Masha of India in Ipswich

The best takeaway in Ipswich, maybe even Suffolk!. Been ordering from here for the past few years and every meal is outstanding. Other Indian restaurants/takeaways we have tried in the area are either not spicy enough or too oily, whereas Masha get it right every time while maintaing great value. Could not recommend more highly and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Delivery drivers are also always really friendly.

Fantastic meal as always at Masha. Been going to this restaurant for so many years and we always have a great meal and experience. Can't recommend it highly enough. Best Indian restaurant in Ipswich in my opinion.

Once again, a really tasty meal. Very decent portions. Interesting menu plus all the old favourites. There is now a separate menu for vegan diners. We collected our takeaway which was ready when the friendly staff said it would be and it was pleasing to see diners eating in too. The Masha is highly recommended.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ipswich! Always an 8/10 at least, never had a bad experience. Hosting is excellent and very warm, great flavours, very fresh and real value for money. Easily the best naan I've had. Menu could be more exciting, but it certainly has something for everyone and every dish we've had has been excellent in quality. Decor is very homely and authentic Indian, without being really high quality. Money has been spent in the right places - the kitchen, the food and the staff!

We love the Masha! We eat in when we can but mostly order in. Lovely food, always hot and tasty. We order directly from their website as its slightly cheaper :-)

Masha of India in Ipswich is a haven for vegetarian diners. Their Indian Vegetarian Dishes are crafted with care, offering a delightful fusion of flavours and textures. I have ordered Saag Bhaji, Tarka Daal, Chana Masala and Mixed Vegetable Curry. And they are one of the best veg dishes i have tried so far!

Had a great takeaway tonight, every dish was delicious and brilliant portions. So flavoursome, and you can pretty much get a vegan version of everything and allergens are very clearly labelled on the website. We've been eating here for 10+ years now and will continue to do so! Highly recommend.

Nice friendly staff . The biryani was amazing very tasty . Veg curry that came with biryani complimented it well. Really like the tandoori chicken roll. The nans were nice and soft . Overall a good tasty meal.

In the past when i was living in st. Helens Street i went several times to have dinner with my wife and sons and have a nice Mateus Rose wine Yesterday for the first time I ordered takeaway and it's was Amazing nice quality food and delicious. I'll order again.

I ordered a takeaway from Masha of India through JustEat which they accepted. After 1 hour they sent a notification to say that my order was cancelled. As a result my wife and I are left without a meal on a Friday night due to extremely poor customer service. I have never experienced anything like this from any other restaurant. MAsha of India you are pants!!!

The food has gotten smaller for the same price and the packaging isn't secure so there was leaking.

We often order from Masha since discovering them a couple of years ago. They do a great selection of vegan dishes and it’s always great. Highly recommended.

Well marked allergens so easy to pick vegan options from the menu. Food arrived hot and was delicious. Will order again.

Masha of India are doing a great job of maintaining high quality food. They have an excellent range for vegans and will do their best to accommodate preferences. For example they did me a sensational spinach and mushroom balti (which is not on their menu). The Bombay potato is really good. Very friendly and courteous service.

Utterly excellent. Their staff took my order immediately, answered the phone to me straight after while I made some minor changes and their delivery driver, heavens know how he knew we had a newborn baby, knocked on the door *just* loud enough for us to hear but to escape the hearing of the dog and the baby. All that aside the food was excellent, the tandoori chicken was some of the best I think I've ever had and the set meals are a great price point to start with as we're all feeling the pinch. I've never visited their restaurant but I look forward to doing so as soon as the opportunity arises. Excellent job guys, thank you!

Food was an hour late, two of the dishes were cold. Tasted nice but a shame it was cold due to its lateness. I was originally told it was here at 19:10 but it wasn’t rang and was advised it was due to a slow driver. Then texted for an update to which a time slot of 19:50 was provided. Food arrived at 19:45 we orders at 17:52 not good service.

Food was delicious, really enjoyed it and would order again

Undercooked rotis and chappaties( we had to cook the roti on the pan a bit more, but still was so thick). The breads are supposed to be fresh, crisp and soft. Tandoori chicken that was more like oily fried chicken with no flavor, undercooked pakoras with batter still seen from the inside.....no flavour or soul at all. The one extra star was only for the poppadum which was the only edible item. Please don't call these "tandoori" foods. Kindly increase the quality of food.

The curry sauce was a bit thin.

Masha offer lots of vegan options and they’re always really tasty. The vegan set meal for 1 is great value for money, and the phaal is tasty without being too ridiculously hot. I’ve never been disappointed.

Vegetarian dishes are cooked badly. They don't taste good at all. I had to literally throw all the food as is.

Had a lovely take away meal from here tonight. Chicken tikka byriani with vegetable curry was very good, chicken moist and tender. Partner had chicken passanda and very much enjoyed his. Naans were tasty as were the onion bhajis. Will definitely be ordering again.

Below average wouldn’t recommend but pricing is alright

Firstly the order came up as delayed was given a revised time an hour later then the original and then turned up 15 minutes later then the later revised time, tikka was cold and the naan bread was over cooked and inedible, not Mashas finest hour

We sat in a couple of weeks ago walking into town , intending origunally to get a take away later. It is like an Indian restaurant should be.. side, mains, rice, keema naan & a bottle of red for just over 30 quid...service great, food delicious.. so last night we ordered a set meal for 2... a snippet over £20 .. 2 starters, paps & sauce,2 mains, large pilau,bombay aloo, naan... delicious....& local....& we could of had it delivered! I was passing so picked up.

Food was hot and delicious, had to wait over an hour for delivery which is a bit longer than I would usually want to wait, but cannot fault the food.

One of the Best Indian Restaurants in Ipswich

Always lovely food. Was missing some popadoms in my last delivery but these oversights happen, it would have been because 1 was included in the vegan meal and I added 3 but we only received 1.

I think the meal deals they have are decent. However, I once dined in and it cost us around £45. Sorry to say, but over priced for the food. The sauces were watered down or had a lack of a lot of seasoning. The beef was extremely chewy and my partners chicken tasted unseasoned, other than the sauce. The popadums tasted stale. It's a shame as the guy at the front was extremely friendly. For £20 ish I would get the food (as quite a few things with it) but I wouldn't dine in, unless they changed the above.

My order was missing some items

Popped in to grab some food after work, I ordered butterfry King prawn, coconut rice and salad. I have to say I was very pleased with my meal. Coconut rice amazing 🤌🏻 prawn was cleaned and seasoned really well.. salad fresh. Friendly kind service too. Thank you. Will be ordering again. 😊

Ordered through the website. Not up the standard that was previous. Negatives were, we ordered 6 poppadums, paid for mango chutney, and onion salad. Only got 1 small tub of mango chutney to share between 4 of us? Onion bhajis were rock hard. On the mains our relative ordered chicken tikka masala (he is a chef), he stated that it was really bland with hardly any spice in it at all. I ordered my usual tandoori chicken, this was the very first time ordering from Masha that I didn’t get red fingers from eating the tandoori chicken. This would mean that they have changed the tandoori paste that they put on the chicken, very little flavour. Cutting back on spices again I think probably to save money. Prices had gone up tremendously but I can understand that due to the circumstances. Positives were that the butter chicken was exactly as it had been previously, rice was lovely and fluffy, although pilau rice had no red bits in it ( I have always noticed these before). Peshwari was exactly as before, very nice. Don’t want to go elsewhere , will try again to see if it’s back to normal

The meal was nice, just a bit underwhelming compared to our normal restaurant. Onion Bhajis small and disappointing, like ones you can buy from supermarket. Korma lovely, madras really nice flavour but watery? Born out naans were stone cold and chewy, Cauli pakora and chicken chat nice. Popadoms soft and chewy. Don’t think will bother to try again.
