The best restaurants in Alexandra Ipswich East of England

First visit and definitely not my last -loved the concept of creating my bespoke sundae and with such a huge choice there’s plenty of scope for lots more visits! I had Shipwreck and Eton Mess -both delicious topped with cream,sweets and raspberry sauce -absolutely delicious!

The couscous was sticky and had a rotten smell. The chicken wings still had fluff on them, it was not removed properly...Never order again

Excellent coffee and a truly amazing selection of artisan cakes and sweets. Loved chatting with the owner who has such passion and talent. Well worth a visit.

Great cafe, all homemade food, very reasonable price, the lady was supper nice, making good conversation

Lovely little gem of a restaurant. Quick booking confirmation, good service. Staff very friendly and keen to ensure you are happy at all time. Bathroom clean and modern. Food arrived fairly quickly. Lots of great flavours. Very enjoyable evening. Would recommend.

It's a kiosk, selling doughnuts. What's not to like?! I guess the only thing is the earlier you get there, the better the selection.

The best takeaway in Ipswich, maybe even Suffolk!. Been ordering from here for the past few years and every meal is outstanding. Other Indian restaurants/takeaways we have tried in the area are either not spicy enough or too oily, whereas Masha get it right every time while maintaing great value. Could not recommend more highly and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Delivery drivers are also always really friendly.

I've visited this branch many times. Its not very clean. Also very very tight on salad in subs! Moving forward I'll use a different Subway.

True Irish pub and yes they do the best Guinness in town which I happily consume most days very friendly and efficient staff love my beaten up old Chair straight out of father Ted! Lots of gigs and music going on but poorly advertised overall my favourite pub in Ipswich!!!

REPORTED TO FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY - DANGEROUS IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIETARY NEEDS! I called in advance to ask if they cater for vegans. I was assured that my curry would be made vegan and even added it to the notes section of the order to make sure as I have an intolence to dairy having been vegan for three years. My VEGAN curry had PANEER (cheese) in it - I am now dealing with the consequences of my dairy intolerance with an upset stomach and sickness! You'd think that was bad enough, my friend then found MEAT in her VEGETARIAN curry!!!!!! We called right away and spoke to a horrible, unhelpful and rude lady called Mel. She accused us of lying, told us (a vegan and vegetarian) we were the ones who added meat to our curry, that paneer is tofu (when tofu isn't on their menu and it was 100% cheese) and that Indian cheese doesn't contain dairy which was an outright lie and I even had to read the Google definition to her on the phone! She was shouting, made an offensive comment about her own staff, "well he is foreign but he knows what he's doing", lied multiple times about what allergens their food contains and treated us like liars. Reporting to Food Standards Agency immediately and highly insist that all with allergies, dietary requirements or just common sense stay away!!!!!!

What a fantastic chinese buffet! Food was fresh, hot and plentiful. Staff all very polite and attentive but a special mention goes to Jay, what a funny man, had us giggling all the time we were there, he really is an asset to this place, it was a pleasure to meet you Mr Chow (his nickname so he told us!). Well worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a really nice Nandos. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff was great with our two young children. The food was delicious and fast. We had an overall great experience and will definitely come back
