Megabite in Peterborough

Awful, waited over an hour, still on the order saying it was being prepared. Tried ringing and contacting but no answer after many tries, had to cancel and still pay a service fee. Don't order from here, save yourself the money and the hassle and order somewhere else

Been coming here for over 10 years, even before they moved to their current location. The quality has always been consistent. Best fried chicken and chips in Peterborough. Never had a bad experience here. Chili sauce is to die for. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the owner is super nice and accommodating every time! I always recommend this place to everyone I know.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mega Bite in Peterborough, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience! The decor is incredibly unique, and every single piece of artwork left me in awe. The atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind, making it a memorable visit from the moment you step in. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. The food was absolutely delicious every bite was a delight! The customer service was top notch, with the staff being extremely professional and attentive throughout our meal. I was thoroughly impressed with their dedication to ensuring a great dining experience. I would definitely go back to Mega Bite and highly recommend it to anyone in Peterborough looking for a fantastic place to eat. Five stars all the way!

Naan was fluffy, light and fresh and donner meat portion was good. Also do the best mint sauce around.

The dinner kebab and the chicken nuggets was lovely and hot but the chips were cold and had no salt.

The team is very friendly. The Salam cola was amazing but still you guys need to get rid of Tango and red bull as they are the same as Coca Cola and Pepsi!!

Decided to make a pit stop to refuel ( stomach and not car ) whilst on a trip up north which eventually took 6 hours to complete in the end. The chap who took the order, I believe he may be the owner was super professional and courteous on the phone, as I ordered ahead of arriving to save time. When I got there, the brother personally took me by foot outside of the shop and directed into the next building after asking where I could pray. The food didn’t disappoint, it’s up there with one of the best doner meat and chips I’ve tried and believe me I’ve had my fair share. All in all very pleased with the food and service received and I’m glad we discovered this local legend. Ps I especially emphasised the customer service element of my experience as it is sadly a dying art wherever you go.

Food can take a little while when they’re busy, but it’s always really good. Their fried chicken is the best in Peterborough, and their chilli sauce is really addictive. Friendly staff too

Panini was burnt, and I was not even compensated or refunded, a decision was based without even asking for evidence.

I would give a 0 star rating if I could, food was 45 minutes late, owner was rude and order was wrong several times, do not go here

I am only going to rate my chicken donner Didn't like...... It was hot and I said I didn't want hot and the meat mixed with a red paste that I have never seen on any chicken donner. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice....

The driver had my food for over a hour I spoke to the restaurant gave him food at 3.48 I never got my food until 4.50 and all I get back is 10.99 it’s a joke of a service was the driver not the restaurant

AVOID! 50/50 chance of them excepting your order or not. Multiple occasions now when they have just cancelled the order.

Got to love you have options for different drinks such as Pepsi/Vimto but all you send out it’s some cheap Barr Cola. Update your menu if you no longer stock a product

Food arrived late and very cold, due to delivery on peddle bike. The drinks were also wrong from the ones ordered. When deliver person asked about the wrong drinks, was rude and told me not his problem, he just picks up. Not what I would have expected from the restaurant. Very disappointed

Extremely poor service. Food was supposed to take 35 minutes and took 2 hours. Food arrived cold-luke warm. Order was incomplete upon finally arriving some of the food had fallen out of the containers and was loose in the bottom of a paper bag. Will never be using megabite again as even when we phoned the speaker was rude and the hung up on me multiple times. This is not the service I expect from a well known company especially with the prices they charge. Terrible food and customer service. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

If only there was a feedback option for customer service. Food was fine however I ordered a mb full house 12inch and received received a margerita 12inch. Upon calling the takeaway to rectify their mistake, I was given an excuse "we can't send out another as our dough takes 2 hours to get ready" (so anyone else ordering that pizza wouldn't also receive the same pizza they ordered. I then asked for refund of the difference in the pizzas £4, which the takeaway then gave another excuse oh next time you order food just write in the notes we owe you and we can sort it then. Can't trust that as I wrote my sauces in the notes and they didn't even bother to read the notes for that! Ridiculous customer service received. Million pound company and yet can't refund £4. WON'T BE ORDERING THE OVER PRICED FOOD AGAIN FROM THEM.

It took an hour from placing the order, food arrived cold and they hadnt followed instruction on the order to put ketchup, mayo and chilli sauce on. Which was disappointing, but the cold food was no good for me

I ordered at 5 past 5 and it came just after 650. I would have rather it was cancelled.

You can never go wrong with Mega Bite! Their food is really good, the portion sizes are filling & the atmosphere is always the best. The staff members were really friendly & there's always plenty of space to sit & enjoy your meal. I sometimes get takeaway from here & it's just as good when you dine in, but of course dining in is better.

Hello we are missing one mixed kebab please, can’t get through on phone line

Very slow delivery, ordered vegetable samosa & meat but no label to say which is which so couldn't eat them. All the food was cold. Tried to call the shop no answer.

Forgot to include the orange fruit shoot with the kids meal. Otherwise, very good food, nice portions

no sauces on chips or in pots. so chips bland. chicken fillet burger meal looked worth £4. smallest fillet flat burger. not worth 10£ more expensive than a KFC ZINGER meal with wings! rest was good

The nutella cookie dough was not even nutella it was milk chocolate shocking considering it cost 6 quid and was about 3 mouthfuls.

Poor quality and poor presentation for the price. Megabite kebabs used to be tasty and well presented. This looked like the sort of thing that gets slapped out at 3am.

If I could give this a minus I would. This was so bad. Firstly, my husband ordered me a grilled chicken burger and said it 3 times to make sure it’s the correct order but it turned out to be fried. He told them to put the salad and sauces on my chips and they didn’t do that either. My husband got the lamb kebabs and then got a bad stomach the next day. I don’t recommend getting a takeaway from here.

Gave me the completely wrong food, ordered spicy meet and chips got donnor meat and chips, asked for chilli Mayo, got ketchup Mayo lettuce, clearly can’t ready very well, or just plain ignorant. 10.99 for a 5.99 priced meal.

The restaurant closed we didn’t get our order now currently still trying to get a refund, the restaurant really should of confirmed with the customer that we got our order we did try to call before 8pm which they should be opened but no answer it was like our number was ignored. This is the second and last time we are not ordering from you ever again. Sort your staff and post codes out the next procedure will be legally. It’s not on it’s just not on we had to order from somewhere else.

Half portion of chips... They were cold The kebab wasn't a large at all I paid 10.99 for mine... Wow wasn't worth it at all...
