Excellent service while I waited inside, fantastic food at a great price, will come again.

Nice guy very friendly food was nice tasted different from other takeaways. Bit on the pricey side around £9 more than previous places, maybe do to the dishes I order usually comes with free naan bread from other takeaways? Handy that it opens at 4pm

The taste is quite ordinary. They should stop using the label 'Indian restaurant'—it's not even close.

I took a chance after receiving a leaflet through the post and I’m so glad I did! Absolutely delicious food, all fresh and piping hot, great portions and such good value for money! The onion bhajis were delicious. Was lovely to have an option of a meal for one too - not something many Indian takeaways do. Great customer service over the phone and delivery as well. Will definitely be coming back.

We just ordered for the first time. I can honestly say it was one of the best curry’s we have had ever and we have had many. The chicken pathia was the best I have ever tasted and everything else was as good. Will be ordering again very soon I would recommend to anyone to order from here. Delicious

I received a leaflet through my door and decided to try here, as there were some different things on the menu. The food was delicious- plenty of good quality meat. We will be returning again soon. We were made to feel welcome and free poppadoms were provided.

Amazing service and huge portions very taste and accommodating

Third time ordering from this place and it's safe to say it's my go-to for Indian takeout :) The food consistently tastes fresh and high quality, and I usually have enough for leftovers the next day! The staff are friendly and polite, and for the quality of food you get, the prices are fair. Highly recommend!

We ordered a good variety for takeaway delivery from here tonight. We had korma, tikka masala, tikka main. Pilau rice, halloumi, naans a range of sauces. And a few more. Delivery was perfectly timed and on track and the food was lovely and hot! The chicken was extremely tender and very well flavored and seasoned. The sauces were perfect to match, very well balanced and the spices were also spot on! First time I've had a naan bread with such a nice strong flavour that really complimented the food. It wasn't overpowering, but really nice tones of fresh garlic and a great balance of cheese (on the cheese one) also very nice charcoal flavour edge too. Mango chutneys and mint sauces were also just really nice and fresh tasting. Overall, honestly one of the best I have had for a while, topped with some really great service and a phone call to make sure we were happy with everything, from a very polite gentleman, which was a really nice touch for top notch service. Thanks for a really wonderful meal. I would certainly recommend trying this place if your in the mood for the food! Really looking forward to my next order in the future!

Yesterday, we ordered from Curry Garden Ipswich Takeaway, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food arrived on time, piping hot and well-packaged. Each dish was in a generous portion size, ensuring great value for money. We tried the Dum Biryani, Peri-Peri Hot Wings, and Avocado Chat, and each one was exceptionally tasty. The Dum Biryani was flavorful and aromatic, the Peri-Peri Hot Wings were perfectly spiced, and the Avocado Chat was a refreshing and delightful surprise. The lovely spice smell that greeted us as soon as we opened the lids deserves a special mention—it truly set the tone for a wonderful meal. Overall, Curry Garden Ipswich Takeaway exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to ordering from them again soon. Highly recommended!

Order wasn’t great, I wouldn’t order again

i can’t recommend my local indian enough - my vegan dad was able to have a naan bread for the first time in years, the avocado chat was so fresh and tasty and my mum loved her vegetable curry. the owner is so friendly and i feel lucky to have such a cracking place as my local!

Asked for chicken phaal and it came quick, was at least as spicy hot as anywhere else in Ipswich. On pack it asked me to review. Very good. Might have again tonight

Great food as always . Hot , Tasty, and on time . Have used these guys for about 4 years now would say it’s the only Indian I enjoy. Usually collect so very quick to be ready but the delivery’s have always been on time or early and hot too. Would recommend anytime

Lovely and piping hot on arrival. Bhajis, naan bread were good. Chicken could be larger pieces and of better quality, sauces need to be thicker and tastier but overall I enjoyed it and will be ordering again as was my first time.

the Tandoori chicken was shocking! took one bite and binned it and the chicken pakoras were even worse took one bite and binned them too. very disappointing.

Ordered via deliveroo, just for myself. Good portion size, could serve two. The food was tasty, although the deep fried sides were a little too oily perhaps but still tasty. Delivery was within the scheduled window & delivery driver was friendly.

My order took just under two hours to arrive. The food was nice when it did eventually arrive, but had I of known it was going to take so long to come I would’ve gone elsewhere.

Very average food, at best. Rogan lacked flavour, lamb was not good, tasted fatty. They also didn’t put in the mango chutney ordered, but did include 1 extra spicy poppadom which was the nicest thing. Won’t be going back to I’m afraid.

Very quick delivery, but this resulted in the food being damaged. Both mains and sides had been damaged on the journey causing both curries to spill into the bag and cause cross contamination (one meat one vegetarian). Poppadoms arrived in pieces.Drivers should be more vigilant when making deliveries.

Everything was terrible and very disappointing, we had to throw it away. They gave me the wrong order which is a curry I do not like. And the two other curry’s I got were extremely extremely oily and taste was completely different. One of the rice was also so oily, and the other was just extremely dry. Haven’t been disappointed like this is a long while.

Happy with the early delivery, delivery driver was lovely. Food was okay, the curry box had split and put two curries had mixed together and it left our somosas and bahjis soggy. Pleasant enough to eat, not my favourite curry I've had but I've definitely had worse. Not sure if it's because of the spillage and our food being soggy! Garlic bread over slightly crunchy but still tasty, along with the poppadoms - they were very nice!

Was over hour and a half late and said delivered an hour early wen finally arrived was cold

Arrived after 1 and a half hours, cold, delivery was rude when they were late. Poppadoms tastes like dust. The starters portions were £6 but we're very small and burnt.never been so disappointed especially when I invited the family around. Chicken was processed and made me and the family Ill after. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE 🤢🤢

Worst curry I've ever had, spent 50 quid, poppadoms cooked in old oil, seesh kabab and chicken tikka starter were tiny portions, flavourless and very burnt chicken tikka corma was just very bland sauce with a couple of bits of proceesed chicken onion bajis where greasy and burnt at same time, called to complain when it was late and they blamed traffic on Christmas day! Called to complain and the fobbed me off saying the boss was on a delivery and will call me back, very did! I will definitely be getting my money back even if it means having to go into the building myself very dissatisfied and let down as this was our Christmas meal. Never order from here!!!

We went with our gut instinct and ordered from Curry Garden, as a way to testing it out since the recent new management and rebranding. We were not disappointed. The food was tasty, full of flavour and the side veg curry that accompanies the Biryani was a surprise. Not your usual pre cut mix veg, but fresh Broccoli, potatoes, carrots. Portions were large and just right with the heat and spice. The whole family enjoyed the meal. Definitely recommend trying them as I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good timely service, with delivery and great food!!!

Very salty and watery prawn curry. So called King prawns were tiny and hardly any to be found. Curry was mainly watery soup sauce. Inedible. Onion bhaji dripping in oil. Bombay aloo the top layer was bright orange oil and potatoes fell apart like mush. Terrible won't be returning

The Lamb Tikka Biryani - very small Lamb Tikka pieces, Flavour was in Biryani and side veg dish was standard. I was not excited by the meal as there was nothing outstanding in flavour.

Nice food though only 3 small onion bajees for £4.50 so beware on that. However, overall a good experience and meat was lovely and tender.

Absolutely delicious food! The second I opened the lid and got that first waft of tikka I was practically drooling. The sauces were rich and flavourful, the meat was lovely and tender. The rice was perfectly fluffy and the naan bread was crispy and light, the absolute perfect thickness in that it wasn't stodgy. Fantastically delicious I can't rate it high enough and I'll 100% be ordering from them again!!!

First off, this was ordered on a Friday night, so that is a consideration for both the delivery time and food. 15 mins late - however tbe driver was very polite and apologised., The food: small portions, very little chicken (5 small chunks) in the curry. The curry itself was bland, and watery. The onion Bhaji where soft and not atall crispy like I'd expect. Again this could be because it was a Friday night at 18.25 (at the time of ordering). I will be returning to my regular curry house and avoiding Curry Garde.

Under £50 for 4 people, fantastic value and great food. Ordered at the Fat cat and delivered and still got the 10% discount. Can't fault it.

Website is awful, food is mediocre, chemical taste throughout and cheap ingredients. Peshwari naan was okay though, so adding back one star. Go to the Maharani instead.

Had a delivery last night . Turned up a hour late 30 mins before that i phoned them up and they said it would be with you in a few mins. Completely lied to me . Food arrived over 1 hour late, staff lied to us on the phone, told us food was on its way & it wasn't. Korma curry was tasteless & overall poor quality. I would not recommend the new owners.

This food was awful. The food arrived extremely late. The chicken korma, keema Nan was awful. Really really disappointed. I don’t leave reviews usually but this food was really disappointed.

Absolute let down, we ordered our food because of the good reviews. For a start the pakora chicken was dry, my cheese naan bread was rock solid couldn’t even break it in half with my hands as well as being stingy on the meat in the curry and the onion bahjis were burnt to crisp as well. Will not be ordering again.

Oh dear. I've been ordering the same dish - King Prawn Dhansak - from here for the last 18 years, and regardless of the change of names and owners in that time, it's been delicious every time. Last night's was awful. Unlike any I have had before, and not in a good way. It was a shame as it was meant to be a celebration meal with the wife. I hate giving bad reviews but the meal I had last night deserved it.

I don't like Indian so I got a cheese burger which was lovely, my mum got a korma with boiled rice she said it was the best korma EVER! I had a try of it and omg it was lovely so I will be having a korma myself next time!!

Was a let down this time. Onion bargie luke warm and not much flavour. Naan bread cold. Aloo potatoes also quite tasteless.poppadoms broken. Our last meal was gorgeous but not on this occasion.

Love this place best takeaway in Ipswich by far not only great traditional Indian food but also English dishes on the menu food is amazing and I can not fault anything about spice hut great service everytime thank you guys
