Five of us went to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday at Bella Sorrento; we came on quite a quiet Wednesday evening. The service was great, polite and efficient. We all ordered pizzas and a couple of salads to share; everything was freshly prepared and really tasty. We brought our own beers as I’d read a previous review mentioning that alcohol isn’t served here, but the staff were happy to get us glasses to use, which was great. I’ll definitely go back; thanks to al!

This is a wonderful pub, hidden on a backstreet, off the beaten path, but it is well worth your time. We found it while wandering around Stowmarket and spent a lovely afternoon sampling the craft beers and chatting with the regulars. The couple who run (and their dog) it are extremely friendly and welcoming, and they know their beers (the couple, not the dog). I told them what sort of beer I like, and they recommended several types I had never heard of and they were amazing. Highly recommended.

Not a wide range, mainly burgers but really good food. The service was also good, not too many people in was wondering if this could be more of an evening venue. They offer wine beer as well as hot and cold drinks. We both had burgers mine was the buttermilk chicken which was really tasty. My husband was very happy with his beef burger. We both had them with cajun fries yummy. Price reasonable.

I was there early in the evening and was made very welcome by the excellent team. They are very customer-focused, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the Queen's Head and i hope to return, when i have the opportunity.

Not been here for a few years but have to say it was a great experience. Had the meat platter to start and then the cod and chips for main. As a gluten free person it was an absolute pleasure to be catered for without any hassle. We had a bottle of. Chardonnay which was very well priced at £19 a bottle. The waitress was absolutely lovely as well. All in all 10/10!! Having been to nearby Bury St Edmunds a few weeks earlier I can honestly say the food, service and price was so much better and we could walk home at the end of the evening! Thanks for a great evening x

I visited this restaurant with my two adults sons for an evening meal. Have been before and was very pleased with the service and food was very nice. However, on this occasion I felt very comfortable. Whilst sitting at the table looking over the menu the waiter (didn't get his name - but quite a tall guy I believe wearing glasses) put his hands on my shoulders and said "relax Ill give you a massage." This made me feel very uneasy and the boys looks very surprised at this. After our meal which I have to say was very tasty and nicely presented, we paid that was just about to leave the restaurant, the waiter came back and said "come back next Thursday we have offers/ different meals on and I can give you a full body massage. This is thought was unnecessary and I felt very uncomfortable with this comment. I feel I shall not be returning back this restaurant. !

True taste of Thailand totally blown away with the food , close your eyes it's the same as when visiting Thailand, not for people in a hurry, but great who want the real thing and lots of it as the portions were large enough to have a tsk away box , I've tried many in mid suffolk food 10/10 locations 8/10 dining room 8/10 staff 8/10 albeit the chef brought our food out personally (nice touch) need to book for satisfaction

Wow. Waited for hours. Kept calling to check and the food was always “just on its way now”. Gave up on 2+ hours.
