Is very very bad food.I buy once then I be come sick and very expensive. Interception or not respectful today I order my food and they give me wrong order

Ate here last week food was good

Ordered takeaway, it arrived on time but was warm & I was a bit disappointed as the ratings & reviews were really good. Will revert back to my usual one.

the boss rented out to private tenants...honestly there will be plenty of indian takeaways that will be suffocated by prices they charge due to issues in other countries..only the best will survive im afraid and thats the truth.

My go to restaurant, the food is always delicious, by far my favourite in Suffolk. The customer service is also amazing. Delivery is always early or on time.

Not sure if it's me but not much flavour in today's curry. I used to go vindaloo but those days have gone so go for mild but the spice is missing Chilly curry just doesn't go well on a 300 mile motorcycle ride the next day

My friends and I had been on an 18 mile walk, which turned into about 20 after heading to Royal Jorna and back home again. The food was absolutely fabulous, along with the service. I wish I had known the name of the lovely man serving us, (just to add) he was so polite, happy and seemed very interested in our day. Can't wait to go back again 🤩😋

My husband and I love The Jorna, food is delicious. The staff are attentive and remember us when we go in. The restaurant is clean and that makes a difference. Will be going again very soon

Food wasn't good waste of £20. the two veg dishes were so so overcooked and taste of nothing was a bowl of mush and the mixed starter £6 - not the meat one which was 4 pound something - only came with meat even though the photo shows two samosas and two bhajis. very disappointed won't order again.

Food tasted good but the masala much box wasn’t worth the money in my opinion as the chips was soggy and the rice waterier but the tikka tasted good as did the starter but I wouldn’t order the much box again …. Delivery driver was friendly and arrived in good time

Chicken biryani which I ordered is like chicken fried rice No taste.

I was let down by the Dhaka this evening. This meal was awesome, thank you!

We were missing 1 main course a curry. When i phoned it was checked and i was told it had gone out with another order ? I was asked if i wanted the curry sent out i said yes please but also fresh rice and chips as the first would be cold. I was told to reheat it ? when i refused to reheat food i was told you don't have to order from us ? The attitude was disgusting and has lost once a week orders.

Delivery person ignored my instructions to call me when arrived (as doorbell does not work) however luckily i heard him banging and opened the door to him getting in his car to drive off with my food !

The service is outstanding both telephone and face to face. Food is so tasty and delivered on time. Price is great value. 5* keep up the good work 😊

The chicken tikka did not taste like chicken tikka plus it was brown when it’s supposed to be red and it was freezing cold.And didn’t taste right at all. I didn’t eat mine, I won’t be ordering from here again.

Me & my partner regularly order from here & the food is always out of this world! They deliver super quick & theres never anything missing from the order, which is a problem we’ve often had with other Indians around Ipswich. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Very nice food with good portion sizes and delivered timely. Only grumble is that I paid in cash and the delivery driver claimed to have no change. Although I saw him with a change bag! Although he would have got a tip if wasn’t so crafty… Not worth an argument over £3.50 albeit.

overpriced and small portions..get real on competetivness or i can forsee closure..ive worked in plenty of food places the markup has always been 700 to 1000 percent..there will be a ceiling where ppl will just make it at home and tbh its easy enough to do,,sorry u not got my vote

Can't recommend this takeaway enough. Food always delicious, hit and plenty if it. Definitely the best we have had. Delivery always on time and drivers are very polite. Our go to takeaway, a defnitely have to visit for a sit down meal soon.

Not sure if changed hands but not as nice as it use to be . Haven't ordered for a long time and was so looking forward to it...... I had chicken madras sauce tasted watery and the chicken very dry and taste less.

Tasteless food and the items cooked doesn't match with the name of the items and the quality of food is question .

Avoid the munch box. The rice is put on the chips while wet so it makes them go soggy and they have the biggest chunks of pepper and onion you have ever seen even in a korma. The chicken was ok but not much there was also no popadum or nan bread included as it states in the ad and I’ve spent the day after in the bathroom

Just had a Delivery from these guys,Driver called me to check where we were,and the food got here quickly and still hot. Food looks like it would if you were having it put on your table in a Restaurant,very impressed !!! Tastes amazing,spicy,high quality. Lots left over for tomorrow:)

First time using the Jorna and definitely won't be the last. The food was hot and incredibly tasty. Both chicken and veg cooked in the Bhuna and Dopiaza where perfect, sauce was thick and the best I have tasted in a long time. Delivery chap was lovely. Highly recommend.

Lazy delivery driver with a smart a#se attitude. Could be bothered to find a place to park and got mouthy when told all other takeaway deliveries deliver without having to pick up from a car!! Won’t be ordering again

Wasn't as impressed with this as I was last time......nothing special with the delivery (Last time the guy turned up in a suit, delivered to my door and was very polite. This time, I got a phonecall from their car and I had to go out and get the delivery. Had more or less the same order as last time, it was ok, just didn't taste as delicious as before. Not sure if changed the chef. Slighty diappointed.

Bland tasting korma and chicken tikka and the happy meal came with no naan bread as stated on just eat tang to complaint and they told me it was included despite it being on the menu. Overall there are much better tastier Indian restaurants in Ipswich I thought I’d support a local business but what a waste of money that was. Avoid avoid avoid

I'm a bit funny when it comes to Indian food but honestly the meal I just had from here was absolute perfection !!

Our favourite Indian in town. We've used them for the last four years now. Have never had a single issue with anything. The food is really very good. We have vegetarian relatives who also highly rate their vegetarian curries when we've ordered for them.

Sadly prawn purée was cold , Peshwari nan was cold , Parthia was the most tasteless I have had so overall not happy , in their favour quick delivery

Best curry house in Ipswich. Always a good madras, everything always piping hot. Always on time too, even for a Saturday night. Highly recommend

Tonight was about the 20th time I have visited this restaurant and it will now be the last. Previously we have enjoyed good food and great customer service. The meal started off well with poppadoms and delicious starters and then it went downhill. There were 11 of us and all of our main meals were lukewarm or cold. Our food was reheated (in a microwave I believe) and brought back out to us. It was a tasty meal but blighted by the temperature of the curry. At the end of the meal little was done about the sub standard main meals that we all had but we eventually got some money taken off the bill. On leaving the restaurant we were told not to return or to order a takeaway as we wouldn't receive the food. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the poor customer service that we received.

30 minutes late (80 minutes on total), food cold, missing an item, half full containers (korma less than 50% full) tasted awful. So disappointing as the quality is normally excellent. Different chef tonight? Feeling cheated of my money.

Better refer the food we got as over fried vegetables with rice and lots of chicken that does no taste and masala, not biriyani. It comes with a side gravy with vegetables, better serve as a dessert…. The Aloo chat we ordered is also we can’t refer as it is, smells like ayurvedic medicine , need to close our nose….very very disappointing 😡😡😡

Turned up cold and had to throw it in the bin as all congealed. Very disappointed as I was a loyal customer. Not anymore. Ordered ahead at 5.30 for 7pm. Turned up at 7.45pm. Lost my business. Well done (yes I'm being sarcastic)

Even though they brought a madras instead of a malayan they got the replacement to us within 30 minutes, which is good going allowing for the distance from there to here. I had not ordered from them before but will not hesitate to go to them again.

I’ve have had many Indian takeaways in my time working away from home for the last 30 years so I am quite the connoisseur in curries! So tonight I ordered my go to, chicken Tikka Madras garlic rice and garlic Naan,it was delivered earlier than the estimated time, the Naan bread was like it just came out of the oven, the rice was light and fluffy and the Madras… was absolutely amazing 10/10.Will certainly recommend this place to my work colleagues.Also very reasonably priced. You won’t go wrong with this one!!

Where do I start wow the owners son had just got back from London and his father made him deliver our food smartly dressed and lovely young man I'm a delivery Driver myself so I tipped him and was it worth it yes rice stunning not clogged full of flavour could taste jasmine and was so different smacked of quality chicken ceylon lovely coconut flavour missus was well impressed and daughter and there fussy trust me please don't change jorna that was incredible and what I've been looking for years and I've had many an Indian but not like that even better it was my birthday congratulations guys and keep up the standard thanks Mr kp hart

Just had a fabulous meal at the Royal Jorna. Brilliant host in Riyad. A very friendly young man. The food was amazing. King Prawn puri then fish karai, side of saag paneer and a peshwari nan. Faultless. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Ipswich 😊
