Subway in Southend-on-Sea

Bad service as they are too interested in chatting to their mates and never have more then one person serving I wouldn't mind normally but I'm a community carer and am pushed for time not that these workers care about that

The quality was good. What I ate anyway don’t remember eating any chicken which is what I ordered and got 1/4 box full of jalepenos.

It was all cold and the waffle fries were really chewy

Put spicy sauce and peppers in my friends order when they didn't ask for any? Delivery driver went to the wrong house even though the address was correct? My sandwich was nice though.

Food is good. Delivery driver was nice and polite. Cheerful too

Such rude jealous staff ( 2 rude girls), so nasty towards my husband and me, they don't listen to the customers properly and reacing deaf, they don't know how to react right to their customers, They served me extra nachos which I had to pay I didn't want to.

IF I COULD GIVE A LESS THAN 1 STAR REVIEW I WOULD. DO NOT EAT OR ORDER DELIVERY FROM HERE!!!!! Ordered via JustEat for delivery - only 3 simple sandwiches ordered. I ordered for myself a turkey wrap but was given a tuna wrap - tuna, to which I am allergic. I phoned the store asking for a remake of the sandwich, was demanded that I come to collect my remake as they ‘can’t trust the just eat drivers to redeliver’ an order as a gesture of goodwill. I was not offered an apology until I asked for one. Supposed ‘manager’ was incredibly unhelpful and rude. Said they only way I could get re delivery was to reorder and then request a refund through just eat which will only give account credit but since they fulfilled my order with something I am allergic to, I requested a full monetary refund to which I was rudely told that they could not do that - which is an outright lie. I asked to speak to someone higher and was just told no. No explanation and when I asked to have them contact me, ‘manager’ said no can’t do that. Owner is not available and will not be contacting me

Fed up with ordering from here, I can’t remember the last time they delivered the correct order and when you complain they don’t care

Bun wasn't toasted and missing cheese

Took them 30 minutes to get from the shop to me. Ridiculous.

Ordered the subway series sub. So you can’t change the sauce or salad. Sub arrived with no sauce or salad of any kind…

Very slow service took 15 mins for 2 foot longs. Server didn't listen and was to busy talking to his colleague. Be prepared to wait a while for your food.

the delivery time kept being changed and was an hour late from original delivery time. after waiting this long i had chips and toasted sub which was all stone cold. I did not enjoy this experience at all

Bad experience was 2hours late. When arrived I refused order and it was dumped on my door step not good service or attitude.

Order was great, loved the food, but was 10 minutes after the expected arrival time. We also had a drink missing, which was an inconvenience.

Food was cold due to being half an hour late. Ordered for 12:20 - arrived at 13:00.

There was missing items inside my sandwich. There was no egg or anything like that.

Turned up 1.5 hours late and freezing cold took 2 hours in total from order to be delivery my order was also wrong missing bacon and hash browns that I added the driver went offline unable to be tracked and when the tracking loaded he was at another restaurant obviously waiting for another order from a different app

10/10 delivery driver but the food was disgusting

Just eat delivery was fine but the subway was not as requested, I added on extras that I did not get!

The bread was horrible and flaky, on the edge of being stale. Filling of meatballs was cold. Also gave me the wrong drink. Lovely cookie tho

Sent 3 wrong things which were nothing like what was ordered. Haven’t even checked my sub yet. Disappointed beyond belief. Will never be ordering from this particular store ever again!

The food is good and all standards were met. There was a lack of staff during the visit, and due to that, preparation felt really rushed and wrong sauce used.

The Staff are rude to you when you order, and do not allow customizion to any of the subs, even though there website says you can and other stores do.

There were many items from the sub I ordered were missing which which was disappointing

Awful, forgotten items including the 9 hash browns, cookie, doritos and a mountain dew, also stone cold when it turned up, definitely the worst subway i’ve ever had.

Ordered melts but revived food as if it was straight out of the fridge and not toasted.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki wrap and was given a meatball marinara sub instead.

Good quality, tasty food, delivered on time. However, we didn't get exactly what we ordered, and no communication to let us know that you were changing our order (Not the first time this has happened either). One of our subs should have been without peppers. We only received one bag of crisps and you gave us the wrong drink and cookie. Please try harder to follow the detail of orders and please communicate if you have to deviate away from the order.

The food was late and as a result was cold upon arrival. When opened found that the incorrect bread had been used.

I’m honestly so disappointed in the service today , firstly asked what came with the kids pak to be told they didn’t know and walked off , I ask someone else and they said they didn’t know , so I asked why they didn’t know ? Surely they need to know working there ! Anyway it took 15 mins for me to pay because the guy couldn’t use the till .. so my food is cold … also charged me separately for drinks that came with the kids pack AND SHORT CHANGED ME ! Honestly not happy with my service atall , if u can’t employ staff who can make a basic sandwich u should really rethink what ur doing , no one changed gloves and one guy had no gloves atall !!! Gross would not like to think where his hands have been .

Cross.contamination between meat and cheese.....plus had to.ask for gloves to be changed after.

Wrong bread and was not toasted!

My Large meal deal was delivered as a small, I rang the restaurant and they explained that they can't send a Just Eat driver to sort it out and did offer to make it for me if I went but I was unable to do so. Also the wedges had 0 seasoning too. Hopefully the restaurants staff can improve and read the order sheet!

Ordered 3 cookies for my kids and got none.. wrong crisps sent, missing cheese in all subs, missing extras from subs and was cold and late.. very unhappy after not having a subway in soooo long 🙄 so disappointed

They got my order wrong and gave us a 1.5 litre of coke instead of tango, a drink I don’t like

One wrap was meant to be toasted but it was not so the cheese wasn’t melted and we asked for 2 cherry Pepsi max and instead got 2 normal Pepsi max. Read the orders!

Food hour late from time requested for delivery and turned up cold 🥶 not subways fault as I got the impression that the driver had had my order for a while was when it said driver on way he was miles away from restaurant in the wrong direction and he was rude and practically threw it at me

Cold bottle of Pepsi leaning on a hot sub is a dumb idea - other places wrap the sub then put it in a thick box to keep it separate. The cookie was good though!

Garlic bread with cheese with no cheese, took over an hour , delivered another order before ours in opposite direction to us food cold and dry.
