Not sure what to say…14 pounds for two fish and chips is steep, but probably expected. Wife brought it home to reveal portion is about half of what you would get everywhere else. First thing to note…the rancid smell of the fish. It was not fresh by any stretch! Chips looked anaemic, picked one to reveal it was still raw inside…not even close to cooked. Raw and watery potato. As I didn’t want a tummy ache, threw the lot after failing to contact the place…they seem to have several names and a number nobody answers. Best avoided

Now called Oasis and under new management . I've had deliveries from here a couple of times. Good food , good prices and the owner seems like a really nice & pleasant bloke Always clean and tidy and freshly made food . Much better than before ! Try it .

Iba a desayunar aquí. Realmente no puedo recomendar

Booked a table in the restaurant, note restaurant, not cafe, for lunch. On arrival although there was a “wait here to be seated” sign, no staff were around. After waiting a while being totally ignored I walked up towards the till and spoke to a young lady, I said we have a table booked, she said “ask her” gesturing to the lady on the till. So I joined the queue. Then a guy came out and I said “excuse me, we have a table booked”, he checked and showed us to a table and then said “when you’re ready, order at the till”! No table service that you would expect in a restaurant. So having waited at the door, queued to actually tell someone we had a table booked and then realising we had to queue again to order food, we walked out, as did two other couples. This place is absolutely chaotic, if you advertise yourselves as a restaurant most people would expect table service. Won’t be returning and most definately would not recommend, lousy customer service.

Basic pub food. Only keg lagers/beers. Coffee abysmal. Not enough staff so expect long waits to get served. A nice location with a view down the rowing lake. A seal or two sometimes in residence in the lake or adjacent river basin.
