The best restaurants in Peterborough East of England

Es triste escuchar el cierre de este restaurante. Visito Peterborough mensualmente y he disfrutado viniendo a escuchar los últimos 5 meses como el personal encantador (Siempre pareció tener Becky como mi camarera) , buena comida, ambiente agradable y disfruté sentado en el bar después de la comida leyendo mi libro.

Deliver late 45 min,food cold and tasteless

Good meal,friendly service not bad price for that food. My children really look forward to get in there desserts. Highly recommend for families.

I can't remember a time when we didn't have regular takeaways from Chinatown and guessed it was probably about time to do a review! It's always been our go-to and for good reason. I've lived all around the country and I've never found food as good as this from a chinese takeaway. None of neon-glow sauce you get from lesser places, just proper well cooked fresh food. The food quality is excellent. I perhaps wouldn't overly recommend the restaurant (atmosphere not amazing...), the takeaway side is where the business is. Having said that I'd love to see them do something like a buffet on a Sunday, I think that would work really well (in the style of Thai Gardens in Rothwell). I've had many favourite dishes over the years but highlights are Stir fried beef cantonese style, satay chicken, sweet and sour chicken hong kong style and chicken curry. Please never retire!

From miserable service through to the pie which had sat long enough to render it’s base impenetrable by mere cutlery. Fortunately the beans and gravy masked limp chips. I arrived so hungry and tired I couldn’t be bothered to complain not that it would have made any difference to the prison guard behind the counter. Walk on by and spare yourself...

Not sure what to say…14 pounds for two fish and chips is steep, but probably expected. Wife brought it home to reveal portion is about half of what you would get everywhere else. First thing to note…the rancid smell of the fish. It was not fresh by any stretch! Chips looked anaemic, picked one to reveal it was still raw inside…not even close to cooked. Raw and watery potato. As I didn’t want a tummy ache, threw the lot after failing to contact the place…they seem to have several names and a number nobody answers. Best avoided

The most welcoming place we have ever been. Greeted by the owners who went out of their way to get to know our family. Instantly involved with the locals. This place has a really welcoming and inviting feel. While we were there it was a Karaoke night and wow, everyone got involved, the whole place was just laughs and honest conversations and there was not a bit of trouble from anyone. 100% will be returning, we feel like family already. This place is the definition of a local.

This place will try and scam you for a parking fine after you paid them for beer. I will not ever be returning to this establishment.

Fui a la tienda Woodston a pedir pastelitos de mango y frambuesa para el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Un miembro del personal aburrido e inútil me murmuró que no pueden hacer mango aquí, no pueden hacer fruta aquí, solo relleno de crema de frutas. Cuando me preguntaron si podía ordenar que se hicieran, me empujaron un folleto y me dijeron que hiciera un pedido en línea y comencé a irme antes de poder hacer más preguntas. También iba a preguntar por otro pastel y algunas velas y decoraciones de cumpleaños, pero Cake Inn perdió mi costumbre después de esto. Comprado en otra parte.

Worst McDonald's ever, rubbish everywhere, slow service, toilet unusable, cold food

Ordered from this place through uber eats, called to confirm they have received the delivery instructions that I put on the order they said yes but did not listen, my partner took a bite of her meal and went into anaphylaxis we have been in the hospital all night… DO NOT RECOMEND

order was delivered a little early but it’s okay because i was hungry! Delivery driver was super nice, he knocked on the door as i forgot to mention which doorbell to press, delicious food as always :)

Clean, fast, good food and they double checked my order to make sure it was correct. You can’t ask for more than that. I am a tourist in Peterborough and I will be grabbing food here again during my stay.
