We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. Great food and outstanding service. We'll be coming back soon. Fabulous evening.

awful, boss shouting at the waitress girl that looked no older then 16, treated her horribly and even kicked her out the resturant and fired her. was screaming as she walked down the road, disrupted the meal me and my family was having for my boyfriends birthday, DO NOT RECCOMEND!

Fantastic from beginning to end. Arrived early, no problem and asked where we would like to sit Both the front of house staff (Shannon and Lois) were friendly, professional and made us feel so welcome Food was faultless, all arrived in a timely manner, perfect temperature and so flavoursome, portion sizes were more then enough After 3 course's we definitely were not hungry Having lived in Stowmarket for 2 years and on many occasions saying we must try there, I'm so glad we did Just can't believe we waited so long !!!! We booked a table for an evening meal Friday as we were staying in the area and both love Turkish food. We were not disappointed. My husband had Lamb Shashlik and I had Mix Shish which was Chicken and Lamb. Both our meals were very well presented, hot, delicious and filling. My husband also had the Baklava for desert and it again was presented lovely and tasted amazing. All the girls serving in the restaurant were exceptional with fabulous customer service and made you feel very welcome as soon as you entered. I would definitely recommend the restaurant for its exceptional staff and food.

Rather disappointing second visit to Ela on Saturday evening (our first visit, about 7 months ago, was amazing!) The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and all our starters were superb, BUT the "Ela Platter To Share For 4" was very disappointing and most certainly not worth £67. A few pieces of rather unimaginative barbecued chicken and lamb (with more bone than meat). We thought, from the description of this platter, it would be a good option to satisfy everyone's tastes, but we now wish we'd all chosen our own individual main dishes instead. The Platter could have been FAR more interesting, varied AND plentiful for the money. Sorry, Ela, but hugely disappointed this time😔😒

We visited on a midweek night, so not packed out, but the place had a lovely happy atmosphere, and clearly all the customers were enjoying the ambience and the food. We were made to feel very welcome and our waiter (I think one of the owners) couldn't do enough for us. We saw he was treating all the customers the same way. The food was superb with very generous portions ( neither of us could quite finish our dishes). Both were excellently cooked, quite delicious, and well presented. We're looking forward to going back and trying some of the mezze dishes. This is definitely a "cut above the average" place, but with reasonable prices. So, yes we'll be going back, and yes we definitely recommend Ela.

This was a mother's day treat from our son 💙 and I have to say it was a good choice on his behalf. The food was amazing , tasty and piping hot. Five of us had a delicious meal here last night! Food was superb, drinks were flowing. The Turkish white wine was absolutely lovely. We all left very full and happy. The young lady server was particularly fab, especially as it was so busy. Definitely recommend this place!

We visited Ela to celebrate a family birthday. The food was really good, very tasty with generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and helped to add to the atmosphere. I tried the Turkish Raki, which has a wonderful aniseed smell and flavour, which rounded off the Turkish experience nicely. Would definitely recommend Ela restaurant!

This is genuinely the best Turkish restaurant in the UK. Ordered for collection - food was very good. While waiting I've been offered free Turkish tea which was lovely. Had a great chat with the waiter and also received free baklava with my order - forgot to mention the 10% discount you get on your order when you collect. This was by far the best baklava I ever had.

We went out for a family meal to have a good catch-up. The meal was fantastic as it ALWAYS is along with the service. But this is a special thank you to one of the Managers for helping me when my father fainted outside. A fully packed restaurant & there he was outside helping me until everything was all good. My husband and I visited here early on Friday evening with our 1 year old. Two girls were serving and they were just so accommodating - friendly, helpful and super organised. Food was incredible (always is!) and quick service too :)

I moved into an upstairs flat in the centre of stowmarket. On Several evenings when I opened my window I could smell BBQ. When I found out that smell came from a Turkish BBQ restaurant I had to go and have a look. My partner & I were not disappointed. The service from the young ladies waitressing was very attentive & knowledgeable. We opted for a mixed sharer plater for two & ordered a side salad. Two drinks each and got change from £60.

We have food for two delivered about once a month. We have never been disappointed ... the food is delicious. I tell everyone I meet that they should try Ela! Highly recommended.

11 of us went here Saturday just gone. Everything was perfect. the food tasted amazing, the staff were attentive without being annoying. All our food came at the same time and not 1 person had a bad word about it. Me and my partner will be back more often. Its great to have a place like this on our doorstep

We visited this restaurant in March 2023 as part of a family celebration. The overall experience was poor, as a number of menu items were not available, with substitutions being made on a mixed platter to serve 3 people (out of a party of 4). We left the restaurant feeling hungry and dissatisfied with the experience. As it was a celebration, it didn’t feel right to complain whilst there, so an email was written detailing the issues we had, which included being charged a 10% service charge on top of the bill, despite the delays between courses and lack of availability of menu items (chicken on a skewer being one of them!). No response was received after two weeks, hence leaving this review. Overall a poor experience and suffice to say we will not be returning.

Amazing food and staff are so friendly. The food was for collection, it was ready when they said would be and tasted fantastic. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled as the food was absolutely exquisite. Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. The dining experience overall is very pleasant.
