Mcdonald's in Peterborough

This has to be one of the slowest McDonald's in the UK - Queensgate Peterborough 57/58 Queensgate Centre Peterborough PE1 1NH Ordered at 15:41, for takeaway and I finally received my food at 16.01pm. 1 Double Cheeseburger came with the surprise of lettuce and bacon with no customisation by me or any label with these ingredients being added, so some poor person got my Double Cheeseburger and I got their creation luckily I eat bacon so no religious issues. Absolutely rammed with people waiting for their orders / UBER EATS drivers being prioritized. Rude service, not a smile in sight - can't get to the counter without barging fellow customers out of the way. Ordered before I arrived and still waited 20 minutes, and my order was wrong when I got outside to find seating in the square. My second visit in a week. The first was on Monday, exactly the same experience , and by some miracle, we managed to get a table. I then witnessed drug dealing and had the pleasure of a puppy wining for the 40 minutes we were in the restaurant waiting on food and eating.

It takes a while for any food to be served. Toilets are very very dirty and management seems rude and unorganised. some people here work so hard and their customer service is amazing tho

Usual McDonalds and same as every other. My brother didn't receive a part of his order though so customer service could do with some improvements.

Food cold, delivery was late because you are laying when ppl ordering good you give them false delivery time, after placing an order you extend delivery time up to two hours!!!

I ordered dips with my order but no dips and no straw for my milkshake meal was luke warm

Dirty tables and stinky bathrooms

This is what’s wrong with this app, you look what to order it says it will be 40 minutes, so you place the order it then asks if you want to tip the delivery person? Why before you get your order? Then once you pay the time goes up to an hour, then an hour and a half and finally turns up 2 hours later!!!

I really enjoy your food, but unfortunately the last 3 times the fries have been really cold.

I received wrong order spent £16 and received a £5 order requested a refund one week and still wait

Still a total disaster zone, the place is not fit for purpose, too many delivery riders, order to table not working, short asian floor woman telling me it's my fault, and also telling the app is not very good, then getting all upset. The app doesn't work causing untold confusion when trying to order with the error code the fries were undercooked (replaced after a wait) really needs some adult management working here and probably security if you could find anyone brave enough.

Would not recommend this McDonald’s as me and my friend ordered and was missing a drink and fries and my friend ordered a double cheeseburger and it came as a single cheeseburger so put in a complaint and then waited half an hour for a burger then said we needed a receipt for it then waited another 20 minutes for the burger

We are very disappointed, our food come absolutely cold, it was been late more then 20 min, it is without any sauce in inside.

order was soaked, coffee was basically empty by the time it arrived. Driver left dripping drinks bag on the counter over computer equipment which is not acceptable.

It's really busy, and on some occasions full of idiots that the staff will have to deal with.

Good food but pretty slow service. The new hash brown bites were delicious and coffee is good despite being a bit cold. The upstairs has no windows and the decor looks like someone has had a fit.

Requested for sides and I was told it is finished. That wasn't bad enough I wasn't given a straw for both milkshake I bought... Absolutely terrible customer service... Terrible

Man was awful and rude manners

No sense of politeness went to wrong address and just stayed there, my parter had to go find him and he had moved from the spot so it was just stressful. Got our food but freezing cold :(

Chip and pin on the self service never seems to work one or two of the servers always get the order wrong and each time we go in there always seem to be new staff and as a result service is getting slower and slower. Possibly the wrong one to train new staff in

Unfortunately not a good experience. Whilst the delivery was late, I can excuse this based on the time of day. However, I was missing my fries and my mayo chicken and despite ordering a double cheese burger, I received on a single that was cold.

My self and my 3 young boys came for lunch. I used the self service screen and got table services 110 table number service card. I waited with my boys for about 20mins and noticed other people had sat down after me but were racing their food orders before ours. I asked a young lad if he could go and check where my order was. 10mins later he came back upstairs with another tray order and blanked me wen I called him over. Then I'd seen a young girl and I called her over and asked I have now been waiting 30mins for my order can you please go and check, I explained that my children had additional needs and that they don't understand that it's taking to long they just know they ate hungry. She walks off but lady who was sat on a high table had caught them laughing about myself and never came back up. So the lady went down stairs to get the manger by this point I waited 55min for order. Spoke to the manger and explained how long I waited, hiw rude the workers were to find out that my order hadn't been received on their system. I asked for a refund and also that afternoon I explained to the girl and boy I had a hospital appointment and that I need to whats going on. Said this to the manger and she didn't seem that concerned, she did apologise but I asked her to apologise to my children that the restraunt had let them down but she wouldn't even look at them or acknowledge them even when I explained they had learning needs. So I gets my refund with an xtra 75p added to the refund. This has never happened before to us as a family but for my children they were upset to them it was like they didn't matter and that it was nothing to them. Also in the kitchen the milkshake machine had exploded all over the floor. A cleaner was venting to the manger whilst the manger was processing my refund. The staff looked stress and the young people who were working just didn't have a clue on how to deal with any of the kitchen issues that arose. Alot of costumers were cross because orders were wrong food hadn't shown. Not queensgate Mcdonalds. Also the manger wouldn't let me have recit back I went to queensgate mcdoanlds on the 19/10/24 I orderd my food at 11:42 table service number 110

Many foods are mid but the caramel frappé is so good. One time my sister got no patty in one of her burgers. There are a variety of places and one of them is acctually a good place to eat in unlike most McDonald's restaurants

Dys food wos wery cold so hard

Food was stone cold, didnt bother complaining as it took so long to get the food in the first place. The order machine was taking the order, but the card machine was broken. Had to do an order again at another machine. It was totally unorganised apart from one guy who worked so hard.

Driver called me as couldn’t find my house and never delivered my order

McDonald's is much much better than it was when i was a kid in the 80s and 90s. Staff are always great and food is solid with the exception of their chicken burgers and nuggets and their sausage mcmuffins. If you use the app get free stuff too.

Food cold waiting a long time for order

This location is not well designed, the ordering systems are in the way. The sitting area is a mess. Convert the whole downstairs to cater for ordering, pick-up and keep a few chairs for those that can't use the steps to the sitting area upstairs.

Delivery time said 10-20 minutes at time of order. Was given a time in 30 minutes. Time then kept going up and up until finally delivered 1 hour after ordering, took so long to be delivered after it left the restaurant

Received wrong items and missing some no customized options as well, not many products were in stock and was given ketchup that looked off and also the wrong dips were given. Edit after asking for the correct item I received the complete opposite asking for no cheese and sauce received only cheese and sauce, one job and you failed twice

Did not get what was odered and paid for. Too many staff not knowing what they were doing. Won't eat there again.

As a food intolerance sufferer I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and I received a crispy wrap instead..I spoke with manager and explained that im allergic to fatty food , she said sorry and she'll correct the mistake..2mins later handed me the same wrap with the crispy batter scraped off!! Aweful

Although this place used to be great for years, I've been disappointed lately. The food consistently arrives cold, and even when I order through the app to exclude onions from my burgers, they still end up on them. It's concerning that they aren't mindful of allergies related to onions. Additionally, during my last visit, I noticed the staff joking around instead of focusing on fulfilling orders, resulting in long waits. I waited an unbelievable 40 minutes just for a milkshake. Overall, it's been a disappointing experience. I won't consider returning until they improve their management, particularly in prioritizing quicker service, especially for single-serving drinks. Also being asked for what I've ordered when I had to go in a hurry and almost been late (guy really needs to be talked to)

So I took a chance and ordered here again this time I asked them to take certain things out of my burger due to allergies so no cheese and just onion and ketchup sure enough the burger came with cheese it went to the dog he had a great night fantastic what a waste of money again

Made two orders due to no answer from mcdonalds for missing food and still both had missing food in total of £32. Alot of missing food and the other food was cold and looked like its dried up and was solid chips especially. Have been calling the store for over 20 hrs now and no answer. I visited the town for a festival and can not go to the store physically and do not drive. In the end we didnt eat what we received obviously due to it being cold and being annoyed with the service!

I do not recommend this place. So far, it's the worst McDonald's I've eaten at, and I've been to hundreds across England. The manager on the day shift on August 14th was rude to her subordinate when I complained about not receiving four parts of our order. She told her subordinate to tell me to bring the food back because they didn't believe it was missing. I responded that if she wanted to check, she could come to my car and see for herself because my family was already eating what had been prepared. It turned out she was the one serving the food and had indeed forgotten to give us part of it. After she checked the food pickup area, the missing items suddenly appeared, and she handed them over very reluctantly.

The driver handed two bags to me on the doorstep. As I took them the drink was poring out of the bag all over my doormat and the food bag. The driver was very apologetic and said he did not know there was a drink in the bag. There was no cup holder. The drink was on its side. He told me to complain as my meal was ruined. When I opened the food bag my large chips were cold and only filled to half of the container. I’ve spent the last ten minutes trying to clean my mat and the food was awful.

A great location and the food is fresh and tasty, but it was a shame that the service was so slow, the ordering machines weren't working properly and generally not very attentive. Considering I went at breakfast time and it wasn't busy, that's a pity. It looked like the staff hadn't finished setting up. The main issue though was the app and not integrating with the ordering machines to get points. Really annoying. The cleaning staff were amazing. Really kind and friendly. That made my trip worthwhile (along with the food).

4 portions fries missing and burgers!?

I ordered the family deal for four which should come with 4 portions of fries and I’ve opened my order and there’s only 4 burgers id like a refund please

The service is very slow compared to other branch and disable/baby changing toilet is very very dirty, so many flies around the bin inside and not hygiene at all.

McDonald's offers a consistent and convenient fast-food experience with its well-known menu of burgers, fries, and beverages.

Part of the order was 9 Selects, instead they sent 9 McNuggets (no idea how you get that wrong as one box is twice the physical size of the other).

Once again my order was delivered to the wrong address and streets. I waited outside the house for the driver and he never arrived. And at the same time I received information that I had received the order. The drivers are incompetent. I want my money back asap. I'm not willing to pay for someone else's incompetence.

I am absolutely disgusted. I have made an order worth just over £21 and received the wrong food worth £10.34. delivery driver couldn't care less and said to contact just eat. Now we have been left with over less than half the food we should have, money out of my account and no way of contacting McDonald's themselves. Absolute waste of time!!!
