why have the qr code if there’s no wifi?? Also, we order off two separate phones but they were both linked to the same table but one of our meals came out significantly sooner than the other. I got the LA chili burger which was okay. Not much flavor to it honestly. The side order of fries were probably the best thing. What really brings this down to two stars is that my friend got the steak over fries and it seemed as though they poured a whole stick of melted butter on top. The steak was dry and chewy but that wasn’t the worst part. It was on a bed of fries that were literally swimming in butter. Practically inedible. The drinks were fine. We both got a willy wonka. Would not come back here.

Took the Cyber Trust team out for a team get together. Burgers were great. Great range and nice cocktails. Great having the option of pool upstairs. We will be using again.

Absolutely awful, seriously gone downhill. Terrible service and terrible food, used to be great. Managed to burn cold food! Four different meals and all bad. Wasn’t busy so that’s no excuse.

Good atmosphere. Great service and reasonable prices.

Been here a few times and the food is always good. They were busy this time but managed to squeeze in 6 of us kindly for 90 mins. The only downer was our meals were staggered quite badly. Some of us had finished our meals before others even received theirs. Mine took 50 mins but it was very nice when it arrived. It's the only downer of app ordering. Miami BBQ wrap and chicken wings all the way. Will be heading there again at some point if they stay open. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the food. The topped fries are excellent 👌

Goid food, great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The Boston bacon burger was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll be coming back for sure.

I would recommend this to anyone and their families , I’ve always seen it but never came in but decided to pop in today and the amount of food you get for the price is amazing , I would recommend the brickhouse box , three little burger sliders with three choices of sides only for £14 , great music , great service from kat thank you for a great time x

Came for my birthday, spent a lot of money. Unnecessarily unhelpful staff. Also cold food. But it's the service. There are people here who don't care if this business succeeds. Whoever owns this place needs to fix that.

Really nice. Staff are polite and will let you use the toilet. Pool tables upstairs and you pay with card which is only £1.50 a game. Atmosphere is really nice not too busy and toilets are clean.

Love the place but the service is pretty poor

Fantastic place to eat. We like to make use of the burger meal deal, and the staff are always so lovely. Shout out to Cat who served us today, a smiley and helpful face to make the experience all the more enjoyable.

Terrible takeaway. The onions and pickles taste and look like they were bought from the reduced section in a local grocery store. The burgers were tasteless and soggy. Serious quality issue.

Worst takeaway we have ever had. The vegan beef patty tasted awful, the caramelized onions were soggy, and the pickles were rancid and most definitely out of date. The chips were ordered with the brickhouse seasoning but were plain without even salt. Never ordering from here again, we wasted nearly £30 on this bad food unfortunately.

From ordering, it took well over an hour. The man was rude & arrogant when I asked him why so long politely. I asked him to hold one while I checked if food was cold and he just walked off. Have it on door bell footage. The burgers were warm but chips stone cold. It’s a real pity because we’ve eaten there before and enjoyed all and ordered many times. Will not order again and will not recommend

My Experience Is So Good! The Staff Is Fantastic 😊 I'm Really Amazed How The The Food And Beverages Are Very Good I'm Glad

Went here, not good. Quite overpriced, paid almost 20 pound for an average portion of bacon cheesy chips, a few chicken nuggets and a small ice cream. Firstly, they didn't have the toppings I chose for my ice cream which was a bit annoying. Then it took about 20 minutes to bring out my food and the bacon cheesy chips were horrible. The chicken was ok however the rest was sub par. The ice cream I ordered was brought out much later than the other food meaning I had to wait a while after eating my meal for the ice cream to come out, which was served in a cheap paper cup and was also not nice. Overall not good, wouldn't recommend.

Popped in at 4.30 was seated ordered through the app not too bad waited for drinks about 10 minutes, waited nearly half an hour for food which was just warm, burger was pink, my husband took the food back! Nobody apologised to us at all 10 minutes later new food was bought to our table (why did we have to wait so long the 1st time?) Unfortunately my husband then had to go to an empty table for new cutlery and serviettes 2nd lot of food was hot! But there was not even an apology when dumping 2nd lot of food on our table, not even a bye as we left, such a shame the customer service has gone downhill since our last visit!

We were at the Brickhouse on Eadter Monday at 4pm. We hsd prebooked. W.e placed our order with a very helpful member off staff behind the bar. The order came to over£125. A few minures later we were told the chicken wings three of us had ordered were not available as they had run out. We eere asked to order an alternative. The othet two ordered chicken alternatives, however I ordered ribs. The person returned and said the manager had said because of the diffference in price we had to charge more. We asked to see the manager who duly appeared and I explained it was not our fault they had run out of wings, so I said we have just spent £125 as a gesture of good will can't you honour the yhe difference in price. She replied other people had spent £230 so I cannot do it. I said you just don't care about your customers and received no reply. We spent total£250. The difference in meals£6.45. Disgusting treatment by manager. Never again.

Ordered ribs and they was full of fat. The fries was over cooked. The glass that I drank from had a horrible taste. I couldn't ask for a refund I was too angry and I would have had to return everything. Service was fine but other than that not nice food

Ordered two burgers, three fries, a wrap and chicken wings. Both burgers were wrapped in tin foil, so both were soggy with oil and crushed flat by the delivery driver. The fries were cold, and the wrap had a fishy flavour. Finally the chicken was tasty but the coating was soggy. Ate what we could, but we didn't get far before we couldn't stomach any more. Massive let down that cost me £50+. Only good thing to come out of this was uber refunded £2.50.

Extremely dry chicken burger, had to order another drink to wash it down. The chips tasted like they was flicked off somebody's shoes. Friendly staff, but the food isn't worth the money.

I visited here to celebrate Mother's Day and my Birthday. I wanted to order something on the menu, but they had run out of because they had a big run on takeaways. The staff were lovely and treated us more than fairly and did everything they could to make sure our experience was good. The experience was excellent, the food was very nice and delicious and there were a variety of things on the menu that were of a very high quality. Me and my family are going to recommend this place to friends and family and obviously coming back 😄. Thanks to all the staff for working hard and providing an excellent service.

My previous experiences have been very good however the last couple not good at all, I’m very disappointed with the Yorkshire wrap which was very small and looks nothing like the photos, it was missing the cranberry had barely any stuffing so was essentially veggie chicken in gravy and didn’t really resemble a wrap, I would never pay £11 if I thought it was going to arrive like that. They also sent me a pot of gravy instead of the chips I ordered which adds to the disappointment

the food is quite overpriced considering it is served in a takeaway box me and my partner have been before and was unwell afterwards but thought nothing of it, we visited on valentine’s day and we both were sick for the rest of the week. i have heard the same from other people

Very nice pub nice food, nice staff

A awful disappointment for me and my friend. Basically if you like cheese your fine. The portions are misrepresented on advertisements and outlook in comparison to what arrives on your plate. Not very hearty, full on as it gives the impression of... go to alternatives within the local town that are not that far away to be honest.

This is becoming a regular order. The varied meat and veg, not to mention the generous portions is great value.

Large group of us went in for lunch today, all of enjoyed our food and drinks, I had the Miami BBQ burger and got to say best burger I've had in a long time if ever. Cocktails came in these skull 💀 glasses thought that was an excellent touch

Went here as a family of 5. Food was very good, we all enjoyed it. Service was very poor. Food arrived at the table, no cutlery to eat with and no napkins. No real attention paid to the customers. Wouldn't go back back unless the service was of a much better quality.

chicken had blood in it, service was really slow had waited nearly 45 minutes for my food to arrive. i found a pube like hair in my chicken wrap. i think my boyfriend has salmonella he has been projectile vomiting since we left. would not recommend this place.

Had dinner with a large group on 23rd December, there was a mix up when the plates came out and someone ate my meal by mistake. They had the remake it and it came out once everyone else had eaten. I was very impressed with the friendly staff how they gave such excellent customer service and refunded my meal as an apology for the mix up which I was very grateful for. Will definitely visit again.

Bang average food, toilets are disgusting. Zero atmosphere and all the staff are miserable, who obviously don’t want to work here. Food was hot but a solid 1.5/10, can get much better warmed up garbage in Wetherspoons…if that’s your thing? I’d recommend to avoid this place, or head to ‘spoons if you want cheap.

Me and my mum came here for a bite to eat tonight before meeting friends at half 7and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and as we were in a bit of a rush the lady said she would try and rush our order once they got it within 20mins of ordering if that our food arrived and it was delicious. Will definitely be coming again. Decent prices aswell and great atmosphere

There are a lot of tasty options including veggie options and items come on their own so you have a choice of sides etc. Ordering through the app is pretty simple but they don't offer WiFi so you will need mobile data or some other way to get on the internet. (Edit: or you can order directly at the bar!) Staff were friendly and food & drinks arrived quickly. Even though we ordered separately on the app, they brought our drinks and food together for the table. There are regular deals if you sign up to the mailing list and Yorkshire Pudding wraps on Sundays which are delicious!

Quick service and amazing food, staff were really friendly and the whole experience felt comfortable. I am not from this area but I will definitely be visiting at every opportunity in the future.

Quick to get seated, order through the qr code app, food and drinks came very quickly (5-10mins) Even better they didn't come and 'bug' us whilst eating.

Came in a group of 10 for a birthday, staff were friendly and the food was really good. Nice choice of cocktails. Also, upstairs there are 2 pool tables and other games to play. Midweek deal for burger, chips and drink was good value for money.

Been here a few times when I am in the area. The selection of food and drink is fantastic. The food is genuinely great and excellent value. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. If you visit, make sure to visit the upstairs for pool tables and shuffleboard. A great place just off the high street
